Politics / Visa Racketing In The Name Of The Vice President ( Prof.yemi Osibanjo) In S.A by smarttjhb: 6:34pm On Jun 25, 2018
It is no longer news that the Nigerian image is far from improving in the international view, as our host citizen are not seeing sufficient reason why they should change their views about the Nigerian corruption stance. While this battle of integrity accreditation continues in a wave-like motion, we are yet being hit by another big scandal that could erode all the effort to placate ourselves in-spite of how we are being perceived. We seemed to have commenced a new corrupt relationship with South African most wanted notorious GUPTAs family. This is a bigger platform that can help mismanage our image in the African perimeter and to proof to the whole world that we are gullible.
As a way of background information, our host country –South Africa, including most of the southern countries do not pay lip service in their fight against corruption, and they do not use personality of government vehicles to overrun wrongdoing. We are all privileged to the ongoing sanitization of the South African systems to fish out corrupt government officials in every sector as well as private accomplices.
We the Nigerian in South Africa are very disappointed to be informed by Mr Adeyemi Adetunji that the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has embarked on a business mission to outsource the visa process of the High Commission in Pretoria to an individual (His business Beneficiary) registered as THEBEZ Global Resources; being fronted by MR. ADEYEMI ADETUNJI.
The High Commission took steps to make a counter recommendation at the start of this proposal, noting for a fact that, this will amount to gross institutionalization of corruption which is absolutely regrettable and an unconventional practice, meaning-less to speak of the ill publicity that will be associated with it, and a reversal of government campaign on “ease of doing business in Nigeria”.
The individual involved has now gone pass the High Commission to present an overbearing order from above, on the staff of the High Commission, as message from Nigeria Vice president – Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. This has kept everyone in fear because he was not just calling a bluff but an order to do the bidding of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Why does Nigeria Vice President want to use the High Commission at Pretoria to establish a private money making a machine in South Africa? Why should he use the resources of the Nation as a means to enrich himself? Is this how we fight corruption? Should we completely scarify every sense of our National integrity & Value, in the altar of our want for more riches? Does it mean that people in government will have to sell off everything that represents Nigeria before they leave office? How low can the Nigeria story be told? Alas! These questions are begging for your answer Mr. President.
It will also interest you to find out more about the operation of THEBEZ Global Resources being the Nigerian collaborator Company sponsoring this business venture in the name of the Vice President –Prof. Yemi Osibanjo.
Given that THEBEZ Global resources is not a registered company in South Africa, therefore cannot operate business in the South African soil. The owners of the company has gone ahead to lock ties with the Notorious Gupta brother who has provided a platform for them in one of their numerous company operating as - VFS SA.
THEBEZ GLOBAL Resources has No website. ( they only mirrored the website of vfs), No Experience or historical account of previous engagement in National security concerns as well as immigration-related activities for the country. The only one thing going for him is The big name; requesting for compliance to directives from Above “Thus Says the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria: Pastor Prof. Dr. Yemi Osibanjo ….
This is the same notorious GUPTA family that has captured and ruined the South African economy with the immediate Past President of South Africa. The Notorious GUPTA Family are presently a fugitive being searched by the South African authorities
This racket has introduced two set of financial beneficiaries and increased bottleneck in the Nigeria Visa process here in South Africa.
Its function is to serve as a courier company to collect visa application within the same neighborhood on a distance of 3.1Kilometer, 4mins drive by car and 15mins if you have to walk for a fee of R1,350 equivalent of N40,500( Forty Thousand, Five Hundred Naira) per application.
This is an unlawful financial coercion levied on the individual, absolute disregard for Nigerians.
The Visa applications are then sent to the High Commission for normal processing, applicants has to either pay visa fees online or OIS centers. Meaning a Visa applicant has to go to OIS office, Make payment and then drive down to VFS office to submit application and pay R1,350 just for VFS to deliver it to the High Commission making the total cost of a 3month single entry visa to Nigeria R2,500 (Two thousand five hundred Rands), equivalent of N75,000 (Seventy-five thousand Naira). This amount is split thus: N40,500 .00 as a donation on Vice President orders, and the normal Visa processing fee of N34, 500.00.
Mr. President, where is our heritage? What else do we have to give to enrich the greed of government superpowers? How far can the root of corruption be entrenched in the fabric of our Nation? The following questions is being asked:
- Who gave the order to outsource and re-source visa processing service from the Nigerian Immigration in Pretoria to an unqualified private individual?
- What is the relationship with Nigerian Vice President –Prof Yemi Osibanjo with Adeyemi Adetunji of THEBEZ Global Resources?
- Why is MR. ADEYEMI ADETUNJI parading himself here in Pretoria, South Africa – carrying instruction from the Vice President of Nigeria to set up a business concern from National Service?
- What Value is VFS or Thebez Global Resources offering?
- What was the challenges of the previous system, where applicants came to the High Commission to submit his own application by itself?
- Why is Nigeria in wild romance with the notorious GUPTAS?

We wish to reiterate here that the entire world is looking at Nigeria, in a wide romance with the world acclaimed notorious GUPTAS family. We can expect the worse because the GUPTAS will stop at nothing… we are safe to assume that Pretoria is the first rollout to test the waters, this is just an access to ushered the GUPTAS into the life of the Nigeria economy.

We urge you sir, Mr. President, to call these parties to order and save our country!
The operation of the GUPTAS- VISA SA and THEBEZ Global – Dr. Yemi Osibanjo has started operation on 1st of May 2018.
We look up to you to immediately stop this evil and restore sanity, we want to believe your government is sincere with his fight against corruption – this is time for us in South Africa to have our own Proof.
We shall stop at nothing to continue in this publication, through all available social media and news handle available to us until we make this a public knowledge to the last man in the street, that the vice President of Nigeria and His business counterpart has embarked on an extortive business with the citizens living in the diaspora.
While we wait for your action, we maintain our prayers “God Bless Nigeria, Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

Yours Sincerely,

Smart Akangbe
