ScienceWatch: Watching horror movies can gives the devil a foothold in your life. We must guard ourselves from opening doorways to the devil all the time because the devil is constantly looking for weak people to attack
(1 Peter 5: . If you open doorway to the devil, there will be a gap in your life that allow the devil to come in and attack you.The devil can jump on the viewer and possess him through the horror characters in the movies. It can produce bad influence on the viewer. The negative content from the movie can cause the person to become evil and violent. It can impose all kinds of negative influences in the person including hatred, violence, fear and etc.
It instills fear and anxiety in the viewer, which is not from God. As the children of God, we should not fear anything except the Lord. God gives us a spirit of power, love and self-discipline, not a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Any other fear comes from the devil. The Holy Spirit, which we receive as a seal of the sonship, gives us peace in our hearts (Romans 8:15).
Some people become fascinated with witchcraft in movies and practice it after watching the movies. Practicing witchcraft is a sin (Galatians 5:19 - 21). We should also abstain ourselves from watching movies that are associated with witchcraft. We must honor God in all that we do (Colossians 3:17). Watching horror movies will not increase your spiritual life so you should not watch them. Watching these movies can lead us away from God.
Instead of watching horror movies, we should watch movies that can help us to learn more about God. We should avoid reading horror genre books as well. religidiots and religitards everywhere. and there's no God anywhere! |

I think part of your disconnect comes from the English dubbing. It's ruins the experience. I know this from watching Netflix' Dark. At first, I tried watching it in English, but couldn't get into it, because of the fakeness of the lip syncing, then, I downloaded a german audio version, and voila... the rest as they say is history. true very true, tis the major reason I can never give telemumdo a chance |

JudgementHammer: Since you can think, you should have also thought of why you have to wear clothes to cover ur nakkeedness unlike animals, why u have d highest developed brain among animals and why you can't pick foods from the floor or have sex on the streets without being shy. The same proof that equates you with animals as long as labour pain is concerned, should competently equate you with them in those areas too. Your thinking is half-done just like an animal's thinking shd be.
Do you know that animals struggles to get food existed with them before God created man on d 6th day. When God created Lions and other animals in d world, they immediately begin their struggle to fight for prey and the preys with immediate sense to elude their predators. They were also created with their physiological responses to childbirth.
Man alone was d one created out of special consideration..God said now let's create man In our image and likeness, why were animals not so lucky? After creating them in his likeness, be also put them in a special garden called eden guarded by angels. They were so special, they were d only one that could talk and with the highest developed brain. In the same special way, he made them without labour pain until they brought themselves under the curse by eating the forbidden fruit as recorded in the bible and also had to be clothed unlike animals. no matter how you decorate bullshit, it'll still stink |

koice: You completely missed the point I was trying to make. I will try to elaborate further on this.
Did Walter pay for his sins, though? Not really. Sure, he died, but it was expected from the start. He had cancer, remember? Then, he went into a life of crime to provide for his family, which naturally, escalated to a full fledged drug business - the kind that can wipe out a whole family tree. He pulled a lot of sh*t that somewhere along the line, even the most obtuse of viewers must have realized that Walter ain't getting out of this alive. But, that's btw, it doesn't really matter.
What matters is this: Breaking Bad wants you to believe that if you have honest to heart motive, it's OK! Hey, you can kill a lot of people, but since you're taking BAD people out of the equation and also doing it to take care of your family, that it's all okay. That your family will be taken care of in the end. That's romanticizing crime if ever there is one. That's not real life.
Jesse wasn't the protagonist and btw, him being a wreck is insignificant because, it was expected. Ditto Skyler. Walt BIL was an FBI agent, thus, getting killed in the line of duty wasn't that peculiar.
Bottom line, Walt's family lived on - without any Witness protection program involved - without any consequences, to enjoy the wealth he accumulated, via his meth business. you know what makes a good story telling? trying to keep it as resembling to reality as possible. in real life there's not always morals to be gotten from events or actions of people. people do terrible things and get away with it everyday. majority of movies and TV already go in the direction telling stories where evil deeds have bad consequences so a few going the other way isn't wrong. o think, but still show us the things these anti-heroes sacrifice to get what they have(wealth, power). that's what makes those kinds of shows great |

LeSudAfricaine: I'm not saying you don't have other styles, I'm saying you wont go anywhere doing rock music in Naija for example, your market is not sophisticated enough. in SA a Jazz artist like Hugh Masikela is still big to this day, fills venues like the cape town jazz festival and so forth, south Africa's gospel industry is highly successful , it's artist regularly sell gold, afro soul artists like Zahara, Nathi, Lira, Zonke also sell platinum records are highly popular, House artists like Black Coffee, Culoe de Song, mi Casa, fill clubs, concerts , collaborate with international artists etc SA house is regarded as the best in the world, and you have rock bands like Prime Circle and The Partitioned doing their thing, Opera legends line Sbongile khumalo and Sibongule Mngoma still fill opera house both locally and abroad and then you have the hip hop. honestly can you compare with this? can you compare with South Africans vocally? ,can you match SA music production ethics? music videos? overall music industry structure? t he answer is No my dear don't bother, we Nigerians don't have a clue what diversity means |
