As i was walking sluggishly home today after job hunting, i stumbled upon this church programme.
I couldn't help but to take a picture so that i can show my nairaland family in order to get ur view on this. Certain things came into my mind as i took the shot.

1. Are people no longer afraid of the military

2. Is it that the military are ignorant about this

3. Are people still this gullible?

Abeg my fellow nairalanders whats ur take on this.

I just wish military personels visit that church on the day of the programme come kane d pastor for pulpit in feont of full church.

On Tuesday 13th Oct at about 7.45pm, I received a call from a friend's friend i sent my cv too few weeks back. He has if I could be at their office the next 9am, I obliged and na so I go dust my suit, shine my shoe ooo.

I set out the next day few mins before 7am, I was soaked by the rain till I got to the office at 8.45am the next day which was Wednesday. While I was waiting to board the last bus at Oshodi, i stood under an umbrella waiting for the rain to reduce in intencity, while waiting I started hearing "egbon 75 ma drop, pelu 85' hmmm, na so me too add my own digits involve myself.

Back to my story. As soon as I saw the guy that called me, asked me few questions, do you smoke, do you drink, can you drive, have you done sales job before, what are you doing currently, do you have a drivers license.. After answering all these questions, he told me to proceed to the conference room. Next thing, I was given a serious test, I was like "waris dis, i never experrerit" gmat questions oo.

30-35 questions or so, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning etc etc.. to finish under 45mins. I did all I could do ooo,. Afterwards, he asked if I am still going to attend my CCNA class today, I responded with yes and he told me to wait for at least an hour for his boss to come around. I had no choice than to wait. 1hr, 2hrs, 3hrs, 4hrs...

But I didn't feel the delay because I was busy watching the ministerial screening on NTA. I learnt alot while watching though. Finally the boss came, and I had to go see him 30mins after he came. Na so the film start.

He took my test script and cv, he looked at me and asked me to tell him about myself, I started out, the md interrupted me , he was like, I scored 24%, and you studied physics. He started hitting out at me. I was quiet, was just looking when one of his staff interrupted. After the interruption, he said I should continue, I politely told him that he was still talking. He asked me to tell him about myself again and also tell him what I was currently doing. hmm na so I start again ooo, I am currently studying CCNA, he interrupted again whats CCNA, see ooo (MD of a coy asking me what CCNA is). I told him and I was trying to tell him the times I receive lectures, then he cuts in again.

Oga wa yari tan ooo, he told me i can go to my lectures and that when I have time I should come back.. I tried calming him but he said no problem. Na so our two stand up, ooo.. I carried my bag i started coming back to festac..

My friends, one thing I noticed is, I didn't feel any remorse after what i said. I know I am not supposed to say such but I didn't feel any regret saying it.

Please my fellow night crawlers, tell me were I have gone wrong. Bashing is allowed, I believe alot of people will learn from my experience.

The Job is a sales job of 45k to 50k monthly wages according to info I heard and it’s a brand and marketing company.

Thanks for your comment but I want to correct your notion. Although you said it lacks the vibe to qualify for a theme song as it didn't lift your spirit. Hope i'm right?
Now if you had followed last year's competition, you'd discover that even the winner did an acapella song, the 1st runner up did a reggae. In the area of rhyme, it is not a criteria that every song must have rhymes in theme altho u were not attentive, there are some element of rhymes and rythm in them.
Lastly, it sounds like an advert to you lol. Well noted but those are the required words for a theme song.

Well thanks, i know what i meant wen i said it sounds like a jingle. Pls try and download theme songs from olympics, world cup, and so on and then observe the elements of the songs. Ur theme song should be able to last a life time. U shouldn't have added the date on the song. And the way you switch tempos within d song made it sound amateur. Am not condemning your effort oh. But if i was to judge, those are the things i would observe. I would really love you to win it. U can start creating a back up theme song. And do certain adjustments am telling you, with a lil correction this ur theme song would b a bang! Include some element of some local african sounds in the beat . I would prefer u make a beat that sounds like these south african zulu kind of sound...if you know what i mean. With ululations and soft bass of native drums and a bass rythm background. I wish you could understand what i mean sha.
