Science/TechnologyTrending! 2 Anambra Technicians Develop Power Generator That Runs Without PMS, G by smithsolord(op): 9:29am On Dec 08, 2017
The adage that ideas rule the world came to reality at the premises of the Anambra State

As two sons of Ekwulobia, Aguata Council Area, showcased an electric generator they constructed that can be operated without petrol or gas.

The two men, Messers Gabriel Obinna and Moses Ezeilegbunam, said that they were moved by the high cost of petrol and epileptic power supply in the country.

Speaking to the Focusgist, Mr. Obinna who explained how the electric generator was constructed, said that the generator with nine hundred wax capacity will power ceiling fan, standing fan, television, table top fridge and can work for forty eight hours nonstop.

According to Mr. Ezeilegbunam, the generator is highly ideal at a moment like this as it hardly needs maintenance and made it clear that with government support as well as affluent individuals from the society, they can construct the one that can power air conditioner, refrigerators of all kinds, electric heater among others, as lack of finance is their major challenge.

What else can one say, as Ndi Anambra continue to rock the world with their intellectual ingenuity, it behoves on the government and affluent people in the society to ensure that this feat achieved by the two young men do not die off.

Maybe with this development, Nigeria is a little step closer to saying good bye to epileptic power supply.
Speaking To our Correspondent who interviewed the two young men, reports that switching on of the generator added glamour to the interaction.

Good news guys,  the Glo Free Data Day is back and it will hold by September 28, 2017. NCC stepped in and tried to stop the Free data day promo in which I thought would be the end of the Glo Free data day promo, but as thing stands now, it seems they have resolved all the issues concerning the proposed NCC embargo.

The major problem with Glo is the issue of their epileptic data signal, but if you do not have issues with Glo network then it's time to enjoy freebies. According to Glo;

"   You enjoy up to 200MB worth of data to browse your favorite websites, chat and stream videos, but customers need to meet set of voice and/or data usage threshold within 7 days to the free data day."

It is very easy eligible for the free data day offer, because if you are actively using the Glo network then it should not be a problem for you. To be eligible just fulfill the following threshold 7 days before the promo set day.

Use N150 or more on voice calls PLUS 100MB OR
Use N250 or more on voice calls.

If you meet the above requirements, you will receive an SMS announcing your eligibility for the free data day.

You don’t need to do anything to qualify for Glo Free Data Day, all Glo customers who meet the set threshold are eligible.

Thursday 28th of September is the day.

SportsManchester United Have Announced The Signing Of Nemanja Matic From Chelsea On A by smithsolord(op): 5:45pm On Jul 31, 2017
Manchester United have announced the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on a three-year deal.

The 28-year-old defensive midfielder joins for a fee believed to be £40m and re-joins manager Jose Mourinho, who brought him back to Chelsea in January 2014.

Matic becomes the Portuguese’s third signing of the summer after Romelu Lukaku (£90m) and Victor Lindelof (£39.5m) and takes United’s summer spending to over £150m.

The Serb said: “To work with Jose Mourinho once again was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. I cannot wait to meet my new team-mates and to start training with them.

“This is a very exciting time for the club and I am looking forward to playing my part in creating more history for this great club.. I have enjoyed my time at Chelsea and would like to thank the club and the fans for their support.”

Mourinho said: “Nemanja is a Manchester United player and a Jose Mourinho player. He represents everything we want in a footballer; loyalty, consistency, ambition, team player.

“I would like to thank him for his desire to join us because without that, it would be impossible to have him here. I am sure our players and supporters will love him. A big welcome to our new number 31.”

Mourinho was keen to add a defensive midfielder to his squad this summer and wanted to sign Eric Dier, but Tottenham insisted the England international was not for sale.

Matic was his second target and, despite Chelsea being understood to prefer to sell him abroad and interest from Juventus, the former Benfica man was keen to make the move to Old Trafford.

He was left out of Chelsea’s pre-season tour to Asia and the Blues have also signed Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco in his position to compete with N’Golo Kante.

Matic will now prepare for Manchester United’s next pre-season friendly against Sampdoria on August 2 and then Real Madrid in the European Super Cup three days later.

Mourinho said last month that he wanted at least a fourth signing if possible, and the club now have a month left of the window to land their top target; Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
