To maintain your self respect, leave when the occasion is loudest, otherwise they will celebrate your downfall when you are forced to leave. Learn grace from Jonathan. As bad as e be, that phone call alone changed many things about him.

What you have is not respect, it's fear. I'd rather people respect me than fear me because behind me these cowards will deceive me. Respect my absence more than my presence.

I love his approach. It's very traditional. At least if he paid the prize for the bride price, he can let her family know and see for themselves. No reported speech. They see everything in 3D.

Nothing like it's because he did this and that, just see for yourself so that when they want to judge the case or use those manipulation tactics to beg their inlaw, they will remember the image of their daughter with another man who did not pay bride price but shared the prize smiley What an award!

Don't follow everything Trump says. Most are tantrums.
I wouldn't say that. The difference between him and the past is that he tells the world his plans before he goes ahead. Right now the world doesn't want to tell him Oga you need to stop this. His fan boys, like the sycophants we have here and brooding him. Someone fighting his own CBN Governor over interest rate. He's the prime example of being drunk with power and a drunk man can do whatever he likes in his state of inebriation.

Edit: Trump shared a note Rubio passed to him with the press. He wasn't supposed to read it loud but because he acts like a king, he does not take his time, he does first before he repairs any damage.

South Americans can boycott the world cup in support of Venezuela and Colombia.

EU can boycott it if he moves forward with his Greenland chargings.

Do you think the world cup will hold this year?

Disclosure: I do not endorse betting and advise you against it. Stay away from it please. It's pure gambling.

The only reason I am happy Congo can go ahead of Nigeria to the world cup is this guy. At least, he has a message to tell. He 'copied' what our SE supporters used to do in the past. It was always exciting seeing. Nigerian supporters paint their bodies and stand for hours without moving. This life eh. I commend Akor for knowing the right thing to do after he scored that goal.

Belgium will not be happy to see him at the World Cup because he will use that platform to remind the world about their atrocities.

Family › Re: I Want To Be A Wife, 48-yr- Singer Tamar Braxton. by SixSeven:
Afriifa:
The future is no longer female?
I posted a video in my last comment. One of the reasons I don't bother arguing with women and don't give a damn about whether they think my comment is pandering or not is because with time, women eventually find out the truth. Time is a beautiful patient bride for men but an ugly tortuous truth for women. I need to copyright that. Women also don't like being told the truth, so keep telling them beautiful lies if you want to make them happy.

What happens to these women is that they have to settle. It was never a competition but the system does not favor men initially, it beats them but once you clock 30, things start to change. Men who learned from the beatings will start to look good while women who didn't know time changes yesterday will wake up to the reality of a new dawn. This is why the world always tried to raise the girl child more than the boy child because men can make many mistakes and still recover. A woman's recovery is usually hard if she makes mistakes, so man overtime knew this and wanted to raise her because they knew the future isn't nice, it can be harsh.

It's often too late before women realize in their 40s that the select few men they want are either married or not interested in them because of their age. They are then susceptible to fork boys/men and younger men who are still discovering themselves and not emotionally/financially mature for them. Women know themselves, that's why it's usually difficult for mothers to accept their sons marrying an old woman say 25 yo man vs 40 yo woman. The women know themselves. Women wake up one day later in life to see they are not as beautiful as they thought and newer editions have come out. Attention has gone to the beautyful ones who are born and trending.

A man is never ugly... Buchi Emecheta

I am tired of reading AI slop and I know when it is AI. I posted something like that yesterday and the mod, nlfpmod I suspect hid the comment. Common! You can do better. Stop giving us slop. I don't know how old you are but it's not about age, some of us are well experienced in this field. Stop feeding us slop. I appreciate your own original thoughts even if it is 1 paragraph. Stop feeding slop to the FP too angry

I used ai to analyse your AI to save me time on better things. Signs of AI:

1. Highly structured aphorisms: Short, declarative lines with moral certainty (“It is order.” “It is a home.”) are common in AI-generated rhetoric.

