This is sad, because it's a preventable accident, if only the police initially upholds justice by locking up the criminal for his previous offense, but as a privileged terrorist, he was released as usual, to perpetrate another serious crime against the society. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Self defense is the only option to Nigerians now. Nigerians, defend yourselves and your nation. |
Politics / Re: If Only Awolowo Was President by smileyoo: 8:40am On May 15 |
MEEVEET:Awolowo is far more better than Azikiwe as regards to his commitment to the service of his people, because while the great zik was busy chasing after the elusive nationalism of the Nigeria nation, Awolowo was busy positioning his people strategically through free and qualitative education and basic critical infrastructures. i believe that if Awolowo were to be in the place of Azikiwe, the Biafra war history would have been a different story all together, because Awolowo wouldn't have turned his back on his people, the manner Azikiwe did, all in the name of unity and nationalism, which unfortunately 6 decades counting, Nigeria is still looking for the elusive unity and nationalism. Presently where is the Nigeria unity ? where are the Nigeria nationalists ? 1 Like |

Pocca:there you go, always looking at issues based on tribalism, by typing rubbish; treachery runs in your blood and you think you are making sense, even when am not a Yoruba man. am an Igbo man, but i appreciate the fact that Awolowo provided free education to his region back then, while his other contemporaries were making education very expensive to the poor, and others outrightly exploiting the vulnerable illiteracy of their people. Though chief Awolowo may not be perfect, just like every other humans, but he stand out as a leader who had the best interest of his subjects and work towards it. Quality education is key to the development of any nation, had it been other Nigeria leaders followed the noble step of Awolowo by providing free education to Nigerians, Nigeria wouldn't be in this present pitiable situation, where some retards don't see any big deal in killing their fellow innocent citizens because of archaic outdated religious beliefs, illicit accumulation of wealth, and pure hatred/wickedness. how can you compare emilokan 's owomida system of lazy youths in Lagos to that of Awolowo 's quality standard of education ? 1 Like |

Politics / Re: If Only Awolowo Was President by smileyoo: 12:41pm On May 14 |
but how can you compare the great Awolowo with this emilokan with baggage of questionable character ? Awo was a realist and a visionary leader whose love for his Yoruba people was never in doubt, though he was never a core nationalist, because i believe he was a realist to the core, he was a wise man that realized that it's impossible to force nationalism on people that are not ready for it. but his great achievements as the leader of the western region, had proven him to be a great leader with great achievements. Awolowo 's free education policy helped to accelerate the development of western region above other regions in Nigeria. Awolowo believed in welfarism and the well-being of his subjects, while emilokan believes in the well-being of his political elites and incessant taxation of the masses. at the end of emilokan regime, more billionaires will emerge, while the survival of an average masses of Nigeria, could be termed miraculous, because of hardships. i prefer a humanist AWO than a greedy taskmaster emilokan. 5 Likes |

Wawelexy:lol. Perhaps the man is expecting more deaths from his constituency, due to hardships from emilokan government's knee - jack policies, that's silently killing Nigerians, for example go and check the current prices of basic pharmaceutical drugs in the market, an average Nigerian citizen with a minimum wage of #30.000 can no longer afford them. what happens if one is sick, but can't afford the high prices of going to the hospital for the basic treatment, and at the same time can't afford to purchase basic needed drugs from the pharmacy stores ? i wish the Nigerian journalists could be going to various hospitals in Nigeria, to see what is going on in Nigeria, and to educate Nigerians that this is a wrong period to be sick in the country . 1 Like 1 Share |

Babangidapikin:lol. why are you praising him for giving Nigerians unnecessary harassment, through needless excessive taxations. emilokan 's praise singers can see why it is necessary to speak out against any evil government policies, because if we keep quiet, docile or outrightly supporting the government ignorantly, that needless burden will be placed upon the citizens, without any atom of mercy from the government of the day. personally, i have not seen anything that the ordinary citizens of Nigeria , had benefited from this emilokan government, one year after subsidy is gone proclamation, instead it has been from one shege to another pro-shege banza. DeepSight: No. the crisis had a very long history, but with attitude of live and let live, this crisis would have been resolved a long time ago. For example, Nelson Mandela of South Africa, applied that principle of ; live and let live, in south Africa to end apartheid in south Africa, today the south Africans are better for it, instead of clinging to the hatred of the past, both the Palestinians and the Israelis ought to forgive each other, make peace, and accept a two states solution to end the crisis. 1 Like |

