This my friends was what president Jonathan was saying when he said that MEND was not responsible. Because he knows them!. In the Creeks, their command chain. Question, If Political Parties can splinter and form factions, with INEC recognizing only a faction, and some people calling themselves party execos. Is it far fetched that some guy call Jumo Gbomo or whatever can use someone else's funding to perpetrate these acts and claim to be MEND. All am saying is that GEJ was not entirely wrong when he said that the MEND HE KNOWS was not responsible for the attacks.  

Can we trust that as Commander-In-Chief and Ex-Militant supporter he is privileged to some top secret intelligence that even the smart speculators on NLD do not possess. i.e Foreign Govt intels. The same intels that predicted the bomb plots also knows the plotters and the money trails.   Just saying:

The former overall commander of MEND, Government Ekpomopolo (Tompolo) said the organization was not involved in the act.

“I am the leader of MEND. We are not part of the incident of October 1st. MEND is not involved. I am the owner of MEND. We are going to work with you to save this country Nigeria for everyone,” he said.

The leader of the delegation and President of Ijaw Youth Council, Karomema Mabiye also said the killings were not done as part of the struggle of Niger Delta people.

“We reject such incident and we say that the Niger delta people are no way in support of that kind of attitude,” he said. “Let it go from here and let it go to the entire world, particularly because we read in the media that it was MEND. All the leaders of MEND and all other organisations say that MEND was not responsible for that bomb blast. Our struggle is a responsible struggle, our struggle is a mortal struggle and our struggle is struggle for fairness, justice and equity”.

Also speaking at the press briefing hall of the presidential villa where Mr Jonathan received the ex-militants, Victor Ebikabowe (Boyloaf) told the audience which included Vice President Namadi Sambo and other top federal government officials that the group condemns the act.

“MEND is not responsible. We have disarmed. We say to the world, these people claiming they are MEND are impersonating. It is a terrorist act. The people responsible for the act should be dealt with accordingly,” he said.

Asari Dokubo, a former militant leader said the day of the bombings was the saddest day in the lives of most if not all of them.

“I cried when I heard it, because I never expected it to happen and let it not be associated with the people of the Niger Delta,” he said. “We may have different political opinion, but that does not mean that we do not know our root. We are not going to sell our patrimony. We will not do it.

“We represent the people of Niger Delta, our past leaders who have died in the process of this struggle, such as Ken Saro wiwa, and others will be turning in their graves that somebody who claims that he is part of us will do that. We call on the government to investigate properly and fish out those involved and give out the most appropriate punishment. Let there be no leniency”.

Yes you can use it. once unlocked. But like they said in the previous threads, you can not use your wap browser. Only if you are on BIS. Which is what you use a blackberry for. Blackberrys are not just a phone. It takes up to 4 mins to boot up a blackberry, which other phone you know does that. Its like a mini computer. You use it for push emails, BBM and etc. If you need to you it just for calling, please use another phone, cause you will be under utilizing the device.
