Donarozzi: If you underrate any part of Igboland, you are underrating yourself. Ikwerre is Igbo, and all sections of Igboland have equal intelligence, equal capacity, and equal power of the mind to reach any height in all areas of human imagination. Things change, and change happens so fast. What makes a man is not necessarily an in-born ability, rather, it is a combination of all sorts of traits, especially motivation, environmental and psychological situations, level of focus, and conditions that stimulate competition. In philosophy, we talk of "a priori" and "a posteriori" abilities. We can call Nikola Tesla a natural born genius (a priori), but we must also remember that his universal inventiveness was triggered by his diligence, academic experience, and life situations (a posteriori). All men are created equal, but what differentiates men are choice, diligence, discipline, motivation, and environmental situations. Igbo people say, "Onye kwe, Chi ya ekwe" (When a person truly agrees that he can achieve a certain level, his inner spirit will also agree that that level is achievable). So, we the Igbo people should refrain from intracommunal skirmishes and look towards achieving stability and progress as a whole, agreeing that we can do so collectively, and not degrading each other and tearing each other down. And for some misguided Ikwerre people and some other Igbo communities who are still denying their Igbo identity, I challenge you to look deep and ask yourself certain questions. When the world sees you as Igbo and other sections of Igboland embrace you as part of them, and you still deny your identity, you are just acting uncivilized and making yourself a laughing stock before the whole world. Brother, downgrading others is not my thing. Why should I? While Igbos try to bring Ikwerre into the fold the Ikwerre subgroup make it a point of duty to insult brothers in the nastiest way imaginable. They even wish us harm. Hasi aru gbaro afo, oburu omenala...this evil of denying Igbo and wishing us harm has become a normal practice for them. My brother,in Nigeria where we're being persecuted it hurts to still have backstabbers in our mist, though I don't care if they agree to being Igbo or not. I'm at a stage where i hope every body who wishes Igbo harm drops dead, including Ikwerre people.Thanks. God bless |

The reason Ikwerre can never be Igbo is because Igbos are hardworking, intelligent people. An Igbo family can never tolerate a son in the family roaming the streets like a vagabond. if Papa/Mama doesn't talk sense into him,Aunty/Uncle will. But look at Ikwerre-Vagabond cultist poor dirty tribe with useless sons everywhere. Na this people won compare with Igbo? hahahaaahah. You guys are underachieving learners |

The truth is that majority of them harbour deep unrepentant hatred for Ndiigbo, built on irrational accusations and illogical conclusions.
From hence forth, every single iota of their hatred against Ndiigbo, I will return to them ten folds and more. Bro trust me I tend to your argument... I'm just restraining myself...only on NL. I mean, look at it,if I want to attack Ikwerre I've got LOADS to thrash them with. Lemme just chill tho' |

Bigmills and lacasera no get yarns. See as Ada hold them scatter. Ikwerre in actuality are chronic under-achievers. Their youths are so lazy and prefer cultism. If not for some sensible Ikwerre here I would given this peeps a redefinition of "bashing". But really,my Igbo brethren leave this people, accept the ones who have sense and accept being Igbo-Ndoki,Etche. Leave this cultist underachievers to go,they don't add ANYTHING to the greater Igbo nation. LEAVE THEM!! |

The amount of hatred those peeps have for Ndiigbo had no part 2 , I was amazed at the kind of things I was seeing there. From now onwards, I had decided to return their hatred back to them 4 folds. That last statement-1,000,000 likes |

lyricalpontiff: [s]I am Ikwerre and this is the daftest article I have read all year long. Obio/Akpo LGA is richer and bigger than Ebonyi state. Ikwerres have similarities in names and language but our culture is different from that of the Igbos even our traditions and identity. We have different history, we mixed up with the igbos due to trade. Our real identity is "iwuruoha". It's the white man that caused most of this things. They made aba the capital of our region make most headquarters of business and corporation reside there and made an igbo man mayor of Portharcourt. That's why almost all the streets in Diobu are igbo names. I have personally discussed with Sir Elechi Amadi and he told me a lot including why we supported Nigeria. I'm from Ogbakiri and we have no trace of origin from igbos. We can bear the same names or even speak the same language but we have our different traditions and identity. Please don't kill yourself over this, Ikwerres will never want to associate themselves with igbos,[/s] we have this superior feeling that we better than the igbos, hence the laziness in our people. Bye hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I was okay with the thrash you wrote until that statement in bold. Horseshittt!!! Superior my foot!!! |

Segmentation and Fragmentation of Igbo people coupled with unrelenting propaganda to promote hatred among brothers,is the cause of all these. Starting from Gowon down to Obasanjo et al Igbos have been systematically fragmented into Benue,Kogi,Edo,Bayelsa,Cross-Rivers where they suffer minority status. This has left the Igbos divided and suspicious of each other... But one day, wene will unite with nwanne and differences will be forgotten. God is not asleep. |

jonhemma11: RIVERS STATE IS SAFE FOR INVESTMENT --Governor Wike
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that despite the security challenges facing the Niger Delta , Rivers State is peaceful for investments.
The governor also called on the United Kingdom to partner with the Rivers State Government in the areas of Agriculture and Vocational Education for the generation of employment. The Government of the United Kingdom also declared that they will partner with the Rivers State Government in the area of youth empowerment.
He spoke at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Wednesday when he received the High Commissioner of United Kingdom to Nigeria, Mr Paul Arkwright. He explained that strategies have been put in place for the enhancement of the security across the state; pointing out that the State and Federal Governments have taken relevant steps to address the challenges posed by militancy in the Niger Delta.
He said that the meeting between Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, Niger Delta Governors and the Military High Command mapped out critical measures, including opening up of dialogue channels with the Niger Delta Avengers to resolve recent security challenges.
He blamed the cult related conflicts in the state on oil companies that patronise cult groups to secure their pipelines, instead of working with security agencies. He said such patronage leads to supremacy conflicts between cult groups.
He informed the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom that a particular oil company is responsible for empowering the cult groups, noting that the matter is being addressed.
Governor Wike called on the Government of the United Kingdom to partner with the state to generate mass employment and enhance economic growth. "We want to partner with the Government of the United Kingdom in the agricultural sector to create jobs for our unemployed youths. Government will continue to create a secure environment to improve the environment for Agriculture. The Mexicans are already here investing in agriculture.
"We also need partnership in the area of vocational education to also create job opportunities for our youths", he said. In his remarks, the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Nigeria, Mr Paul Arkwright said that the relationship between the United Kingdom and Rivers State will be deepened.
He said that he was in the state to get first hand knowledge of developments in the state to identify areas of collaboration. The governor later led the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom on an inspection of the remodeling of the Brick House and the Chapel within the premises of the Government House, Port Harcourt.

Source: http://www.trezzyblog.com/2016/06/rivers-state-is-safe-for.html @bolded. Wike no dey shame. he has the mind to tell the commissioner an oil company is behind the cult killings. So if the stupid man knows all this what is he doing to curb this acts of cult killings. Everyday people are beheaded in rivers and this baboon man is doing nothing because he's a grand patron in one of this cults. chai!!! |
