Candidates for Direct Entry Admission into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka who registered with Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for 2016/2017 are invited for compulsory on-line screening.



INSTRUCTIONS FOR ON-LINE SCREENING FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a Payment Invoice which contains a Remitta number, the invoice will enable you to make payment at any Commercial Bank.
With the Payment Invoice, the candidate is requested to pay Two Thousand five hundred Naira Only (N2,500.00) application fee. Ensure that the Invoice number is keyed in appropriately at the Bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation number and Invoice Number.
Visit the University of Nigeria website (unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then access and complete the University of Nigeria 2016/2017 Direct Entry form online at unnportal.edu.ng.
Applications open on Monday 3rd October and closes on Monday 17th October 2016.
Candidates must possess the University Minimum/Departmental Entry Requirement for the courses applied for.

THE ROOM WAS UNDER LOCK WHEN STUDENTS STARTED SEEING SMOKES FROM IT,THE HAD TO BREAK THE DOOR TO QUENCH THE FIRE.

UNN UNDERGRADUATE ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION II
(ENUGU CAMPUS)
This is to inform all University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus students that the Hostel allocation process will commence on Wednesday 5th October, 2016 by 10am prompt. The process will continue until all the bed spaces are exhausted.
All students are to login to their portal and apply for hostel accommodation. There will be no concessions or room reservation. Failure to apply for a room online and make payments will amount to ‘No Accomodation’
This will be the final opening as we have limited spaces available.
The process flow is highlighted below:
1. Log in to the UNN Portal- www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng
2. Enter your username and password (Your username is your Registration Number for old students and JAMB registration number for new students).
3. Click on Hostel Allocation.
4. Click on Apply for Bed space
5. Click on Apply.
6. Print the Invoice carrying your RRR number and proceed to the bank or make payment using your ATM card.
7. Return to the portal and Click on Hostel Allocation.
8. Click on pay for your hostel and enter your Remita Retrieval Reference number.

URGENT AND VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE STOP ALL FORMS OF SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY
This is a clarion call to all Lions and Lionesses to put a hold to all forms of school fees payment immediately. Our attention has been drawn to some wrong calculations in the school fees of various students who have thus far paid. From their various calculations, the amount paid is more than what it ought to be with a difference of about N3,000.00 or more as the case may be for which there is no explanation on the school fees receipt. Based on this, we are taking necessary actions to the following effects:
1. Demand that the school fees schedule be uploaded on the university website as soon as possible as is the custom of the university.
2. That all wrong calculations on the school fees be corrected as soon as possible and the real amount updated on the student portals.
While we pursue this course, we plead with all students who are yet to pay school fees to relax and not be in a hurry to do so. However, if you have the mind and will to let go of the extra charges, feel free to go ahead with your payment.
For those who have thus far paid, we sincerely apologize for the error. We were never aware of it, and we cannot promise anything as regards a refund at the moment.
We are poised to serve you better and we are woking hard at it. Please do well to report any issues to us as soon as they are observed