2. Parallelism and repetition: The rhythm (“It is not… It is not… It is…”) is something AI produces very comfortably.

3. Abstract, generalized claims: No personal anecdotes, dates, or concrete experiences—just ideology-level statements.

4. Polished but impersonal tone: Strong conviction without messy human qualifiers.

Sounds like something generated to sound profound rather than something wrestled out of experience.

Men don't find men sexually attractive, unless they have a psychiatric disorder called homosexuality. You don't need to completely be a man though but once you start giving male vibes and reducing your femininity, you are one way to becoming unattractive. Even women don't like to see men behaving like them, it turns them off. There's Ying and Yang smiley

Food › Re: Stop Storing Your Food The Wrong Way by SixSeven: 10:45am On Jan 14
Love800:
But the glass will break inside the freezer na.
Great point but glass itself is stable at freezer temperatures because cold does not damage it. Breakage happens due to stress, not because it is cold. That stress comes from three main factors, 1. using non–freezer-safe glass 2. overfilling so expanding food pushes against the walls or 3. exposing the glass to sudden temperature changes.

When freezer-safe or tempered glass is used properly, it is routinely and safely used worldwide for freezing food. This is why manufacturers clearly label containers as freezer-safe and why labs and commercial kitchens rely on glass rather than plastic.

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7361538726725487915

Leave space at the top for food expansion, let hot food cool before freezing, and avoid taking frozen glass directly into hot water or a hot surface. When used correctly, glass is safer than plastic because it does not leach chemicals, absorb odors, or degrade over time.

Politics › Re: Fubara Is The Political Leader Of Rivers, We’re With Him – Peter Odili by SixSeven: 11:30pm On Jan 13
The leaders of Rivers State should all be ashamed of themselves starting with Mr Odili. This is because he was the first Governor since 1999. If they had a good system and influence, Rivers will not be in this mess. They were all products of PDP. The epitome of their failure is where for the first time since 1999, Rivers has been pulled down by the cracks within the house.

- Peter Odili - 1999-2007 (PDP)
- Celestine Omahi - 2007 (PDP)
- Rotimi Amaechi - 2007-2015 (PDP, nPDP)
- Nyesom Wike - 2015-2023 (PDP)
- Fubara - 2023-2025 (PDP); 2026 - 2027 (APC)

Every Governor after Odili has always had problems with the house of Assembly, except Wike. That state is an oil rich state that should have had institutions far beyond what other Nigerian states can dream of. Instead of that, the thing we remember Rivers State for is violence and power struggle.

That man played the same game with AD so it's not a surprise to see it. Even PDP in Lagos could not be a good opposition because they kept using them as false flag. Look at the last guy who contested for Lagos Governor for PDP last time, he moved to APC and was not ashamed to let you know he worked as a mole. You see this campaign they are running against Obi and GRV? They did it to Jimi Agbaje. In 2007, he made a good show in his first campaign with a relatively unknown party against Fashola, the next time he campaigned as a PDP man, they called him all manner of names and attached 'Ibo' to him. They already took care of PDP in 2007, they were not expecting an Agbaje to surprise them with organic votes under DPA, they took note from there and ever since then, he can't win their smear campaign. They are always using tribe to scare voters away but those who understand the game can see the fear. I wonder why people can't see this cheap pattern. APC pattern is familiar, that's why I have no pity for them when ipob or obidient give them the same medicine. They are half sides of a coin as far as I am concerned. It's giving them their own medicine. Propaganda must not be allowed to run unchallenged, if Obidients give them in the same coin, at least, it is fire for fire.

I think Obi should work with Saraki. It will neutralize the tribal games APC likes to play. He is from North Central and history has proven that he can stand his ground. I know he wanted to be president too. Obi-Saraki will be had for APC to do their tribal agenda because Saraki can play two cards. However it's good that life has humbled these people. Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwwal, Amaechi and the rest of them that worked to destroy their PDP and work with ACN/CPC/APGA to form the unholy alliance we have today called APC can see how to destroy is easy but to build is hard tongue
