Sometimes, good things comes in small packs and your ability to showcase yourself really is what can count when it matter most.

Like play as it was was a post needing a website designer by a coy on the Island on 21st July or so and I just tried our like any other ones I've seen before and unsuccessfully secured or some young chaps wanting a 50k job for 5k which I don't even care about their pleas afterwards.

Upon sending my CV as requested, I got invited on Saturday for the interview on Tuesday and the rest is history now.

One weird thing about the week in question is that I got 3 offers that week and have to choose between all for this with one still able to go on on part time with one of the three and it's just my 2nd week of relocating back to Lagos from PH.

Before then, I have been seeing testimonies from a few on how they did get something but I never knew mine is close by and this is even the 2nd time I'm getting something so reasonable via Nairaland to the worth of 6 figures.

Seun in particular, I wish I can repay you at least but if not, you'll never lack either in all you do because this platform has really boosted my skills learnt so far. Even if it's Nairaland ads, I'll run it all for you for the least I can do. Let me know the account details for this so Lalasticlala and Mynd44 too can be happy at least.

I have been busy.

When i opened a thread on giving some stipends to students,i specifically instructed that the names i picked will be made available last week Tuesday.

On that Tuesday,the names were made available and instructions were given that accounts informations should be made available on or before 9-AM the next day.

Out of the 10 i picked. 7 brought their account info and have been credited(go through the thread to read their thank you)and 3 did not get back with their info until their own time when it was past the deadline days later.

Unfortunately that is not how things work,as i will not wait for you. People should learn to respect simple instructions and other peoples time too.

I selected some people to send their acct info to me today.

Bro pls forgive. There are some things dat is above us. Truth be told, it isnt easy but blogging about your passion is really fun. I started blogging on the 5th Of this month.

Though i am using free blogger platform which has .com, but the blog has really progress alot. Within one week and three days of blogging, i have 3.1k users and 6.8k pageviews, up to 15 comments.

I have also recieve alot of mail by students requestin for advice. I am really happy i have making impact to nigerian students. I do get my traffic from facebook groups. I am only lacking one thing which is the template.

Though the template of my blog is a neat one but i need someone to help me wit a professional template. As for the sub domain, i am planning to buy a custom domain when i have some cash.

Guys pls , good people, I hv tried punting to know if I can solve my problem but cannot. Am a student of HND1 studying Town planning (URP) in fed poly Oko. We are starting our designs which requires laptop computer. The one I have is badly damaged. The screen, keyboard and cd ROM are not working, the battery wen I was still using it last few minutes unless it is plugged directly to source of power. My plea is this if anyone have spare laptop to give away, I will mostly appreciate that, or help me raise the money to effect the repair of my own. Pls nothing is too small. Who u help today may help you tomorrow. Don't say you don't know me, you can check me out and know if I hv ever begged something on Nairaland. Pls we are starting the design on Monday.
