hub360:Pleas how much for your Rasperry pi 2 |
Great talk man, all what you have said is true, but the problem is that you can't just get on your laptop and start coding nothing; if you are thinking of making money as a programmer, that is; through your own software and products, then you need an idea that can 'fly', not just some random ideas probably copied or something. Truth: No one needs another Facebook, Whatsapp, etc. The thing is; we (Nigerian Programmers) need to think beyond the ordinary, i once heard a great/wise man (whom i can't recall his name at the moment) say that "the best way to make money is by helping others do what they cannot do".. So my advice, we need to stop thinking about our pockets all the time and start thinking of how we can use software to solve Nigeria's numerous problems. And aside that; for the abuse of our technical skilla, we need a community or something..! |
It pretty seems like the ladies here are shy, don't worry ok! We won't tell the guys you screwed.... Yea and that explains why the ladies don't have any story to share because they are actually the ones that do all the screwing... ![]() |
niqqa:Funny!, because if you should find a good girl to date, that would be one of your best dating experience and not worst, but don't get it confused because there is absolutely nothing like a better girl because at some point or the other you just have to compromise with a lot of things.. And you are actually the one who would make your partner what you want of them, that's if they are good listeners.. So drop your worst dating experience, educate others... |
The best way to learn they say is through experience, they never said it has to be your personal experience. You can learn how to manage your affairs (what to do and what not to do when in a relationship) or should i say your relationship from other peoples experiences........... Condition: No lies, keep it REAL. LET THE LECTURING BEGIN!! ![]() IT'S STORY TIME!!! |
I recently heard that one can change his/her Nigerian number to a UK number, and i think it's cool, although i know it might have to do with some level of hacking..... But who cares, cool is cool.. So please does anyone know how to do this cool stuff ? |
Craigston:Sure! you can be different that's if you want to. I like the way you reason, it's as if you reaped out everything that was in my head and said it back to me...... Well i am a bit of a beginner myself, but have created some stuffs, mostly school projects though. Well i hope to be seeing more of you .. PEACE! |
well stop laughing because it's a typographical error which i wouldn't correct, well that's that, yea and again i like the first topic you published, it's kinda cool @1bkaye |
It's actually funny that you are trying to find faults in what i wrote @1bkaye, because if it's not short-sightedness you would have realized that "art" was actually a typographical error........... read what i wrote all over again and laugh at your short-sightedness Sweetie ![]() |
All through my schooling, i and some of my folks have always discussed about the art of wanking and love making, and i realized that a lot of them kinda roll with it(wanking), but its kinda funny that some of them that actually roll with the whole act can't tolerate their girlfriend doing the same thing. So i want to hear from you guys on Nairaland, what do you think about wanking ? Between love making and wanking which do you prefer ? Please clearly state your reasons. Peace! ....... Thanks for the correction @mirexxx |

Yea... i kinda agree with you on this one "When desktop application is suggested, many persons don't think what has not been made yet" , because i totally don't know why most Nigerian programmers don't go into the desktop application creation platform, and the most annoying thing about the whole thing is that they are the ones that frequent Softonic and Google Playstore to download mobile and desktop apps designed and implemented by Programmers in other countries. One of the most disappointing part of the whole thing is that everyone keep saying bullshit like "Desktop Applications don't make waves in Nigeria", none of the big headed ignorant folks has ever asked the question "What do you want to create".. In fact i recently met with one of my Lecturers whom i really respect when it comes to logical reasoning and programming, i told him i wanted to leave the web development platform for a while and start learning java, and what he said to me was kinda a big shock to me because i was kinda expecting him to say something contrary to what a bunch of folks on Nairaland and other sites are saying, but Em fall my HAND . He told me that Desktop application development doesn't really pay in Nigeria, and a lot other stuffs that he said, and this whole thing makes me ask the questions; 1. Do we always have to love a profession because of the amount of money that it puts in our pocket? 2. Are we Nigerian trying to say that there is no Desktop application that we can develop that has never been developed? |
I have been reading a lot of stuffs on Google prescribed sites regarding the issue of web development and java programming. Well the thing is i am actually a web developer and i am beginning to love java due to the fact that you can use it to create mobile apps and a lot of other cool stuffs, which is actually where the world tech is heading to, but then i kinda get confused and discouraged when i stumble on a bunch of realistic and unrealistic things that certain people say about my dear Java. So my Question is; Why do most Nigerian Programmers prefer Web Development to Desktop Application Development(Java) ? and please what are the best6 measures to take when learning Java? .Would also love it if there is anyone who is already in the field(Java programming) who would put me through the right path and possibly send me a p.m or something. ![]() |
