Education / What Is The Difference Between A School, A College And A University? by smpclippingpath(m): 10:26pm On Jun 11, 2018
In many countries of the world, a college is a secondary school and is very different than a university. In the United States, however, colleges and universities are quite similar. Often, both colleges and universities are referred to as schools. Generally, both colleges and universities in the United States are four-year institutions that offer a Bachelor of Arts degree or a Bachelor of Science degree. This is commonly known as an undergraduate or bachelors degree.

The main difference is that most universities also offer a higher level of study after you complete your bachelors degree - resulting in a masters degree or doctorate.

What confuses many international students is that Americans use the words school, college and university interchangeably in conversation. For example, someone may ask, Where do you go to school? In this case, they simply want to know what university you are attending.

Adding to the confusion, universities are often divided into sections that are referred to as colleges. The University of Idaho, for example, is organized into ten colleges, which include the College of Engineering, the College of Law and the College of Agriculture. No matter which of these colleges you attend, your degree will be issued by the University.

You will also hear the word college when people discuss two-year colleges. These colleges (also called community colleges or junior colleges) offer a degree called an associate degree. Many international students choose to get this type of degree and then transfer to a four-year college or university to study two more years to earn a bachelors degree.

You will want to pay close attention when you read or hear information about a school, college or university, but recognize that all the institutions share the same basic principle -- providing a challenging and exciting place to study and earn a degree!

Romance / How Did You Fall In Love? by smpclippingpath(m): 9:12pm On Jun 11, 2018
I investigated his brilliant green eyes, brimming with wickedness and love.

He gives the best kisses and embraces, and he's constantly upbeat to see me.

He strolls with me to class and every one of my companions love him as well. He generally welcomes them with so much euphoria.

That is the reason I experienced passionate feelings for my infant.

Either start at the local or state level and work with a congressman who is running for office.

Many need help, and there will be administrative or comparable jobs you can start at.
Romance / What Is The Most Romantic Thing Someone Said Or Did To You? by smpclippingpath(m): 3:43pm On Jun 11, 2018
Me and my boyfriend were living in two different cities. He is a really hard working guy and used to be always busy with work. We met like once in a month and used to talk over the phone like once in two or three days.

So it was a Friday night and I called him - after all the random conversations, he was like, ‘I’m really tired, we will talk tomorrow’. I was like, ‘Okay, bye goodnight, I love you!’.

The next day, Saturday afternoon, he called me and was like, ‘I have given a parcel to your friend. I have asked him to give it to you. Please go get it!’

I opened the door and there he was standing all tired and covered with mud and dirt. I was so damn surprised and the conversation went like -

Me - Wow, what are you doing here?

Him - I came to say I love you!

Me - You drove your bike for almost 8 hours (500 kms) to say I love you?

NYSC / What Things Should One Pack For NYSC Camp? by smpclippingpath(m): 9:40pm On Jun 06, 2018
First rule: Travel light! You don't know what the "last leg" of your trip will be like and you dont want to be burdened with too much luggage when riding a rickety "Bolekaja", a "long distance bike" or (if you were posted to Sokoto) a donkey. Remember it is more important to have access to finance and communication than to take your X-Box with you to youth service camp.

Second rule: Take money. You need a combination of cash and some money in a bank account with a branch close to your orientation camp. You will eventually get a Corps-issued bank account, but opening one yourself before going is a good idea. It's also good insurance against your luggage going missing or whatnot.

Third rule: Take the neccesary paperwork. Take all relevant documents- the last thing you want is to have to journey across the nation multiple times because you forgot your call-up letter. You will also be wise to take photocopies of relevant identification documentation such as your birth certificate (dont take originals of documentation that is not compulsory- people have lost important documents that way). Take all smart cards as well (should be part of the second rule)

Optional rule: Take "downgrades" of luxury items. In my opinion it is wise to take slightly less ostentatious or flashy versions of personal effects such as mobile phones and wristwatches. This means: buy a nice little flashlight Nokia and stow the android phone for the duration of orientation camp. You don't want to attract the wrong attention.
Investment / How Do I Find A Trustworthy Investment Advisor? by smpclippingpath(m): 8:44pm On Jun 06, 2018
It depends on how much you have for them to manage. If you have $1 million or more, buy Barron's for a while until they publish a list of trusted advisors. They do it at least once a quarteR. Some may require more than $1 million, but you should be able to find someone worthy of an inquiry.

Otherwise, do, do, do look for CFA or CFP designations. It really is a rigorous distinction that tells you the person is professional in his or her degree of preparation and commitment.

You should also go to Schwab to see what a respectable level of retail service looks like.

There's no getting rich overnight.

It's a lie.

Even if you go vital at an early stage, could break your growth.
Career / The British Always Think About Britain by smpclippingpath(m): 11:47am On May 26, 2018
Because it’s right there, all the time. Look out of the window: Britain. Look out of the door: Britain. Take the dog for a walk: Britain. Go to work and bugger me but there’s Britain again.

It’s almost as though we lived there.
Crime / The Perfect Crime by smpclippingpath(m): 1:15pm On May 25, 2018
Here's a perfect crime: one where a greedy man gives you all of his money willingly, and if you pull it off he doesn't even know you stole it from him.

In the world of confidence schemes, there is a class of long con where the grifter brings the mark in on an apparently illegal enterprise, such as insider stock trading or betting on a rigged contest. In fact, the whole enterprise is a sham for the mark's benefit and nothing illegal is being done other than the con itself. It can require a large cast of people to maintain the illusion.

