Thank you for the contribution. I discovered it would be difficult to have a full blown tutorial on dart and flutter since I might not be able to keep up with it. That is why I decided to make the series to target people who already have base knowledge of what Flutter is about, but seek further understanding of specific concepts and want to see how they could add really cool features to their projects.

Flutter Does That - An Overview of Flutter Widgets (A Series)

I am super excited to start this “Flutter Does That” series where I demystify complex programming concepts into simple, perceptible, and comprehensible modules to aid your understanding and appreciation of these concepts. show you how you can co opt some really cool functionalities into your projects. I understand how important your time is, and so I am going to try as much as possible to go straight to the point as much as I try to cover the key areas in the lecture. Let’s begin our trip!


What is a Flutter Widget?
Widgets are the building blocks of a Flutter app’s user interface, and this is because without them, you can’t create. A widget is what holds the configuration that you provide for the user interface. You can think of Flutter widgets as a blueprint and Flutter uses these blueprints to construct the view elements behind the scenes and render them to the screen.

Flutter Apps are built by nesting widgets inside each other and this gives rise to the Widget Tree. In Flutter, a Widget Tree describes the structure of widgets inside your app.

There are loads of widgets prebuilt into the Flutter Framework that you can use out of the box, like the Text widget, Icon widget, Row widget, Column widget, Image widget, etc., to lay out your app. Each of those widgets is fully customizable, and we can pass in different properties to those widgets to alter how they display on the screen. For example, our Text widget could have a style* property to style how it looks, the textAlign* property to specify how the text should be aligned horizontally, the overflow* property to define how the visual overflow should be handled, etc. The Icon widget could also have a color* property to define the color to use when drawing the icon, a size* property to specify the size of the icon in logical pixels, etc.

It might interest you to know that all widgets in Flutter are classes, and each widget has its own programmed class which defines its behavior and how it looks on the screen. We implement the widget tree structure in Flutter by using a programming language called “Dart”. Dart is a programming language designed for client development, such as for the web and mobile apps. and can also be used to build server and desktop applications. Dart is an object-oriented, class-based programming language. For those of you who are not quite familiar with Flutter, this lecture series is called “Flutter Does That” because Flutter uses a programming language called “Dart” and I wanted to play with words a little.

Types of Flutter Widgets
There are two broad types of widgets in Flutter that I want to talk about: The Stateless widgets, and the Stateful widgets. Before I explain the widget types, let me explain what “State” is, so you can understand clearly.

State: State is information that can be read synchronously when the widget is built and might change during the lifetime of the widget. It is the responsibility of the widget implementer to ensure that the State is promptly notified when the state changes to trigger a rebuild of the user interface. State can simply be described as "whatever data you need in order to rebuild your UI at any moment in time". Flutter is declarative, this means that Flutter builds its user interface to reflect the current state of your app.

Stateless Widgets: The Stateless widgets do not require mutable state, that means they are not subject to change. A Stateless widget describes part of the user interface by building a constellation(collection) of other widgets that describe the user interface more concretely. The building process continues recursively(repeatedly) until the description of the user interface is fully concrete. Stateless widget are useful when the part of the user interface you are describing does not depend on anything other than the configuration information in the object itself and the BuildContext for the widget.

Stateful Widgets: A Stateful widget has mutable state, that means it is subject to change. This simply means the state of an app can change multiple times with different sets of variables, inputs, and data. You can change the UI of this widget without building it again with the help of the setState method. Stateful widgets are useful when the part of the user interface you are describing can change dynamically, e.g. due to having an internal clock-driven state, or depending on some system state.

I could go further to tell you how the Stateless and Stateful widgets work, show you how to use them and more, but then I have promised to break the lectures into several parts to make the learning curve interesting. I do not want to overcomplicate and inflate the “Flutter Does That” lecture series. In further lectures, I am going to explain how Flutter renders widgets, and have a breakdown of the widget tree and element. I will have very brief sections of this series where I pick up specific Flutter widgets and show you how to implement them in your project.

