HigherEd:U have stated here that CU doesn't strive to become like a UK university, but you forgot to limit your assertion to reflect that it doesn't strive to behave like a UK Uni in the code of decency it has as it's template. Cos in other aspects like innovative research and performance ratings of it's graduates it does strive to have a global brand like that of UK Unis or other top world Unis. If u had carefully looked at my last line statement, it addressed the issue of Nigerian universities being in our African setting which has its uniqueness based on our moral values. |
Very hilarious. Meanwhile during my postgraduate degree programme in a UK Uni, there was no appearance nor dress code. Loads of persons wore shorts, winter jackets, even leggings. Some white dudes had earrings on. And this was in a very professional medical programme. The African society is just a different one. |
Let your priority be to borrow sense from those nations who know what they are doing. The habit of borrowing is a temporary solution to a permanent problem of cluelessness and wastage of nigeria's own resources, through corruption and bad governance. |
Enuguplkln:I'm done giving you your medical test result. Go see a doctor for proper clinical management. |
Enuguplkln:A Brain CT scan is required to properly examine the brain of individuals like you who think this way, cos it must be a sawdust infested brain u have based on my prognosis and presumptive diagnosis. |
Enuguplkln:You really sound cursed & frustrated. How does this comment of urs relate to the news? |
This kind of boat will sail u to the mouth of whales and sharks. The so called military boat looks like an abandoned roadside kerosene tank. |
School feeding programme indeed. Apart from Islamic schools, how many of these kids go to regular schools up north? Gandollar does not fail to get kickbacks. If he was a goalkeeper, any ball that gets into his hands would have entered his pockets. |
Abouwaza:Exactly. |
The heart of a man is deceitful and desperately wicked (Jeremiah. 17:9). Let it be known to those who do such evil that evil will visit them & their generations and will never depart from their household (Proverbs. 17:13). |
This time around, INEC was not inconclusive. |
Sometimes I hear people thanking God that Nigeria doesn't suffer natural disasters and I laugh, cos the man made disasters we suffer from is terrible. Since we are very religious, U.S ban will not be enough, its like God will begin to place sanctions like the repatriation of these corrupt Nigerian evil men from earth to hell very quickly before country will change. Covid 19 has already repatriated some of them. |
When the roots of a tree begins to decay, it spreads death to the branches. Our country leadership has finished us. It's left for animals to begin to embarrass Nigerians to leave their zoo. |
Even if food is shared in an occasion, this man will be checking to see if the number of spoons of rice dished for Muslims is enough to enable them have energy to hit their foreheads. Let this MURIC man proceed to offer his services to those who practice Sharia & stop disturbing sane minds, cos his constant irrelevant noise is beginning to qualify him as a spokesperson for mad men. |

Abohboy:U must be a very frustrated individual. I hope u get help for your miserable life soon. So you can't put forward your opinion without sounding brainless...what a waste of existence. |

When Ebonyi state voted in this man, they didn't know they had signed Messi. He has won the political "ballon d'or" back to back since 2015. Citizens of states that their governor's achievement(s) is either to appear during children's day celebration, control traffic, sign MOU, share kerosene, share ludo, give yearly budgets botanical/scientific names, dethrone traditional rulers, eat roadside roasted corn, mould statue, stuff dollars, share cars, collect loans, sponsor pilgrimages etc should know that when they voted, they signed Yakubu Ayegbeni. |
The idea of the contract is very commendable...if not for those his babriga pockets that took in kickback dollars, his developmental records has been very ok. |
Look, our courts have remained the legal arm of any govt in power. So there is nothing u can achieve by challenging an election outcome. |
Nigeria has officially been added to the same Whatsapp and telegram group with Somalia, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, South Sudan, and Yemen. Nobody is safe anymore, the economy is in shambles, Poverty is a top striker in Nigeria and has scored so many goals, while corruption has the biggest embassy in the country. The situation is very heartbreaking so much so that you need a mic to pray for God to hear you cos there is so much noise caused by wailing in the land. The country is just in a mess. |
Awol1:Elections didn't begin in Nigeria in 2019. There is no Nigerian politician who directly or indirectly hasn't been involved in a rigging process, so Saraki cannot be exempted from being alien to rigging since the inception of democracy. |
Saraki doesn't know that his name is on the Batch B list that will be released soon. |
thebosstrevor1:If you understand Intl relations between countries you'll know that most top nations in the world share information with their allies, including travel restrictions and sanctions placed on any individual/group/nation. If you've ever processed a visa to a developed country, you'll be asked to state the countries you've previously resided in, and if you've ever had a visa rejection. Look, the world powers can cripple anyone they wish to at anytime. You can only console these insane politicians online, but those who have been affected by this ban know the gravity and implications, and won't be in their best mood right now. |
The UK should just go ahead and ban them already based on their previous and current ills. Maybe Yemen can accommodate them. This ban that has been activated by the USA will soon spread to all U.S allies, and someday they'll discover that their intl passport will only be able to take them to Cotonou. |
Let me help Soyinka put it in more simple English so that the targeted sycophants who may not understand the truth in big grammer due to low brain space can relate. Soyinka talk say Nigeria don crumble finish under this Daura man govt., Him say the crack don divide people like crackers buscuit, and this kind thing never happen like this before...Him say him no be supporter of OBJ, but him no fit hide mouth say wetin OBJ talk this time na very correct talk. |
Busted tactics...why didn't they go to Katsina this time around to begin the disbursement? All of a sudden it must start in Edo, just around some few days to the guber election. Edo youths pls collect the money and eat, put toothpick in ur mouth after eating their money, and proceed to vote the brave Obaseki. U.S is too big to ban this Keyamo, Yemen can handle his own ban. |
Distinguished people like this are those qualified to be addressed as 'your excellency', not election riggers, cos they have demonstrated excellence at a global stage and the world cannot ignore. Congrats Sir...truely, IGBO AMAKA. |
To show u how corrupt our judicial system is..after glaring evidence of rigged elections, the courts still justify them as winners. Meanwhile, the U.S couldn't be decieved by the evil acts of our leaders. In Nigeria we fool ourselves with false democracy...no wonder the junta guys in Mali keep laughing at our govt leaders who are advising them to return power to a democratically elected govt., cos they know that the people advising them are riggers. |
Those who keep defending incompetence can now see that we are now bronze medalists & occupying a champions league position in global terrorism ranking. Terrorists have occupied everywhere, but rather than call them by their names and deal with them decisively, you'll rather hear branded pet names like bandits, gunmen, herders, armed men etc., meanwhile on a daily basis there is no peace. Its a huge shame. |
Those who said food prices were not rising must have been consuming cowdung from Daura as their daily meals..Nigeria is now worse than being in the wilderness. If the biblical children of Isreal found themselves in the present day Nigeria, they would have gone back to Egypt and apologized to Pharaoh. |
