Hmm Hmm sounds funny though, Kaspersky 7 does the job perfectly well the steps are:

install kaspersky 7 on a clean system. connect the defected harddrive to this clean system through Usb or slaved IDE but dont run any programs including opening of my computer or whatsoever just run the on demand scanner from the antivirus control then scan. it scans and deletes all of it including it's additional so caled system process 'smss.exe'
