The Urhobos were never part of the war. It was strictly between Ijaws and Itsekiris. If the Urhobos had fought along side the Ijaws, the Itsekiris would have been wiped out of existence in that Warri. So don't talk what you don't know. Go online and do research before you comment on public forum.

You have problem with comprehension. Every country and community have festivals. Even Lagos mainland has it's Eyo festival. There are various ethnic festivals also in Nigeria, but none of these festivals restrict movement in a metropolitan city. Rather, dates are set aside to observe this festivals. But what Ikorodu is doing is not festival, it's blood thirsty traditional ritual rite. In modern society, it's only the state that has the power to restrict movement. But because Ikorodu doesn't aspire to be an industrialized community with various developments, they continue to live in archaic and primitive way of life whereby potential investors are scared to do business or live there. Instead of you to read to understand, some of you are quick to comment and bring in your stupid tribal bigotry. You wey go school pass....well done sir.

Yet they keep asking for industrialization and development in Ikorodu. How can a city restrict movement within bustling period in a metropolitan city like Lagos? People wakes up as early as 4am to go to work....and also get home as late as 11pm from work. All these kind of traditional ceremonies should be restricted to villages. Oga, Russia, North korea, China or any other country is not in military ally with Iran. These countries are just good friends of Iran that can only assist Iran with providing them weapons and intelligence, but they will never ever attack the US or Israel directly because Iran was attacked. If the US attack Iran today, nothing else will happen.

Gaza was initially peaceful, they were moving freely and were living fine....courtesy of Israel supplying them free water and electricity. So what could have prompted the October 7th attack? It's the UN that settled Israel there. We have not heard of Israel bullying until the incident of October 7th, 2023 took place where Hamas (sponsored by Iran) invaded Israel, killed their citizens and kidnapped the others. Everybody were living peacefully until that incident happened. That singular act brought out the monster in Israel that we all are seeing today. Israel is not afraid of other nations having nuclear weapon. After all Pakistan has nuclear weapon....and Israel is not bothered.

In as much as Israel is to be blamed for attacking Iran unprovoked, we should also put into consideration that Israel are fighting for their survival. It wouldn't have been wrong for Iran to develop their own nuclear weapon, but the motive behind it is the problem. Iran has always inscribed it in their doctrines to annihilate Israel. Iran is known and hated by other moderate Islamic countries as terrorists sponsor. Iran is gradually and almost getting uranium enriched to a nuclear weapon stage and if left unchecked, Israel will be living in a higher threat and fear. Other countries with nuclear weapons are peaceful nations, but Iran is a radical jihadist nation. Israel had to take this action for sustain their existence in that middle east. Any nation that has the will like Israel would have done the same, attacking Iran.

But now, the reality from the woken class of the other tribes have come to play in this 21st century....and they are set to take back what has been robbed off from them all these years. The Olu of warri ought to have been the Olu of itsekiri where they are mostly dominated in the warri axis. The old ward delineation was crookedly and politically influenced by the Itsekiri to their favour. Infact, of all the tribes in Warri, the Itsekiri are the least populated, hence they are minority. Have you ever seen a minority tribe claiming ownership to a particular place before. The moment of truth is here and the Itsekiris have to wake up from their slumber.

Why won't he work against his party? Would you have supported the idea of Atiku, a fulani man ruling for another 8 years after Buhari, a fulani man just finished 8 years? This delineation has nothing to do with who owns warri. The various tribes can keep arguing for who really owns warri, but delineation means giving voting advantage and representation tribes that are more populated in a particular axis of the warri. Overall, the itsekiris are more dominant in population as I was told. I don't know how true, but I guess they are not so in some axis of the warri.

If you have a successful and growing business in Lagos, you can't afford not to openly support Tinubu....even though your mind doesn't really support him. It's a strategy so as to be noticed by the presidential cabals and caucus. Wisdom!

Police only act when families of influential Nigerians are kidnapped. Nigeria police are for those who can afford to pay their exorbitant charges when one reports a case of kidnapping to them. They will ask you to pay tracking fee. They will ask you to pay for logistics. They will ask you to pay for mobilization. And even ask you to pay for extra bullets for their guns. At the end of the day, a common citizen will part with over N5 million to the police....even without the assurance that your loved one will be rescued at the end of the day. Please if you have the ransom money to rescue your loved ones, go and do the needful.

Bro, most Nigerians won't be able to afford electricity if it is fully privatized. The problem is that Most Nigerians don't have strong purchasing powers as a result of inflated economy. People can no longer afford the basic things of life due to bad governments. Hence, NEPA is partially privatized unlike Nitel. The Discos and Gencos are doing their parts very well, but the government still retains 100% ownership of the transmission company of Nigeria (TCN) which is in charge of transmitting the power generated by the Gencos. And that is where the problem is. The govt also controls regulation and pricing because if NEPA is fully privatized, common citizens won't be able to afford electricity. Other smaller countries with stable electricity pay higher than Nigeria if you do the currency conversion. The government had to still be in the picture paying subsidy and controlling pricing so as to be fair to the citizens.
