Yeah, that issue can be easily sidestepped.

Even if one is doing interlock, T pipes can be installed in various strategic locations. I don't personally use chambers on my projects.

What do you do when you want to relocate your pump from one side of the building to another side?
I’ve been looking for a way to achieve this without breaking the concrete or flying wires around.

On another occasion, I needed to connect water from the borehole to a new building within the same compound.

These and many more are the many challenges of stamped concrete.

The one you don’t pray to experience is leaky plumbing pipes.
Yes sir, truly in some situations you are left with no choice but to break the floor so as to have room to do what is suppose to be done.
But yet, rather than breaking just anyhow, cutting machine can be used to cut like 0.3m space which will create a neat line and minimise cost of reinstalling.

The second point is exactly is why I settled for interlocking. If there is a plumbing problem, it will be big wahala to fix o, you have to break everything and re-concrete again. That is why there are lots of pros and cons using both method.

In as far as the pipe no compress and chambers were created at where necessary there will never be any reason to break sir.

This is stamped concrete, me I prefer it over interlock. Weed can not grow on this floor and it is aesthetically pleasing compare to interlock that you will be seeing weed growing at each joint.
Recently, I tried to convince someone to use stamp concrete but he said what if there is blockage in waste pipe underground, how will they rectify it(which I don't really know how to convince him).
I'm glad you understand the advantages of the decorative stamped floors sir.

And for the question of if there is blockage in the waste pipe;
what we do during installation of the floor is to create chambers at certain points that will enable plumbers to use a small pipe to clear the drainage i.e from one point of the chamber to another. And the chamber covers we makes use of can be lifted easily without breaking nothing just like picture below.

If that person will still be interested in having decorative stamped concrete please refer him to us, he won't regret.

Do you mind given us an example for a typical say 120sqm space how much would both cost?
It is affordable but it costs with interlock is more like double.

120sqm will cost about N720,000 in the southwest and north central region.

If my guess is right, that concept of flooring is decorative stamped concrete and for now it's the best option for outdoor flooring. Just avoid cheap and ogbonge installer/contractor and you won't regret.

There are couple of areas suitable for such investment in ilorin. In fact I will advise you come for a visit, see for yourself then select the best location of your choice. Moving around ilorin is not has hectic has lag so don't be scared of stress.

Most lawyers in ilorin will charge 10% of the amount you paid for the land.
There is also a location opposite nasfat village. About 3minutes drive from the express way where land is within the range 100k-150k.
