A Beauty / Cosmetics Company in Abuja is in need of an Executive Assistant on a contract basis for a 2 - 3 months period. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a small office .

Must have the ability to interact with people (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

Must also have :
Excellent management skills, including ability to coordinate activities
Experience assisting management with the creation of PowerPoint presentations
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint


Preferable Characteristics include:

· Experience in the makeup /beauty industry

· Customer service experience

· Bachelor's degree

Duration of contract: 2-3 months



The Executive Assistant will:

• Help manage output, workflow and office deadlines

• Take and relay accurate and timely messages from telephone callers, and answer queries where possible

• Handle mail addressed to the creative director

• Take minutes for all meetings.

• Draft, type and dispatch all correspondence

• Liaise with relevant individuals, external organisations etc to arrange meetings, prepare agendas and draft minutes

• Maintain a comprehensive filing system

• Co-ordinate trips for staff

• Research, media relations and promotional work

• Undertake any other duties as requested
