Even if the husband was all she said and wanted a model of what you guys 'have', she would have tried the suggestions your wife gave before 'giving up.'

She doesn't seem ready for marriage especially with her 'saucy' friend.

Since the husband is still interested in the marriage, there is still a solution.

Keep doing your Samaritan neighbor's part and help them with prayers. It is your business to mediate as they have brought it to your doorstep

Oga morning o. In my opinion I believe you are too involved in their marriage. Firstly it is only an irresponsible wife that visits neighbours everyday without reason. You and ur wife shouldn't have let it get that frequent. Its not a behaviour to encouraged and breeds over familiarity and disrespect. Another thing is when she started complaining about her marriage to u people, you should have known the kind of woman she was. That woman can set u up, she can cause issues between u and ur wife . She is not a wise person to associate with. However its not late to disassociate urself. Distance urself from their issues. Stop calling the woman. E no concern u. Let the man and his family sort it out. It would surprise u that when they are talking about their wahala or name would be mentioned. Over familiarity between neighbours dey always bring insult.

I have been hearing about this kind of issue but not seen one until it happened close to me. I know this might be a little bit long but i just want to put it out and learn from people to find a resolution.

Had we intervened in our own little way, would things have come out this way? This is the question have been asking myself since Monday when i heard of this issue.
I am still stunned and couldn’t believe what is happening, neither is my wife. How could two months old marriage crashed just like that without any remedy.

Have been hearing that marriages crashes but this one is somehow exceptional and called for various questions which are still unanswerable as at this moment.

I relocated to a new apartment which was a twin flat in a compound, my neighbour moved into the compound two months after us even though our money started reading at the same time. This was because they just had their wedding a week before they moved in.
Both of us in the building are young couples, i have been married for three years, we see ourselves as brothers as love birds, four of us in the compound were of the same age mate and our thought from beginning was that we will be able to relate very well with each other as young educated chaps.

Barely two weeks the newly married couple moved in, i called the attention of my wife to the fact that i don’t see our neighbours behaving like a newly wedded couple, at least love should still be in the air and we should be seeing them running over each other but reverse is the case. In fact most times when there was no light, i will be hearing their voice as if they were arguing. Moreover, the wife always wear a not too happy face most times

I and my wife agreed that, misunderstanding is bound to happen; they are new to marital life as such they are just trying to get to know each other very well. It is often said that first year of marriage is the toughest one as i could remember what we also went through during our first year but we endure due to our perseverance and parents counselling that we should always exercise patience with each other and today me and my wife understand each other very well now. We assumed, it was their own time too and they will overcome it.

Gradually we became a bit close with each other, i realized that the husband was an introvert who is always himself and you hardly see him outside while the wife was the opposite. When the husband is not around, the wife will come to our place, we will gist, talk, watch movies, musicals, euro 2016 together. In fact, i was surprise the wife knows about football and i used her as a reference point to my wife whenever we are watching football as she doesn’t have interest in any sport at all. The husband will call her whenever he comes back and the wife will go and meet her, sometimes she will come back while sometimes she might not come back again.

Let's stop all this bashing, some of us has been a silent follower on this thread and its alarming opening it today and seeing all this instead of normal stuff.

On a personal note, i think the guy did the right thing rather than keeping mute and not attending the interview at all without any reason. My only issue about his mail is that he shouldn't have suggested the means the employer should conduct their interview.

Some years ago when i got a job with one of the multinational fmcg, i was a living witness to how a potential employee can influence how and when he want employer to conduct interview. After going through like 3 stages of recruitment process, it was time for the final interview but i was stuck up with something and couldnt attend the interview, i replied the interview mail that i was a bit busy and not close to Lagos and requested reschedule for a week or two.
I was surprised when they responded if i will be less busy to spend up to two hours to conduct the interview via telephone and i responded in affirmative. The rest is history as i had the final interview via phone for close to two hours, got the job and was surprised virtually most of the recruitment team and management team were familiar with my name when i went to pick my offer letter.

N*B: The recruitment was not an individual one and over 25 people were employed with me and i was the only one given exception.

Sometimes it works when you give employer reason you couldnt attend an interview, they might consider request and find a means that will duit both parties.

This is an Executive recklessness. This issue is internal matter of Senate and as such the AGF has no jurisdiction whatsoever let alone interfere.

Even the UN doesn't interfere in issues of alleged war crimes committed by Soldiers during war if the country where the offence is committed has independent judicial institution that can handle the case. The Senate has the mechanism to amend, correct or jettison its internal rules and as such the Executive branch of government should stay clear and allow the Senate solve their internal matters.

It is time to defend democracy.

Not in support of the executives but the question begging for answer is WHO REPORTED THE CASE TO THE POLICE? I guess not a member of the executive arm.

If the senators that reported the case to the police believed it was an internal affair which can be resolved within themselves tgen why do they report it?

As a citizen, what will happen if you report a case to the police and they fail to investigate?

Put in another scenario (A family affair).......
Two sibblings fought with each other and one of them involve the police to arrest the other, will the father ask the police not to do their work because its a family affairs and internal matter?

Let's call a spade a spade, the AGF only acted on the recommendation of the police after investigation into the matter as he was not the one that initiated the move in the first place.
Saraki and Ekweremadu were arraigned because they are the major beneficiary of the forged document.

If he has paid, how did he pay? Did Tinubu pay for him or did he sell some of his cattle to pay or he took from Aso Rock.

and have you forgotten that Buhari has a pension which probably still goes to Union bank and monthly deductions for the loan can be coming from his pensions. (Former Head of State and Military Pension).

More so, most banks has this kind of facility for salary earners and retirees which monthly pensions are constantly paid into their account in their books.

Sometimes out of pure hatred for an individual, some people just love to display their dumbness with pride.

According to the said picture "N2 Billion Naira(not N2 million) was withdrawned IN CASH by Mr. Obanikoro, Ex-Minister of State for Defence"

How on earth is it possible to withdraw that amount of money "IN CASH" from a bank?

I shake my head for people that believe this is actually possible.

Oga, dont delve into what you have little knowledge about. 10billion can even be withdrawn from the bank in cash. All they have to do is go to the branch of cbn in the state to get the fund

Hi..... Thanks for this info..... I used camscanner to scan my passport with my fone.... Although the horizontal and vertical properties are really high but I want to use this method to do it tomorrow ....... Will it work or should I just use a normal scanner......

It should....what i used was even aa phone camera on a plain background, transferred it to laptop and resized

Plis guys, how do i resize a passport to the exact size of height:45 and width:35

Open the passport with paint application, click CONTROL W on your keyboard, you will see option of resize by percentage or pixel, click on pixel, change the number in horizontal to 132, vertical to 170, click ok and save the new size, you are good to go.

N*B: If the box is not allowing you to input the number, untick the box that have *maintain aspect ratio*, input the 132 and 170 then save.
