Dear nairalanders,

Trust this meets you well.

I wish to share all I know or have passed through concerning NIS. About 5 months ago, my contact in NIS asked me to write an application and addressed it to the CG stating that I took part in the March 15, 2014 recruitment exercise. I was also asked to submit duplicate of all my credentials. I did all these about five months ago.
Ever since then, all he has been telling me is that I should hold on that everything will be perfected and appointment letter will be issued before election.
Few days ago, he updated me concerning the process. He said I should get a two self addressed envelopes with 50 naira stamp each and send to him along with my LGA. Well, I have done that.
Now, this week, he called again and said my original credentials will be needed(I am very skeptical here) for verification. In fact, he said it must be submitted this week. If I must submit them, it will be coloured photocopies.
I am confused here because I see no reason why i should submit my original credentials and not duplicates. Honestly, I do not even know if everything is real or not. Each time I make enquiries from friends of mine in Abuja they are not always sure of the information I do pass across.
My fear is, he said he will send one of his boys to take the credentials to Abuja and he will be there for the next two weeks so that he can monitor the process to the end. He is now asking me to pay the fare of the person to and fro including accommodation. But the questions are: why will an officer leave his job for two weeks to go stay in Abuja for two weeks? Why will I be asked to bring my ORIGINAL credential (not just for sightseeing but to be with him or them for two weeks)? Why is he asking ONLY me to pay when I am not sure I am the only candidate (maybe he is asking others to do same)?
So guys, if possible, kindly confirm this and relay it to the house.
dnt give ur original credentials to any body to go smewhere else wit it wit out you being dia. Lets assume u succeded in geting d job wit ur original credentials in his hand he can claim ur appointment letter, either denied u of it or ask u to pay an unimaginabl sum of money to collect d appointment letter

Only shortlisted candidates that got the cut off points in the first CBT will be invited for the second one. Its all in a bid to reduce the number as PTI will only recruiting less than 100 people in total.
wel i am nt sure, bcoz tp is involve nd psin knw we ar applicant. Mind u,fed gov job has to reflect sme lay down fed character principle,so i am of the opinion selecting frm states or zone of candidate wil nt b an issue here that would warrant 2nd cbt.

I don't have any AGENT, tho...the last info I received from my former landlady who happens to be an immigration officer... Said everything about NIS recruitment isn't clear...that the people incharge of the recruitment I.e the board are hiding infos...that there isn't any genuine info about NIS for now....But she did told my friend whom she's helping that the it'll be out after election...
.
.
She said...that the people involve aren't with their private phones...that they can't be reached..she had tried calling about two people she worked with when she was at Abuja before her transfer, it hasn't been reachable for months now.
.
.
Although, I parked out of the compound last year november...so I don't have a recent info...

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Access Bank Calling For Aptitude Test (entry-level) (2014) by Slexd: 12:30pm On Jan 12, 2015
Philadelphia:

Not totally true. You're given targets if you're in marketing department (that's certain) but you may be in operations and yet be given targets which may be less burdensome than the other who finds him/herself in marketing. Also, you may be running from marketing and find yourself in funds transfer or customer service. Don't be too happy yet because your target will eventually come. It may be quarterly, per 6 months or annually.
To be frank, you have to be on your toes (always) at Access Bank. Don't be deceived by what you saw at the headquarter at plot 999 Danmole street. The headquarter is a better place but still, you'll have targets. Some Access employees left for Sterling bank. Though they pay lesser there ( above 150k. So I heard but I'm not sure of the exact amount). A friend of mine works at one of their branches in Benin. Remember I said earlier "At Access, whatever you do, be wise in your decision". I still mean it. The fat pay you receive comes with sacrifices to be made. Diamond pays within that range but there is a slight difference in work conditions there. I'm not saying Diamond is better or vice versa.
I won't make any decision for anyone wishing to work with Access, because the situation one finds himself in a country determines so many things.
When I was at the headquarter (Lagos), I saw the faces of some candidates waiting to be interviewed but in their midst was a more confident and matured young guy. I excused him and talked with him after listening to him give the candidates some information about what to expect at their final interview. After discussing with him, he said "he once worked with Access Bank". Looking into his eyes as he said that, I could guess the reason he left.
Once again, this information I'm giving you here is 100% free and it contains less than 0.00000001% error. Make your decisions with it. Please say me well to Chika, and tell her i miss her cute smiles wink. She is a beauty. Though we saw ourselves last year December before Christmas. If you are lucky to work at the headquarter, make Chika, Ife, Ade and Tomi your friends. You'll thank me later.
.i am looking for job. I dnt have any at d moment.can u assist?

