If the oil is thick but can flow out of the keg, don't bother yourself about boiling it. Get someone to buy it like that.

By boiling, you mean emptying the whole oil inside a pot and cooking it over again? Won't it sleep again when it gets cool after boiling?

Well, i placed the keg ontop of 2 planks and I even used another plank to prevent it from having direct contact with the wall. The place i kept it earlier, there's a fridge there, so i think the air the fan of the fridge was blowing must have affected it too.

Thick oil doesn't necessarily mean bad oil.

Firstly you can Sun it up but it'd sleep off when it's cold. This option is best if the thickness isn't too bad!

If it's very thick, I mean solid, then boiling is your best bet. However while you'd be able to get a watery good nice oil after boiling, you won't get the same volume when you are done.

When buying oil for long storage, it's wise to get sth with more olein proportion.

Try to agitate the keg vigorously first before any of the options above especially if you stored them well.
