Politics / Re: Bandits Tax Farmers Before Harvest In Kaduna Community by smileyoo: 7:48am On Nov 11, 2023 |
The basic duty of any government worldwide is for the protection of lives and properties of the citizens, any government that failed in this aspect has lost the confidence of the people that they govern, therefore they had lost the right of governance. every crime committed without any consequences to the criminals, only served as an incentive for future crimes to be committed by the criminals. every attack on a farmer and farming is sadly an attack on the food security of the nation, i don't know why this APC government is not given this issue the seriousness it deserves. |

Sharpsharp00123:is it now a crime to be seen with a governor, because he is a labor leader ? the funny thing is that when LP needed NLC support, they were in absolute docile mode because of political niceties, but at the end NLC is still accused of supporting LP, therefore NLC deserve whatever befall them but not to the extent of brutalizing and humiliating an elderly man . The main election have come and gone, people should move on and start behaving normal, abegi. we care less who win Imo State election, because nothing special about LP candidate over governor uzodinma- same G-G men. |

chopnaira:lol. but your agbero government self no help matter , why do they have to beat the old man, baba blue style ? what happens to the rule of law, instead of this unnecessary beatings and harassment of Mr Ajero by your state government. after beating the child you expect the child not to cry also. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

excel101:it's not wrong to set a standard, but it depend on individual choice to set standard, but an average Nigerian is no more patriotic enough to set moral standard, for the good of the nation because our political elites have successfully lowered the moral standard of the country, to the point where people now believe that moral depravity is just a normal daily occurrence. there is hardly love nor moral standard in a jungle zone. |

socialmediaman:the world has woken up, terrorism is in no more acceptable for whatever reasons. no more free killings in the name of religion. but Israelis must negotiate for a two states solution with the real humans in Palestine, for a lasting peace, but no negotiations with Hamas terrorists. #live and let live. |

mrvitalis: how do you determine how much Lagos state is generating as igr yearly, when they have raised the army of lazy youths collecting taxes with zero accountability ? just watch with time you get to know why he is called the taskmaster. |

TheFacelessMan:look, in Nigeria a lot of things don't make sense, for your president to have signed out such spending while asking Nigerians to tighten their belts because of the economic crunch, doesn't make sense. for the lawmakers to have requested such huge spending in the midst of economic crunch doesn't make sense. for Nigerians to have kept quiet while their scarce resources is being squaredered by politicians, only to be looking in the direction of Obi's camp to criticize for what they have accepted by not opposing it, doesn't make sense. so we are basically in a period that doesn't make sense in the history of our nation. |

Corn247:like i said you guys always reject positive change, so why always expecting others to be doing the right thing while most of you guys are always doing the wrong thing, at the end majority of these evil characters always determine the direction that the nation will follow, so why disturbing people that genuinely want positive change but can not effect it, because most nigerians are supportive of evil based on tribal and religious affiliations. we are in emilokan era, but if you don't like his policies , be courageous enough to confront him, instead of looking for scapegoat to confront. |
Politics / Re: Peter Obi Defends Purchase Of ₦160 Million SUV For LP Lawmakers by smileyoo: 1:15pm On Nov 08, 2023 |
excel101:but the most brainless thing here that matters a lot, is that our president see nothing wrong in approving the purchase of such luxurious cars for official use of lawmakers, while pleading with Nigerians to tighten their belts because of economic crunch . therefore as you can see , my brainless harmless opinion means nothing and cost Nigeria nothing because am not your policy maker, better confront your policy maker , then i will accept you have a little brain to be proud of. |

mrvitalis:lol. i can assure you that Nigerians just got the right man in the mold of tinubu, therefore as an experienced taskmaster Oga PBAT will never disappoint you, because he will task the hell out of Nigerians, but the basic questions are; where will the tax proceeds end up ? will Nigerians have better value for the tax proceeds ? lagosians have been enduring these tax burdens for ages, can Nigerians be able to do so without any attendant implosion ? |

even if the LP lawmakers rejected their own cars, will the masses benefit from the returned proceeds ? the answer is a big NO. 37 Likes 7 Shares |

muykem:but sincerely speaking, if they rejected the cars, they will only be cheating themselves, especially when the proceeds will only be channelled back to the cess-pit of corruption, that's into their famous structure of criminality, where the masses will not benefit anything from. Nigerians are not ready for genuine change, therefore they should enjoy themselves while the rottenness prevails. lol. what have you benefited from the fuel subsidy removal, so far ? 35 Likes 12 Shares |