When you know you are in a corrupt system, you learn how to apply wisdom when you encounter some of the social challenges. had it been you went to the police station with a practicing lawyer, and allow your lawyer to confront the police men on duty, with your complains and the need for them to do their lawfully assigned duties, they wouldn't be requesting any gratification for them to do their jobs, because they know what a single petition from a lawyer can do to their station and their profession. go back to the station with a lawyer and make official statement because of your lost sim card. 2 Likes 1 Share |

poseidon12:that they have military base in any African country doesn't mean that they are governing that African nation. Corruption is the main challenge why African nations are irritatingly backward in feasible achievements/developments. Just recently list of looted funds by 58 former governors in Nigeria were circulating in online, allegedly released by efcc , with one of the governors said to have cornered the huge amounts of 1000 billion naira, that is a trillion naira, far back 1999-2007 when some yearly state budget was not even up 500 billion naira, but an individual deemed it okay to loot 1 trillion naira, from his state government because he happened to be the governor of the state. When you peruse the list of those looting governors, with such huge amounts of funds there's no level of development, that Nigeria wouldn't have attained, if properly utilized. they are not even talking about other arms of government, but only the states executives. Africa leaders ' looting of their Nations ' resources with impunity is the main reason for Africa's under- development, more than any other reasons. |

codemaniacs:what are you saying ? what more suffering could be more than what we are already going through , in Nigeria ? how many Nigerians are actually benefiting from the proceeds of these so-called much trumpeted oil ? Nigeria is a sovereign nation, and as such if the Americans were unable to abide by the terms of agreements as regards the establishment of the military base in Nigeria, the agreement can be revoked and the Americans will be send back home . but the same Americans have been maintaining their bases in; Germany, Japan, south Korea, e.t.c. and these nations are doing fine and developing fast, without any complaints, but only all these Islamic extremists ridden Nations, that's clearly allergic to modernity and Western civilization due to their archaic outdated religious frivolities they are clinging unto , are finding it difficult to accept and benefits from any western arrangement like that of American base. is it not funny and abnormal, that all these Islamic terrorists, like boko-haram hate western civilization, but they are using modern weapons, to terrorise their victims ? |

Gabriel1992:exactly. Just imagine we are basically in a serious security crisis where citizens are persistently killed in a most gruesome manner, communities ransacked and destroyed, with victims forced to flee to IDP camps, abaddoning their ancestral homes, all without any consequences to the vicious perpetrators, and the circle repeats itself over and over again, while the FG watch helplessly because of political will to tackle these security crisis, yet somebody is saying we should not seek any international efforts to stop this menace , as if they are enjoying all these needless killings of innocent Nigerians. |

but am doubtful if indeed efcc released this list, but if it is true, what are they waiting for? they should go after them and recover the huge amounts, that are more than enough to rebuild Nigeria, and that's if it were not to be re- looted . There is no type of country that these huge amounts wouldn't be enough to build or rebuild, with comfortable citizens living happily. The real enemies of Nigeria and citizens of Nigeria are the corrupt and looting political elites. but op, this list is not yet completely complete, lol. |

Presently Nigeria as a nation is already destabilized by our fellow black terrorists, killing and kidnapping our people, destroying our farm produce, with the resultant food insecurity. let the Americans come but if they misbehave, we boot them out. but something must be done, we cannot continue like this . Nigeria only need a mutual and beneficial agreement with the American government . |

Safyqueen:presently Nigeria is a terrorist prone nation where the citizens are killed and dehumanized without any consequences and Americans have no military base in Nigeria. When an Arab Nation, gave the names of 400 terrorists sponsors in Nigeria to your Oga Bubu's government, what did they do with it ? making unproven conspiracy theory against another nation, when you have the list of the internal sponsors of terrorists in your country makes no meaning. 1 Like |

alanto:why not ask me what did the Americans achieved in; Germany, Japan, south Korea, e.t.c. instead you are using Islamic extremists governments known for their support for terrorists and hatred for western civilization as a benchmark of American failures. you don't blame America for their failures because they are un-serious Nations that choose to hate modernity and civilization, but prefer archaic outdated religious frivolities that's a retrogressive system, so how can they develop into a modern and prosperous Nations ? |
Politics / Re: Eminent Northerners To Tinubu: Reject Bid To Site US, French Bases In Nigeria by smileyoo: 10:19am On May 04 |
Mr man, speak for yourself, because i disagree with your postulations. Islamic adherents are the real group that spread terrorist groups in the world, especially Africa. having an American military base in Nigeria is not a wrong idea, but it depends on the terms of agreements for its establishment. America have military bases in the following countries namely, Japan, south Korea, Germany, e.t.c. and they are doing just fine, they are not complaining, but instead they are developing steadily through the security stability they derived from their collaboration with the Americans. Can anyone honestly say that Nigeria is not already in serious security crisis through unchecked terrorists invasion by foreigners that cannot be arrested for their atrocities in Nigeria, according to Oga Bubu ? I wish Oga tinubu can even co-operate with the Americans for the military bases, but with the sole purpose of fighting these terrorists, bandits, Fulani -herdsmen killing farmers, and destroying their farm products and the heartless kidnappers. Nigeria as a nation must move forward and reject retrogressive attitude in nation building. We are tired of the killings of innocent Nigerians, without any consequences by these privileged terrorists. 43 Likes 6 Shares |
