Yes you can, it is specified by CIC that you need to explain any lump sum deposit. Also the person providing this funds/gift must be identified.

Bravo to the Gurus for the good work they are doing here.. Pls I will like to ask if a lump sum in the account can be explained as deed of gift with proper documentation for that. Someone used this for the Canadian express entry stuff and the permit was granted.. Will this suffice for student visa?.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
I need help on securing MSc. Chemistry Admission in a Canadian Universities. Most of the Universities offering my intended course mandated that a supervisor must be secured before proceeding with application. I have been trying to contact several faculty members in different schools, infact, i have mailed more than one hundred (100) faculty members. Some gave negative response, while many ignored my inquiry. I am planing for winter 2020. I want My Ogas in the house like @frankrobbn1 etc to pls assist me on this because time is flying away. Tips, Suggestions and even recommendations will be appreciate..Please help a Brother Abeg. Will be waiting for all of Wuna Response oo.. Ciao.

Good Morning Everyone,
I intend going for my Masters in Chemistry and I've been trying to get a supervisor because i think doing that is very important but they keep telling me that they have to opening..
I will be applying for winter 2020 and the deadline is fast approaching.
Pls, My Ogas in the house, Can I proceed in applying for the admission without securing a supervisor first.
You advice will be appreciated..
