Even the Bible acknowledges that the poor will always be amongst us. The pictures though looks like some parts of Asia like Bangladesh or Indonesia but that's not to say there aren't poor neighborhoods in Europe or America. The question is what's the percentage of people who are living in poverty there unlike in Africa. Look from my personal observation, a lot of these poor guys in sane countries are provided with incentives and social welfare schemes including weekly payments by govt, especially legal residents but some choose to beg in the street with their dogs or pets or sleep by the entrance to malls and bus stations. So let's not look that way but rather demand of our govt a better society and not justify our failed society with what it is like in Europe, America or other climes.

The value of life in Nigeria is zero. It has become terrible that sometimes when I see babies who are born prematurely in Nigeria, I wonder what they are rushing out to do, cos if they know the country they are being born into they will be patient a bit till their term time.

This man has some very serious links with Iran o..the daughter of the slain iranian general Quasem Soleimani was even pictured with his daughter some time ago. When it comes to national security, we don't have all the details but if govt feels at this time that he should remain where he is, then there must be strong reasons we may not be privy to.

It's becoming clear why we shouldn't have any pity for this police guys whenever they are reported to be dealt with. The way they think is as black as how their uniform is. Citizens have suffered cos they now get tortured or killed by both criminals and the police. It's just a shame.

This man would have been better as a UN humanitarian head. He is really compassionate and shows empathy towards the weak, poor and those who are in pain and severe sufferings. I am not defending the school against the students. I'm only saying it isn't wise to make judgement on a one sided story. For fairness, let's get the other accused side to state their position as well.

What do u mean by watch the video? Is that short clip of seeing rain water moving underneath boxes enough as an evidence that the compund is that of covenant Uni? How many interviews were carried out in the video of students complaining? Aren't there other things one should see in such video to have a conclusive judgement? Anyone who just believe a story hurriedly without a balanced reportage in this age and time must be very gullible.

I am also awaiting a more detailed response from the school mgt or a close source of the institution. That will inform my take on the issue.

Not only God..we all know that Covenant Uni was established to raise the educational standard in the country that has greatly diminished through quality training and research. A one sided dark story shouldn't be enough to write them off totally in bad light. Afterall what have our public institutions set as standard if we must compare? We await the school mgt to address this issue so the sane public can have a balanced judgement.

Rather than rush into conclusion, wait for the other side of the story from the school management. Students are mainly known to give unbalanced reports.

If this story is confirmed as true, all the overzealous staff who supervised this should be queried and punished to serve as a deterrent to others, and an unreserved apology should be quickly issued to the students and their parents/guardians. However, there are 3 sides to this story; that of the students, the school management, and the real truth. I hope the management can respond to this allegations without speaking grammer cos i'm not sure Bishop Oyedepo will ever approve of this.

The woman said this particular fund isn't domiciled under her ministry, so she is actively re-directing those who indirectly accused her to look towards another agency handling that fund. If school children whose feeding funds are being moved about like it's on escortion, decide to protest, the police may end up mobilizing to the venue to deal with them.

I think they know the content the Nigerian market mostly crave for at cheaper subscription rates which includes league matches and other international matches/sports events. They are in business to break DStv monopoly and they must have worked on their short comings.

Nigerians will support this as long as it provides great content, quality service and is sustainable with affordable subscription rates. Monopoly has made multichoice (DStv) deal with Nigerians the way they can't do to South Afrcans. Calls will soon begin to roll in from female DStv customer care agents promising all kinds of promo just to keep their customers. Most Nigerians have moved on to streaming matches online rather than pay their high rates. Infact many Nigerian banks aren't even subscribing for DStv packages more than N3k.
