Xiaomi Mi 9 is the next in line of the Xiaomi Mi series, succeeding the Mi 8 which was released mid last year. The upcoming smartphone is a flagship device and as such will follow the yearly tradition by being announced sometime during the middle of the year just like the Mi 8.

However, rumours suggest that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9 might be looking at an early launch date; February ending at the MWC and going on sale on March. Although, there haven’t been any concrete information or a good amount of leaks regarding this Mi 9 which will suggest a close launch date so launch date is most likely going to happen around the same time as its predecessor – sometime during the middle of the year.
