As earlier reported by LIB, the Bauchi State Police Command paraded crime suspects last week including two arrested for criminal conspiracy, incest and attempt to commit homicide.

On March 24th at about 7am, police detectives attached to Gamawa Division arrested one Dije Abdulkadir, 20, from Gara ward in Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State. The suspect gave birth to a baby girl and threw her inside the well with the intent to kill her.
However, the timely intervention of well meaning individuals in the area who helped and rescued the baby alive saved her life.

Dije confessed that her biological father one Abdulkadir Mohammed, 55, impregnated her so when she delivered the baby, decided to kill her.

Both suspects confessed to the heinous act and were subsequently charged to court for prosecution.

A: Before I continue, I will like to talk about my brother, Chukudi, He studied Law in University of Lagos, He was really a cool brother actually, he was acting as the breadwinner of the family, he works very hard and sacrifice much to see we are happy.

But that day, on 5th of August 2015 that should be on a Wednesday Mom came back from work at exactly 9:53 pm, we were all seeing a movie Story for the gods I think, we were about welcoming dad when four huge heavily armed men rushed in and pushed mum, dad left us when I was two years old, well lets just say I say I don't know dad. To cut this whole mess short, they took all our jewelries, phones, mine was i-phone 4 it really made me mad, we were all ordered to lie down facing down, I felt the gun without touching it. This happened in Umuahia.


One of the gang members approached me an started touching my private part. I begged him to stop, my little siblings began to cry shivering, then Chuks, my big bro shouted please just go, please!!!I couldn't see what was happening but I heard him scream.

Mum, was just there scared I guess. I didn't really get what they were telling him until, I heard mum scream please!!!. I looked up and saw mum at gun point and my bro standing helpless. I really can't remember everything but my bro raped me because didn't want those fools to shoot mum. Sorry I can't continue.

Q: Sorry About that, but did you report to the police?

A: Yes, of course, but no reply till today. But we have other ways to get justice.

Q: So how did Chukudi die?

A: He hung himself on his ceiling fan after two months. I have the courage now to tell people how wicked people could be. But better still He is and always be our Hero.

The spokesman of CBN, Mr Isaac Okorafor,gave the assurance on Sunday in Lagos State.

The Naira is going to appreciate higher in the week as Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) plans to inject more Foreign Exchange (Forex) into the market to meet the requests of genuine customers.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the apex bank had so far kept to its promise of continuing to supply enough forex to guarantee liquidity in the market.

The statement said the bank was committed to ensuring that authorised dealers got sufficient supply to meet the demands of authentic customers of banks.

It disclosed that the bank had since February offered over one billion dollars to the interbank market.

The bank expressed optimism that stability had been restored to the forex market.

According to the statement, individuals can easily access forex to address personal and business allowances.

NAN reports that a summary of the CBN intervention in the interbank market over the past two months, shows the highest bid rate was N360 per dollars, while the lowest was N315 per dollar.

Twitter is had been working towards reducing abusive content that is on platform, and has made some recent updates in an effort to accomplish just that.

"During the past few weeks alone, we’ve made a number of changes on this front including updating how you can report abusive Tweets, stopping the creation of new abusive accounts, implementing safer search results, collapsing abusive or low-quality Tweets, and reducing notifications from conversations started by people you’ve block,” Twitter said in a blog post this week. “This week we’re introducing additional updates that leverage our technology to reduce abusive content, give you more tools to control your experience, and communicate more clearly about actions we take."
Twitter Official says it is working to identify accounts as they’re engaging in abusive behavior, even if this behavior hasn’t been reported!

Ever since domainking Nigeria pronounced they are experiencing technical difficulties with their system, the Indian based web hosting organization has not been able to provide services to those that paid for domain name registration, web hosting and the like.
Many websites hosted on domainking.ng are down because of their experienced "server error" and their help and support system hasn't been replying to queries and emails. The person in charge of their Facebook page has also stopped updating the page since the 10th of February.

Whilst considering the plight of existing DomainKing.ng clients, the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA) had taken a protective measure to ensure that the DomainKing.ng platform is temporarily not available for more Nigerians to make further payments so that more innocent people will not pay, register and not get the service they paid for. They've done this by redirecting the name servers away from domainking.ng portal.

So for now, no one can register nor sign in to domainking.ng.

According to a press release on NIRA website, further sanctions will be applied against DomainKing.ng by 2nd May 2017 should the company not reactivate/ attend/ respond to queries/ complaints raised by the registrants.

Unfortunately, this is not a good one for those that have not backed up nor changed the nameservers of their domain names at domainking.ng before now as the domainking login page is no longer accessible.

If you've registered a .ng domain name through domainking.ng, you can contact NIRA and they will hopefully help you with the transfer of your .ng domain names to another domain name registrar.

If you've registered a .com domain name through domainking.ng, NIRA might not be able to help you but there is a way out. I am currently working on this.

If what I read about what happened to domainking.ng is true, I just hope the Indian police will allow them to attend to their stranded customers while they contin
