First is this: we humans, at least the intelligent ones among us, want to love your kind for what they really are. But while at it, we want to be treated fairly too. Based on my personal experience (especially due to the fact that I recently had a near-death experience and just recovered), I believe the soul exists, even though we can't see it with the naked eyes.

However, I've learnt not to trust beliefs — including mine; I prefer to know than to believe.

The soul doesn't meet these criteria. However, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I have lucid dreams regularly where I experience inner worlds (the realm of the soul). Hence, I believe it exists.