What you can do from here is to look up the flutter documentation and familiarize yourself with whatever you want to learn about. I am hoping to give you a smooth, yet adventurous ride as we build great features together. Cheers!

The Cross River State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the final engagement of FCMB as the official Payment Service Provider (PSP) for the Public Work Fare (PWF) component of the World Bank assisted YESSO program.
The Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr. Asu Okang who signed the MoU on behalf of the State Government said, “Yesterday 31st May 2018 was very phenomenal for me. I signed on behalf of Cross River State Government, MOU/Contract agreement for the final engagement of FCMB as the official Payment service Provider (PSP) for the Public Work Fare (PWF) component of the World Bank assisted YESSO program in our dear State.
The Commissioner further stated that the scheme will aid 5000 youths across the 18 LGAs of the state with menial jobs ranging from helping kids to cross the road, tree planting, civil security (vigilante) which they would earn the sum of 7, 500 as monthly stipend for five years.

“This signals the commencement of biometric exercise and pay rolling of our entire beneficiaries. Under the scheme, 5000 youths selected from across the State, shall be benefiting from the social support operations with the payment of 7, 500 monthly, in addition to skill acquisition for the next five years.
“Beneficiaries are only expected to work from their locations for 2hours per day, three days per week, without necessarily obstructing their regular daily activities. Meagre chores like helping kids to cross road during rush hours, at designated zebra crossing, civil security i.e. vigilante, security information sharing, tree planting etc. are some selected areas of engagement.” Asu Okang said.
He concluded by appreciating the State Governor, Senator Ben Ayade for releasing the States counterpart funds on time. “Many thanks to His Excellency, the Youth friendly Governor, Senator Ben Ayade, for the timely release of the state counterpart fund and money needed for purchase of work tools.”

A woman seated in the middle passenger seat next to the driver of a 14-seater matatu lost her life while trying to fight off an amorous matatu driver.

It emerged that the driver was drunk and he couldn't keep his hands off the dissenting woman.

According to a report by SDE on Friday, January 19, the driver lost control of the vehicle at Shikuyu near Goldmine petrol station along the Sigalagala-Butere Highway in Ikolomani and rammed a water tunnel.

The matatu then rolled several times. Three people were severely injured and were rushed to hospital.

A witness, Caroline Musanga, said she was feeding her child when she saw the matatu hit the water tunnel and went flying in the air before it landed in her compound.

"I thank God the kids were not outside or they would have been injured," said Musanga.

A survivor of the accident said the driver was reckless, drunk and kept trying to forcibly kiss the woman beside him.

"We tried warning him about his driving but he insulted us back. He even threatened to throw us out of the vehicle. You could also hear him telling the lady how much he loved her and wanted to marry her. Just before the accident, he tried to kiss the woman by force," said the survivor.

The survivors were taken to Kakmega Refferal Hospital for treatment.

ONCE A NATION, NOW AN ABATTOIR; The
Nigerian Status-quo.

Nigeria, a nation facing series
of social, political and ecomonic unrests, a nation
on the verge of loosing her territorial integrity to a
fast growing intolerance of each of her diverse
tribes of one another, (as parts of its whole
continually clamour for secession). Is now a
HUMAN ABATOIR.

The recent bigoted inhumane
killings, bloodsheds, loss of lives and properties
that's been perpetuated by various sects within the
country has continued to strain the credibility of
the one Nigeria mantra, making it a sham, a
disgraceful pretence and an effort aimed at
unifying an obviously divided whole. Creating
dissonance in the minds of anti-separatists as to
whether forcing the unity of Nigeria as one nation
is a worthwhile decision considering all the
sacrifices that's been made on a daily basis, of
Bloodsheds, deaths and pains which has become
increasingly unbearable.
From the Niger delta
militancy to boko haram insurgences and now the
most barbaric, the Fulani herdsmen attacks, the
country continually face series of threats to the
very humanity and the constituted attachment of
its citizens, not forgetting the continual violation
of her citizen's right to life.


