Obi doesn't owe anybody anything... He is a private citizen and reserve the right to do as he pleases.

People that can't demand good governance from their elected criminals are making demands on OBI.

What is to like in a party that has thrown nigierans into multi dimensional poverty, double recession, hyper inflation, acute insecurity and worst of all a dunderhead as president?

I have not seen a single government department, industry, or project owned by the federal or state governments that works. Nigeria would be better off without a government.

SA has a coalition government of 10 political parties with 32 ministries, while Nigeria has 49 ministries and can't even operate refineries or shipping ports. I don't see any way out of this mess beyond street protest and revolt.

There's absolutely no other way. The devil is not just gonna stop tormenting you out of love, you ve got to get up and vehemently put a stop to that nonsense, else will remain his slave for ever

When a country is poor, the focus is on productive industries and services.

Poor people want to work themselves out of poverty; hence, investment technology parks are more important than resort parks. I spent some time in Vietnam in the 1990s and noticed how private and government resources were dedicated to factories and farming and less investment in entertainment.

You are very correct. Look at the Nigerian government and tell me if they are even aware that the country they govern is poor.
The job of the government should be to guide productive resources in the direction of sectors and investment they will create jobs and develop human resources but our are busy majoring on corruption and ambiguous standards.
One presidential candidate talked about these in the last election and Nigerians laughed at him and called him stingy.

With leaders like this e go hard rock develop Nigeria...

Tinapa was meant to fail and we keep failing not because it's a bad project na it's a fantastic project

The issue is Nigerians don't have the "business" Population to make it profitable

3 years ago only 3.7milliom Nigerians spent 10 dollar plus per day... Now I'm sure it's below 2 million people

Going to tilapia would cost 50 dollars minimum... How many Nigerians have that to spare per capita

Calabar people would just go there to snap picture

Anyone who has done business in a mall knows the truth 70% of people just come to take pictures

Tinapa like ajokuta can't work the mistake has been made let it go

Sometimes we fail to realize that Nigerians are very poor and lately, more and more people have been thrown into poverty.

It's part of reason companies fold up and leave the economy in a haste. The businesses that service the poor are managing to stay afloat.
In south Africa for example, you will hear that they have over 2000 spars outlets, 1500 kfcs, 2000 domino pizza... Some provinces have over 50 outlets and they are flourishing. Here, we have less than 50 spar outlets etc in the entire country, some state have none while supposedly rich state like Lagos has less than 6. These are signs abject poverty and none performing economy.

Enough of this silly comparison. Its useless to both parties and wouldnt affect anything

santaclaws:

Small producers are everywhere in southern Nigeria. It's also the same thing in the south-west. Almost every Yoruba village produces palm oil using their own local methods and the palm oil press... Go and verify this and you'd understand that it's a southern thing. So nobody should be saying thanks to Tribe A or Tribe B...

You are the one invested in this tribal thing.... Go through the cs, most people have moved pass that. Its not that important, what is important is for Nigeria to succeed
Agriculture / Re: How Palm Oil Is Produced In South Eastern Nigeria (video/pictures) by slowice(m): 11:13am On Jun 25
santaclaws:

Edo state alone produces more palm oil than the entire South East... Y'all need to learn some humility.

AdaPalm is the largest in the south east, with just a palm plantation of 4,310 hectares, Okomu Oil & Presco are both located in Edo state, they're the largest producers so far. Okomu alone has 12,500 hectares of palm plantation...

Palm oil production is beyond what those companies produce..... In the southeast, many families produce oil in large quantities. Most of the palm oil you see in the market are not from ada palms or okumo, they are from different individuals scattered all over thousands of villages.
