My favorite males for now are

Yeayyyy!! Finally, I found a thread on BBN smiley smiley.

My favourites for now, in descending order:

• Erica - I just love everything about her; cheerful, charming with the cutest of smiles kiss. She needs to carry herself more gracefully.

• Dorathy - Bubbly, confident, fun to watch with a great personality. A fan, I stan kiss.

• Nengi - I’ve known her from my UNIPORT days. I like that she’s calm (always been) and focused. I hope she handles this “Ozo situation” well (young man looks very confused sad) as her confident level is shaky.

• Laycon - A typical example of “do not judge a book by it’s cover.” Sweet to watch and listen to.

• Praise - Bubbly, sweet soul. I like that he is a dancer and free spirited.

• TolaniBaj - There is something about her that I am yet to unravel. She needs to loosen up a bit and catch fun.

• Wathoni - Sweet, calm and charming.

This educative thread came in timely. Well done @AlphaHandMaiden for putting this up especially for FTMs like us. My DS will be 5 months by August and I am a step ahead on options to try when he finally hits 6 months.

To the contributors with practical explanations, thank you.

Good morning Mamas

Pls, Has anyone use chloryx-G® Gel for umbilical cord on their newborn? Did you continue applying it after the stump fall... How long did you use? Been to hospital, doc said i shld continue applying untill the navel heal. Now, Seems its overreacting on my baby's skin.. dont know what to do. Or Am I not doing it right? Please advice me. Thank you

My mum used it for my son as that was what the hospital recommend and gave us. His stump fell off on Day 6 and we discontinued. Instead, she used original blue seal Vaseline on the navel area until it healed.

That's okay by me. I am only stating what I read so mamas who have it in mind should know to take it in moderation as you have now noted. One love.
Well stated dear.

Please I read somewhere that liver is not recommended in pregnancy as it contains a high amounts of a particular vitamin A that can cause defects in baby.
It is Preformed Vitamin A that is found in most animal products (eggs, milk, liver etc). Eating foods like these once or twice a month wouldn’t hurt as the thing about eating in pregnancy is “moderation.”

Also, aside liver, there are other meat options that can easily be substituted.

BTW, liver was recommended for me around my Week 35 as I noticed my PCV dropped from 42% to 37%. It wasn’t and still isn’t one of my choices.

N/B: Most defects in developing babies usually happens around the first months of pregnancy, say first trimester.

- Beans

- Beef and organ meat (Liver & Kidney)

- Fish & Poultry

- Iron fortified nuts (Cashews, Almonds etc)