I implore everyone in the house to put politics aside and focuse on our aim of being in this thread. Meanwhile, even in a village setting, ordinary Village chairman/Leader, some people will be castigating him while others will be commending him for the work he has done in his village. So GEJ is not exempted to be castigated. Jesus Christ died for our sins, but upon that, some people are worshiping idol. In the history of the world, there is no leader from any country who got 100% commendation. You must have friends and foes. But it's Only God that has the final say of our deeds here on earth. And for those who are waiting for GEJ to do everything for them, bear in mind that there is a governor in your state, there is also a Local government chairman in your LGA, there is also a councilor and traditional ruler in your community. What have they done to curb the menace of insecurity in your various places? I could remember what happened when I visited Aba in Abia state, there was series of kidnapping every blessed day, but the Governor of Abia state did a very good job by apprehending the kidnappers with the help of security operatives and killing them all. He warned all the traditional rulers and local government chairmen that if the issue of kidnapping take place again anywhere in Abia state, both the L.G.A chairman and traditional ruler of that particular area will be sacked. And today, come to Abia state, you will never hear any form of kidnapping. So please, let's not expect GEJ to come down from Aso Rock to catch Boko Haram for us or do some other things you have listed. Let your governors make a move. Because they are constantly receiving federal allocation to do the necessary things that need to be done in your states.
I'm not in any way politically, religiously or regionally/tribally related to GEJ, but I must say the truth as it should be.

Happy new year friends
.wel thats ur own opinion,bt u must equaly knw dat castigating gej is a most,Nigeria is gradualy sinking nd at dis tym he is d C-in-c, u want me to look at my chairmen nd state governors wen i knw d hav jst little to contribute wit rgards security.wel dat is wia d qustn of incapability comes in. Remember in his swearing to defend life nd property, Nd nw he is incapable,is he nt to gve chance to oda people dat can do it? Or do u want us to keep mute while we continue sinking?d worse part is dat dis is democracy,bt wen pple speak d truth abt d state of d nation, even d president himself perceiv dem as his enermies, instead of capitalising nd making correctns.nawao dis situatn we find our selvs...

Brother....you're not making any sense!!!
.
The stampede, although killed most of the applicant wasn't by any means to be channeled to anybody... It could have been as a result of stubbornness by the applicants.....in my center, we had many pregnant women who survived the stampede...but it was clearly stated that no woman should come with any form of pregnancy......I was flogged and my wrist watch got dismantled... But I entered the premises with a dubious means...what if I had died in the process? Wasn't it my fault? I refused to follow the line...
.
.
Buhari isn't telling you the truth either.....he wants to bring changes into the country..but he will demand for a ransom if the government counter's his words...he will ask for ransom if any fulani is killed... Why is he so desperate to rule? Why? He's very aggressive at his age! He's tasty for money... And you think he'll do anything better than GEJ? Men you need to make use of ur brain!
. Lol u jst spoke like d unguided moro who nva admitd he was faulty at d first place. Mis management was d reason y u broke d rule and entrd tru d back door. If at all dia was a level playing ground and altinz being equal, would such dat u jst claimd like abbah moro happend. In my centre an exams that was meant to start 8am startd 2pm,wat was the meaning of that.to me it was cospiracy jst to cause anxiety and desperation and d result was wat u saw. And wit regards to buhari i knw many of our graduate hav no good historical background. We alway base our arguement on dem sey- dem sey. I will urge u to go back to history and trace buhariz records and achievement or u can google it. records does nt lie.keep ethnicity, regional and religious differences aside u wil understand wat i mean. and Stop listening to pdp cheap black mail. D hav ruin Nigeria. 16yrs ntin to show 4it.
