One more thing, I don't know what myth-busters did to 'bust' the 'myth' about Coke, but like I said, I've tried a few of those things and they did indeed happen. So there's proof right there that myth-busters is deceptive. Go ahead, try some of those things yourself and see. If you don't want to use a slab of meat, get a tooth or chicken bone or something, leave it in the Coke for a few days, it will be gone. This is just fact. So, looks like the real myth here is myth-busters, eh? I'd like to see them get busted.

I can understand why people wouldn't want to believe that Coke and other sodas are so harmful, or that shows on TV that are supposed to be real and trusted are lying to you. Coke's been around forever, people love it, it's addicting. And we're supposed to take what we see on TV as fact, right. Well, don't. Even most of the news is just lies. I'm not just saying this as my opinion. I know these things because I have been right there involved in them.

So, just don't believe everything you see, or everything you're supposed to believe.

I'm saying that networks and shows on tv make their money from the commercials on that channel. If one of those commercials happens to be Coke, then it's likely that myth-busters, a show on a network that is getting paid by Coke, isn't going to make Coke look bad. It happens, everywhere.

If myth-busters is sponspored by Coke or any other soda company, or any company for that matter whose 'myths' they're trying to 'bust', then of course it is going to provide false evidence. Think about it, if you were paid massive amounts of money by someone, you wouldn't rat on them. Watch myth-busters and next time pay attention to the commercials - not just during myth-busters but during any show on that same channel (Discovery, right?). If there are any Coke or soft drink commercials, you can pretty much bet that they're going to bust this myth.

I read somewhere else that if you put a T-Bone steak in a bowl of Coke, it'll be gone in a couple days.  I tried this, and IT IS TRUE.  I also tried the thing about loosening a bolt, and it worked also.

It's the phosphoric acid, yes, but also, there are about 15,000 ingredients that all commercial products are not required to identify in the ingredient list, so who knows what kind of sh*t is floating around in there.  Maybe this explains why Coke and generic colas appear to have the exact same ingredients, yet they taste completely different.

To the person who asked why we're still alive after all these years of drinking Coke : our bodies apparently have amazing healing and rejuvenating powers.  A piece of steak or a slab of pork is dead tissue, that's why it's able to easily dissolve.  But our body is living, living tissues, and our liver, which manages to carry out much of the toxins.  BUT, look at how much the rate and severity of all the diseases has gone up over the years (particularly, in this case, osteoporosis and diabetes).  And I'm sure Coke and other soft drinks are not solely responsible for this, but Americans do consume more soft drinks and junk food, and take more medications, than they did decades ago.  So, even though it won't kill you instantly, it will f*** you up.
