Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by sirk60(m): 9:28am On Mar 20, 2025 |
Hello, My name is Kayode; I worked on the report. So, the data we gave was directly from management. Though the over 92k output u mentioned is factual, it accounts for the total CPO produced, not the one sold to the market. The company sold about 31k tons to the market and refined the rest. The report was focused on CPOs sold to the market. Maybe we could have clarified that better. There is a reason why we put the mail of analysts in the report; it is for u to reach out and ask questions if you have any. Thank you. unite4real: This was done by the research team of cardinal stones. I stopped reading when I saw the part below.
"CardinalStone also estimated that Presco’s crude palm oil output would reach 53,612 tons in 2025, reflecting a significant 72.6% year-on-year increase, while Okomu Oil is expected to produce 79,997 tons in 2025."
Meanwhile PRESCOS 2024 crude palm oil output was over 92,000 metric tons. How could an increase from this level go down to around 53k tons and they call that an increase of 72.6% outlook fkr 2025. On the other hand, an estimated increase to 53k tons at 72% from previous year means that the previous year would have been about 41,000 tons when in reality it's not true as their 2024 report shows over 92k tons.
It's not always proper to rely on reports from some of these research teams no matter how big the company is.
I may be wrong here but I will like some others to touch light this matter |

Please sir can you shed more light on the phrase "buying job" or "serving job" I've come across it several times on the army recruitment thread am guessing it's part of dssc/ssc recruitment old boys lingo but I don't know the meaning. Thank you very much. Prudent5217: Buying and Serving Job in the Army is one thing. But when it becomes physical it’s another thing entirely. At least some of us bought good jobs in German currency and served them graciously. Before some clowns even thought of joining the Academy |
