I just installed red hat linux 9. The installation went fine, but wen i tried to boot to linux i got this error msg. Kernel panic: attempted to kill init!

If u have encoutered this kind of error pls do tell how u solved it.

I have been tryin to install linux on my system but the cd i bought in Cvillage was bad. the media check failed.

Am scared of that ikeja guys i don't want to go and come back from Cvillage.

Anyone here who have installed and running linux should please tell me how i can get a better one or if burn from urs.

Well i don't think because we have alot out there should stop us from developing one. Wen we start together then we can venture into developing bigger things.

www.wazobialinux.com will tell. we discussed whether NIgeria should have her own version of linux on this forum; some say it will be a waste of time while some supported the view.

Though no one knew the project was on alreeady. Here comes the birth of wazobia-linux.

I havent comment since yesterday, been busy gathering seminar materials.
well what i think we should start up by is having a repository as said earlier...  and if u know that you are very good at designing then design a template (or better still u guys could design as much as possible) then we will use one as default theme.

And again i  think we should state out the concept  we will use (OOP || procedural) then we are off.
(i suggest OOP)
I have a server to which i can host the whole thing (2gig +).
Any one that know  languages other  than php should start something.. but i suggest we make php the primary.