Quickly on the recent
brutal massacres:


From the 1st till 10th of
January, death toll has risen to about a hundred in
Benue state alone as mass burial was organized
by the state governor for the victims (may their
souls rest in peace)

The Fulani herdsmen continue
to destroy lives and properties within the country
and all these the presidency seem to be oblivious
of.

Rather regrettably, Alhaji Lai Mohammed's only
concern is that the Fulani herdsmen shouldn't be
mistaken for a terrorist group like 'IPOB' saying the
fulani herdsmen "are just a gang unlike IPOB". Very
insensitive right? Even if that's the case, is that a
necessary comment when people are lamenting
their loved ones who's lives have been lost due to
attacks from the so called " just gangs" ?
Apparently he cares more about how we view a
group that slices the throats of police officers than
lives of the innocent victims. Sad!


INEC has
released the timetable for the 2019 elections and
our politicians must be polishing new set of lies
and flowery propagandas and of course token gifts
to make Nigerians vote for them.

I won't campaign
for anyone or outrightly condemn voting for
anyone. All I'm saying is: We cannot continue like
this, we cannot continue to live in an abattoir, not
knowing who's next in line to be killed or
butchered.

We cannot continue to vote for leaders
who can't guarantee the average Nigerian access to
the bare minimum requirement for sustenance.

We
cannot continue to vote for leaders who will
continually blame the previous administration for
their failures and re-flag the problems we elected
them to solve, still blaming it on a government we
voted out because we felt they (the incumbent
government) were more capable.

We cannot
continue to recycle APC and PDP, we must begin
to vote for actual competent leaders, regardless of
their affiliated political parties. Ideally We should
be able to see the 'weakest' political party winning
an election just because their flagbearer is the
most qualified.

We cannot continue to sell our
votes by receiving sachets of rice and tins of
tomatoes, in exchange for four years of our lives
and the futures of our children. Because actually,
when you give a government your vote in
exchange for their token gifts, that government is
no longer indebted to you, you have already been
paid for your votes. Thus, you lose your power to
speak out boldly when they begin to joke with your
lives.

Even if we oppose outright secession, we
cannot continue to oppose the restructuring of the
nation if this becomes the last resort to peace and
stability in our nation.

Finally, we must not
continue to relegate the responsibility of making
our society better to the government and the
government alone, we need to get actively
involved, the importance of casting our votes and
fulfilling our democratic duties, getting involved in
social discusses that can engineer positive change
by branding our ideas in a convincing and logically
progressive manner cannot be overemphasized.
We have to first be the change we want to see.

After the just concluded Pan African Universities Debate Championship (PAUDC), TAAB101 decided to stage up an Interview with the Second Best Adjudicator of the Tournament and this is how it went:


INTERVIEWER: It's a pleasure to feature you today. Tell us a little about yourself.


E. GBEVE: Emmanuel K. Gbeve is my name, let me add the Hailord, thus where I get my motivation actually. A second year accounting  student at the Islamic University College,Ghana.


INTERVIEWER: Well, So you just emerged a record breaking FIRST WEST AFRICAN to win SECOND BEST ADJUDICATOR in the PAN African Universities Debate Championship, How does it feel like?

E. GBEVE: From all my posts, all I say to friends is, _Its been The Lord since day one_ . Sincerely though this is my first time of going for The Pan African University Debate Championship,I did a whole lot of loop hole fixing, I did much personal studies and learning through the internet and had much Books in PDFs and slides from Best and Africa recognized Debaters _David Ejim, Alhadar,and many other experienced ones, So if I could talk of how it feels like, *I would say it was not a luck but a hard work and God's favour, and even if some say it's a luck, I defined luck as _when ones preparations meets an opportunity_


INTERVIEWER: What was your Initial Motivation to Debate and what has kept and Inspired you till this achievement?

E. GBEVE: My motivation for Debate was an impact from My former school Debate President _Mr Alhadar_ 

Though It's been just a year in the Debate Society, it was something good than bad to me on two different bases

*Learning while having fun with friends from all over seconding it was a place for me to share my ideas for developing humanity, the society, Africa and the entire world as a whole. 

Actually these are just some of the things that kept me up till I made it this Way.


