About four Igbo guys have begun trending online after a video of them surprising their friend on his birthday was shared online.

The boys in the video just might have set a new trend on how people should surprise and celebrate their close ones on their birthdays.

In the video, the guys can be seen holding plastic bags that would be revealed to have wads of cash in it as they make their way to meet their friend who was asleep.

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says south-east governors are working for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Kanu made the allegation in a broadcast on Saturday.

He said the governors were working for the president and not Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, because of their plan to return for second term by all means.

The Nigeria Police Force has filed a charge against embattled Senator Dino Melaye, for alleged illegal weapons possession.



In the charge filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, the police said a pump-action gun was recovered from Melaye’s Kogi house during a raid in his house in July last year.

LEAKED AUDIO 2: “Nigeria Is Going Nowhere, Can Never Change, Unless Everybody Is Killed” — Amaechi


Reno Omokri, an ex-presidential aide on new media, has released another audio recording of the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, 24hours after he released the first one where Amaechi referred to President Muhammadu Buhari as an ignoramus who neither takes advice nor reads to acquire information.

Omokri made the second audio release available on Sunday in a post on his Twitter page amid the controversies that trailed an earlier snippet he made public.

Recall that in the snippet, Amaechi was reportedly heard saying, “The President does not listen to anybody. Does he even read?”

But the Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital, New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi, has claimed the audio recording was from 2014 at the height of Amaechi’s fight with Omokri’s former principal, President Goodluck Jonathan.

In what appears as a counterattack against Ogunlesi’s defence, Omokri released the full clip where Amaechi was put on record mentioning President Buhari’s name.

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has given reasons why President Muhammad Buhari won’t sign any bill again.

He spoke while reacting to a report that Buhari had drawn the curtains on the signing of bills for the Fourth Alteration to the 1999 Constitution.

The presidency noted that any bills not signed till date must have lapsed, adding that Buhari would have also communicated same to the National Assembly.