The mark is allowed to see the enterprise in action and encouraged to invest their own money in it (though it should appear to be the mark's idea). To set the hook, maybe they're allowed to make a small investment and win a nice payoff. They go and withdraw as much money as they can with the promise of making it back many times over, and give it to the grifter. Then the grifter "brushes off" the mark by staging some tragedy which causes the mark to lose his money, though the fault is always assigned to some external actor and not the grifter. For example, the operation might be raided by people dressed as police at the crucial moment, "arresting" the actors and seizing all the money.

The grifter helps the mark to escape from the situation unharmed, and the mark goes on his way believing that the unfortunate situation was no fault of the grifter, and in fact the grifter saved him from a worse fate. He does not go to the police because he believes that he was himself involved in something illegal. In some cases the grifter can even fleece him again at a later date.
Crime / The Most Pointless Crime You've Witnessed by smpclippingpath(m): 10:02pm On May 24, 2018
When I was a young disgruntled youth, I was a shoplifter. I used magic tricks, sleight of hand, to steal just about anything I wanted. I had a slight Robin Hood justification for it. I only stole from big companies and gave to my friends. Cartons of cigarettes and chew, computer games and parts. Chains for our leather jackets. You know, important stuff.

So the only time I got caught and prosecuted was my most pointless crime.

I was caught stealing a Windows 95 upgrade disk out of a clearance rack at Target. It was marked down to 20 bucks, and I was showing off to a friend how good I was at getting games. But I already had all the cool games at the time, so I was getting my buddy something he needed.

I had a finger knife to cut the cellophane and help with cardboard or straps, I would get the disk and hide it in my jacket.

I got tackled leaving the store because I thought my friend bumped into me, and I may have tried bumping back a bit, but it wasn’t him smiley They charged me for 200$ in damages because they can charge the original full MSRP of the item, even if it was clearance. I went to a class to teach me how wrong it was to shoplift with a bunch of girls caught with jewelry.

Maybe it wasn't all that pointless because I stopped shoplifting right then.
Romance / Some Good High School Romance Animes by smpclippingpath(m): 9:51pm On May 24, 2018
There are a tons of Romance/High School Anime but you have to choose which suits in your genre/taste.

The most popular and interesting series I have watched is

Oregairu wink wink wink wink wink

The MC is Hikigaya (boy) who is lazy yet unconditionally solves problems of students/close ones using methods which makes people hate him.

From the fan craving material to analyse deeply to the individual seeking an entertaining drama, Oregairu succeeds in catering to multiple audiences and has a great deal of fun while it does so, though the second season is much better than the first. For complex character interaction and drama in a high school setting you can’t do much better. At the same time though, whether you find the writing clever or obnoxious will have a major influence on your enjoyment. I personally am happy to recommend Oregairu. It has 2 season so far and I bet you will enjoy it.

2. Nisekoi

I don’t recommend to people who don’t like harem anime. It is harem but MC ends with someone. (not spoiling). The story is all about MC’s promised love in his childhood. But MC cannot remember who she was.

3. Maid Sama!

This is my personal best. The MC is like parody character. You won’t regret watching this at all.

4. Special A

Probably another favorite. After Maid Sama this anime is almost same but with different story line.

5. Kimi ni Todoke (Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You: Reaching You)

Kuronuma Sawako is a very shy girl, so shy that she has been misunderstood as being malicious. She is compared to the ghost from The Ring and is called Sadako by her classmates. Rumors abound that she can see spirits and curse people. She idolizes the most popular guy in class, Kazehaya Shouta, due to his refreshing personality. When he starts talking to her, it seems like everything starts to change. Slowly, romance develops between the two.

One should not judge how good an anime series is based on its summary. Kimi ni Todoke may seem to have a common and simple plot, but it is a high school romance series that is a breath of fresh air to watch. Sawako is like many teenage girls who goes through periods of low self-esteem, but she is lucky to be with the most popular guy in school! This is a classic Cinderella-esque plot which many teenage girls’ dream of.

6.The Pet Girl of Sakurasou

Sorata Kanda is kicked out from his dorm for keeping a stray cat. He has to move into Sakura Dorm instead which is infamous for hosting misfit students. He finds it hard to get along with the life in the new dorm due to its bizarre residents. Later on, an artistic genius named Mashiro Shiina moves into the dorm whom Sorata thinks he should protect as she is essentially incapable of taking care of herself.

The main characters in the story have greater character development compared to the typical romantic comedy series. Each character of the main cast has a story behind them and is in no way one-dimensional. The story also focuses on the friendship between the students in the dorm. The romance is mainly between Kanda, who seems like a regular person with Shiina, who is a clumsy and odd girl. Sometimes, opposites attract as some are not necessarily attracted to a person with the same wavelength.

7. Toradora

Ryuuji Takasu is misunderstood as a delinquent due his intimidating looks, when in actuality he is really just a nice guy. On the other hand, Taiga Aisaka, whose nickname is Palmtop Tiger, is a cute but bad-tempered girl with a bad reputation. When the two meets, they do not get along well at first, but later on, they decide to work together in order to get close to their respective crushes.

Toradora! is about a pair of couple who do not like each other at first, but ends up falling for each other. It is a slice of life anime in a high school setting and the moments in the anime may remind you of the awkward or cute things that had happened in your school life! The characters bond with each other through friendship before love develops. Therefore, it gives you hope that the friendzone is not a permanent zone, as it can progress to a lovers zone!

There are many other Romance/high school anime which you can search based upon above recommendation.

Hope you will enjoy it.