It's more saddening that the Nigeria press is not highlighting the plights of our fellow citizens in their various IDP camps and what brought them there, urging the government to show utmost responsibility over this vexed issue of Fulani-herdsmen atrocities across the nation. The affected people in IDP camps are also surprisingly not making much noise over their unjustified predicaments, instead they prefer to be suffering silently. some nigerians are protesting against the Israelis for waging war against the terrorists, while they are ashamedly mute over the deaths of their fellow innocent citizens, to the slaughtering hands of an internal groups of terrorists. what a nation we are !!! |

chigoziri2403:lol. which hustle do you expect them to hustle at this age ? why not advice them to also increase the prices of their own stocks as traders, only that they may have diminished sales. they have the right to protest, because in a normal country, protest is just to let the government know the feelings of the people and do something about it, but Nigeria is not normal, and government don't give a damn. 1 Like |

Augmentin= 35 k per pack instead of 7k per pack. indeed this is a wrong time to be sick or to need medication in Nigeria . am supposed to say; may God help Nigerians but it's seems like even God himself is already tired of Nigerians, therefore all i can say is this; may Nigerians help themselves. 90 Likes 13 Shares |
Politics / Re: FG Has Saved ₦1.45 Trillion From Subsidy Removal - Mohammed Idris by smileyoo: 8:18am On Nov 08, 2023 |
That the minister claimed the FG have channelled the subsidy funds to the state governments, without really knowing how much the FG had given to the states, shows lack of accountability. how can you be spending without knowing how much you were spending ? fuel subsidy removal, only mean more funds available to be looted by these bold, fearless political elites . sadly with these set of looting class, am afraid if there will ever be a better tomorrow for Nigerians. |

DOA request. this governor should canvas for true federalism, if indeed he is seriously serious. but his most urgent task presently is to free his people from the activities of terrorists, bandits, Fulani-herdsmen, kidnappers , boko-haram, e.t.c. threatening the peace of Niger state, so that the citizens can go to their farms and other businesses without the fear of insecurities. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Netanyahu Gives Condition For Ceasefire In Gaza After 11,000 Dead by smileyoo: 7:07am On Nov 07, 2023 |
Okay, if terrorists Hamas still refused to free the hostages, and accept a cease fire, then they are the ones killing their own people, by allowing Israel to keep fighting them, after all freeing the hostages wouldn't cost them anything to do so. deaths to all terrorists and their evil sympathizers. I trust Israel to still fish out all those terrorists leaders that triggered these needless killings of innocent people on both sides of the divide . |

ahnie:revolution is never the sole prerogative of the youths alone. during the endsars protests the youths realized how hopeless and deeply divided the nation had become, and most painful of it all, is the nauseating gullibility of average Nigerian's tendencies to believe every propaganda of the government of the day as the absolute truth, even when the truth is staring at them in the face. during the endsars, some Nigerians still do believe that there were no killings of innocent citizens at toll gate, because of the false narratives of the ruling powers. i will not advice any responsible youth to do any protest again, because of Nigeria situation. revolution ko, revolution ni. when Nigerians are tired, they will fight for themselves . |
Celebrities / Re: John Voight Expresses Disgust In Daughter Angelina Jolie's Attacks On Israel by smileyoo: 7:46pm On Nov 05, 2023 |
DKM123:exactly the point. the bigger picture that Israelis are facing is that, if they are to be defeated in any war with these hateful beasts, they will surely face total extermination. i just can't understand why some people are supportive of these terrorists, who are using their people to practice war games under the pretext of fighting for freedom. how can the killings of innocent civilians and children be termed as fighting for freedom ? thank God Israel is not a docile christian nation, where these terrorists can practice their free killings without any consequences. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ikaeniyan0:very funny comment; so because some of your indigenes were privileged to be in power in the past, is the reason why you can't reject and condemn this unwarranted intimidation from this insensitive northern group ? because igbohow was not fighting against the northerners, but against the Fulani -herdsmen killing his people without any provocation, but with an irritating impunity for whatever reasons. instead of this same group threatening you to caution his people, they kept quiet until Mr igboho decided to fight back. Pls face your intimidators and leave the peaceful igbos alone. 2 Likes |
