EducationHow Best Can Students Prepare For Post-ume Screening ? by smarttkid(op): 5:17pm On Jul 22, 2009
How best can students really prepare for post-UME screening, given the  fact,  that most universities don't make their post-UME screening questions available to students after the examination, particularly schools that have adopted electronic testing & assessment?

Do students really have any materials to benchmark themselves with the nature and type of questions before the exams?

FoodRe: Suggested Receipes For A Diabetic by smarttkid(m): 12:29pm On Jul 22, 2009
Getting recipes for someone diabetic would require some level of creativity. You first have to understand the pre-condition that resulted in the disease.

Diabetes is a condition in which the pancreas no longer produces enough insulin or when cells stop responding to the insulin that is produced, so that glucose in the blood cannot be absorbed into the cells of the body. Symptoms include frequent urination, lethargy, excessive thirst, and hunger.
So the issues you need to address in the feeding habit would be to reduce the sugar intake, basically carbohydrates.

In your choice of recipe, creatively combine proteinous food items, vegetable, fruits etc which are very limited. Also, be very careful with the quantity of oil used for the meals.

Aloe vera, unripe plantain, fish, beans, fruits and vegetable should be regular intake for a diabetic person, in addition carry out regular medical check-up to know the sugar level.

When my big brother had the condition,  he was placed on Golden Six, a herbal preparation from a Chinese healthcare company, that greatly improved his condition. Since then, he has been fine. He has been off the restrictive food intake without any side effect on his health. I think I can recommend it to anybody who may have diabetic tendencies as the herbal solution is said to be prophylactic . If you require more info on this, call Raymond to: 08033184658 .

EducationRe: Would You Help Your Children To Cheat In Exams? by smarttkid(m): 2:45pm On May 29, 2009
It is often said that Education is the best legacy to give to our children, helping our children to cheat in exams is certainly be the worst legacy to give to any child - a legacy of irresponsibility and cowardice.
EducationRe: Would You Help Your Children To Cheat In Exams? by smarttkid(m): 6:14pm On May 28, 2009
As a father, I am a guide to my children. No doubt, peer pressure may force them to choose the way of cheating in exams; I own them the responsibility of talking them out of such ways rather than helping them to achieve their intention.  I believe children should be trained - regimented- to follow the way you desire of them; after all, my children are my solid pillars for the future.

Imagine the uncertainty that would becloud a man who pushed his child through school, including medical school, helping the child to cheat; being taken to the theatre for surgery by that same child as a surgeon. Since the child is used to cheating, he may end up cheating life out of the father- and bury the mistake, that is the father and still cheat the siblings from knowing the truth of their father's death.

Instead of helping your children to cheat, help them to discover themselves - everyone has innate capacity that the world is waiting for -  help your children to discover those innate abilities they carry.
