Geekop: So what do you suggest? If the dampness occurs at all sections of the building, it’s most likely “raising dampness” aka capillary water movement. There is no easy quick fix. In fact the solution will cost as much as renovating the whole house. I have seen it done, mostly bungalow. 1) cut open the walls around the house at the floor level about one block height 2) Do not break the existing floor 3) pour concrete on the existing flooring. 4) lay DPM all over 5 ) pour another concrete . Then tiles. However you are likely to face two problems 1) The water will start raising at the doors frames area, that is if you did not remove the doors. 2) Your head room will be shortened, if you did not remove the roof and increased the lintel level. So you see, it’s not an easy fix. But it can be done. I have seen people do it. If you have ever lived around itire/Ijesha in Surulere Lagos, this will not be new to you. |

Geekop: Sir, if you mean there's no permanent solution for dampness, then you're right. But there's treatment for wall dampness; longevity/duration may differ which is much more better than just painting. Still cosmetics. Like putting lipstick on a pig or putting bandage on an old sore. |

A normal, thin, masculine necklace would have snapped, rather than pull a grown man into an MRI scanner. Elastic limit! One thing to remember is that a body in motion remains in motion until acted upon by an external force. Just a little pull is enough to set his body in motion. |

Gotocourt: God Abeg OOO, this machine that everyone will run out of the room and leave you. That ink injection wey dey pepper for testicles. Radiation surplus for that room 😩🤦🤷. Thank God for life 🙏🙌 You are referring to a CT scan not MRI. There is no radiation from MRI . The principal is based on resonance with the proton in the water molecule of the body. The other thing you referred to as ink is called contrast. There are basically two types, barium and iodine. It is based on the high molecular weight of those elements which is much more than water. Thus producing differential attenuation . Lastly, radiation no surplus for room. Electromagnetic waves in the case of CT scan travel at the speed of light. They do not linger after the exposure. It is only during active exposure that the room is radioactive. After that, nothing anymore, so no need to fear. |

There is always a warning sign at MRI stations about metals. I wonder why he was not paying attention. MRI is magnet and will draw metal objects closer. |

Just that it will be across the Niger, so that natural boundary exempts it from being an SE state. Therefore the imbalance in geopolitical distribution will still be there, if not worst. |

If it was #180m in 2000 and now #2b, the dollar value has not really changed.
Remember that in 2000, #180m was $1.8M
Anyone that had $1.8m in the year 2000 up until now (25years) in a compound interest deposit at 5% will have about $6M
$6m today is about 9 billion Naira |

4words: Which dollar reserve will be depleted? Do you work with fintech that do dollar transaction?
People still buy and import luxury goods true Temu and using Virtual cards so that's just not an excuse.
Rather it will deprive the BDC guys of customers and when this is done, the banks will be the biggest player and would be able to drive down the exchange rate because BDC and virtual cards will be more expense and people will trust the banks more to do their heavy dollar deposits.
Again, the CBN is not going to be defending the naira with the Reserve so how will the reserve be depleted. Inflow of dollar from customers will form the basis to which the banks will sell. Pure demand and supply.
I was at a bank last week and i can count the number of people that came in to make dollar deposit. It’s a bad idea to put in place fiscal structures that encourage trade deficit. That is what this policy will do. When everyone becomes mini importers , dollar rate will increase and so will everything else. We have been through this path before. What your demand and supply argument will do is to increase price of dollar based on increasing demand. The reverse will never ever occur ( less demand for dollar). Your guess is as good as mine to what becomes of the price of most goods when this happens. |
Business › Re: International Transactions On Naira Cards Pits Banks Against FINTECHs by Skydivine: 4:50pm On Jul 14, 2025 |
This is the problem with Nigeria, inconsistent policies. Once again, the dollar reserve will be depleted from importing luxury goods.!Then tye resultant effect will spill to everything else. This will only benefit a few. What happens to raising a Form. M if you are importing goods ? |

The problem is usually the unavailability of spare part. Also, those original parts are expensive and customers don’t want to pay that much. So, they hope to pull the replacement part from an old broken phone. But most times, they can’t find it. The main thing in fixing phone is just the know how to replace bad parts. |

Going by the name Coker-Aguda, how does Aguda find itself in Surulere, if not within the geographical boundaries of its LCDA? There is no conflicting information anywhere. I lived in Aguda, Lawanson and Masha. I attended primary school first in Anjorin street, Lawanson and then Oduduwa street, Ikate. I know Surulere in and out. I know Aguda in and out and I know the boundaries. First, Surulere is not an LCDA. Surulere is LGA. |

A man tod us his own story.
He said he is currently 31yrs old. Young and Single. He said when he was 15 years old, he got a girl pregnant out of wedlock. The girl gave birth and had a baby boy. He struggled to raise the baby boy. When that boy became 15yrs old now. They called him that his 15yrs old son has now impregnated a girl out of wedlock.
The girl gave birth recently to another baby boy.
The baby boy is growing. Family members are watching.
It is well.
A true life story. This to me is not a negative pattern. There are so many people looking for children, even with their millions but can’t find. It’s a blessing to have a child and grandchildren. |
