OK am a guy from Enugu .Started learning python lately and i would like to use what i have learnt into android app development

The problem is i don't know the next step forward. Some guys are saying you need to learn java others are saying you need kivy some are even saying android studio. Now i only want to start building simple android app like clock, calculator with python not java. is it possible and what programs will be needed?

Now this may sound funny but i dont know how programs written in black and white python screen turn out to be colourful like xender app.
