No idea
To the best of my knowledge there are no schools for Adults in Nigeria. Adults education is kinda outdated.
So based on that the job opportunity is somehow lame and slim.

My Dad was joking with me Yesterday when he saw Adult Edu and special edu he said on the part of special edu that"I will be teaching children with chronic disabilities like deaf and dumb and morons" That special education is a crappy course.
Human kinetics and adult education is much more better.

A Lecturer said there might not be COC this year. How true is that

Now what is really my fate. I choose English education meanwhile i scored (71 in P.jamb and 247 in jamb) and i scored 66.365 as aggregate.The cut off mark for English edu is exceedingly high this year compared to the previous years which is a strong indicator that many people choose that course and by normal reasoning they have filled up their quota should i do COC or should i hope for supplementary or second batch admission list?

There is a every indication that ui will release second list this year as against one list they released last year....

Using last year as a case study,Both cutoff and COC were released together.Those who didn't meet their courses' cutoff were enjoined to change their courses to some courses that their quotas were yet to fill up.
When the list was released those with even 0.1 were not given their initial courses(No post utme last year)


This year only cutoff was released.
Coc is yet to be out..This is a strong pointer that second list would feature this year..


Using 2015 when post utme was last conducted before fg interruption and interference into admission processes as an example,many people I know who were 1,2 and 3 marks short of their cutoffs were still given their initial courses on supplementary list even when they have done COC......


If u are 1 or 3 short of ur course, the probability of u getting ur dream course is high..

U can still do COC but this is just to put u on a more safer side...COC can never be a barrier if ui decided to consider those people with some few marks below their cutoffs











Though, I as a person seriously shun COC or whatsoever.... I always go for what I want....Circumstances cannot pilot my life affairs for me but u are a different person from me.. U know what fits you.

Last year, only one list was released, the list contained both merit and supplementary. Reason ui released the change of course after the cutoff

Thanks for understanding what am going through mentally. am just starting to believe the cut off marks now after reading this post initially i thought it is a prance from some dudes here because it is not on my portal.

How can the cut off mark of law that is highly competitive be 70.38 and English education that is poorly chosen be 68? it has never happen. the margin is too small

He did not even have to change to another school. law everywhere is damn competitive and UI is one to the institution that is easy to enter, everybody knows the code which is you hit the cutoff mark you get admitted you don't even need to know anybody in UI before you can secure an admission

In addition, I'll suggest that IF HIS AGGREGATE ISN'T ENOUGH FOR LAW, he should opt for change of course to a less competitive course, with prayers and faith, he'll get admitted. Next year he can try another jamb, maybe to another school and apply for law.

Mehn i will not sugarcoat anything for you.Dude am sorry your chances is very low though you did well in your jamb exams. Dont have any hope this year buckle up and wake up to reality. The cutoff mark for law is going to range between 72 and 74. on a more serious note, you need to work EXTRAORDINARY hard next year because law is very competitive.learn from me 2015 i also choose law scoring 60 2016 i chose C.L.A this year i chose English education. what am trying to drive at is that you should go for courses that are less competitive. In my own opinion after studying the previous cut off marks and the trend by which people passed this year exams vet med cannot exceed 55 because it is only few students that passed this year post utme and aspiring students are one of the least aspiring candidates of the University

Are you also a aspirant?if yes, what course did you put in and what is your score?

The previous cut off mark for a course doesn't play any role in determining the new one.

It's solely determined by candidates performance FOR THAT YEAR alone.
Veterinary medicine has always been pegged at 50 because they usually have less number of aspirants who just managed to score above average (for merit)



The case is different this year, a lot of people picked vet medicine and score well enough to raise the cut off.

vet med can even be 50 based on previous cut off marks i.e 2013 50, 2014 50, 2015 50, 2016 50 so judging by that this year cannot exceed 55. so don't let anybody trouble your mind
