People are allowed to remarry after the passing of their partners if they like and no one has a say over that. No society judges people for remarrying except if it's immediately after the passing of the partner.

I do not understand the full circumstances leading to the boys death, but to crucify that nurse because of injection she administered is far fetched. We know a bulk of Nigerians generally call nurses for home treatment and to save cost of admission in hospital, some even do it for the convenience, it is our naija way wrong as it may be. What about chemist shops, lots of Nigerians will first stoll to the chemist for treatment before considering going to hospital.
Anyway it backfired on this nurse, so she will be used as scape goat.

They kept saying they are working on it. I reached out to someone in the Department to help me check my status before UNILAG application closes so that I won't put all my eggs in a basket, the person said that I have been recommended for admission already. I don't know why they haven't uploaded it.

The website is still up, I was able to make payment and I applied for admission last week, awaiting their decisions

Advise other families to learn from this case not to get pregnant at all if they do not have the money to pay for the delivery and whatever emergency procedures may result. Also, have them see that making sure to choose hospitals they can afford for the delivery is in their best interest. Additionally, people should probably consider signing up early for available health insurance plans that can guarantee payment of health costs in this and other situations beforehand.