INTERVIEWER: In your years of debating, what is the greatest obstacle you ever faced?

E. GBEVE: Faithfully it was and it is still *funding for tournaments I go to* It was the head ache. Actually I pay my registration,transportations and feed myself out of my own savings.

INTERVIEWER: Where do you see yourself in 2 years from now?

E. GBEVE: Sincerely as we are talking I've registered for the Manchester and London Debate Open 2018, So I believe with much studies and experience gathering and the same God on my side, I will be the World's Best Adjudicator.

INTERVIEWER: Great! In your everyday life, what has debating been able to do for you?

E. GBEVE: It has helped me in building a social network of good and nice friends almost all over the world.

INTERVIEWER: What is it you would like to change in the West African Debate Circuit?

E. GBEVE: As we are talking, I've just won the Recruitment Officer for West Africa under The Africa universities Debate Association, I will use this platform itself to change the Social vulnerable perception of what the society is about and will do my possible Best to get every tournament funds through application for sponsorship from Companies around West African and Beyond

I woke up from sleep late this afternoon to find this my Neighbour playing with this python Snake hanging it around his neck, i came close to take a shot when i realized the Snake was still alive, i moved back in shock and immediately shouted out to him that the Snake was still alive and he was calm and told me he knows about that already and he said they had already hit the Snake in the WEAK SPOT, that could not convince me enough to go even 5metres near a python snake, A friend helped me take the photos so i can upload.

How to Clone Any Website Using HTTrack

�Download & Install HTTrack

�Install HTTrack by typing the following in a terminal.
sudo apt-get install httrack

�When you downloaded and installed HTTrack, it placed it in the /usr/bin directory, so it should be accessible from any directory in Kali as
/usr/bin is in the PATH variable.
Lets type on the command line
httrack --help

Then

httrack The URL of the site [any options] URL Filter -O location to send copy to

points it at the website we want to copy and then direct the output (-O) to a directory on our hard drive where we want to store the website.

How to combine two Wifi Connections to get a faster Internet

You have more than one active internet connections and you are using only one at a time, while the other is resting? Don't let it be lazy. Combine them all to get combined internet speed. Say you have two connections of 1 Mbps each, you just can make 1+1=2. This can work regardless of the type of the connections, i.e. it may be wired, wireless or mobile communication.


Method 1 of 4: Combining LANs
Steps:

1. Turn everything on your computer, modems (in case of DSL).

2. Connect them on the relative ports.

3. Establish Connections. Dial or do whatever you need to do to establish an Internet connection and test each one by one separately. If all good proceed to the next step.

4. While each one is active and connected, navigate to the "Network Devices" folder of your computer. It usually stays under control panel.

Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, press Windows D to navigate to the desktop, and the rest is the same as windows 7 below.

For Windows 7 and Vista, Click the network icon on the task bar-> then click \ Open Network and Sharing Center\ . Then click \ Change Adapter settings\

5. Review the Connections. Review the window showing all of your network connections.

6. Drag and select. Drag and select Active LAN (Wired, Wireless or DSL Modem) connections.

7. Right click on one of the selected-> click "Bridge Connections." Then wait and a network bridge with different icon will appear. You might have to provide administrative right.



*Method 2 of 4: Load Balancing*
If you connect 2 internet connection to Windows at a time, the operating system automatically selects one connection as primary and uses others as as failover connection mode. You can force Windows 7, 8 to use both connections simultaneously using a simple trick.

Steps:

►Open Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings

►Go to properties of any of your active Internet connection whether it be LAN, WiFi or 3G/4G.

►Select Internet Protocol TCP/IP Version 4, Open its properties, then go to advanced.

►Uncheck the Automatic Metric and type “15”.

►Repeat same steps on other Internet connections you want to combine.

►Restart your Computer.




Method 3 of 4:Using Connectify Hotspot
Steps:

►Download the Connectify Dispatch

►Install the Dispatch software.

►Run. Then click "Start Dispatch".

►Connect all your modems or network connections




Method 4 of 4: Using Speedify
Steps:
