Docs for main applicant (11yrs study gap)
POF, Bsc cert, IELTS, IOM Tb cert, Passport data page
Docs for spouse (1 canada refusal declared last year)
Marriage cert, affidavit for wedding and change of name, newspaper change of name, POF (same as hubby), IOM Tb cert, Picmix of hubby and wife, passport data page
Docs for Child dependent (same for both of them)
Birth cert, Letter of consent signed by both parents, IOM certificate, passport data page, POF (same as main applicant)

Didn't upload any work evidence despite the study gap

*** Advice for expecting people.. Don't beat yourself, caseworkers are different. It will eventually end in praise by God's grace...***

Dear nairalander,

Please advise on how to track visa application that has been submitted.

Go to the first email you received from UKVI when you applied for your visa.

Click on the “student visa” link

Then put your password.

Click on continue my old application

Click on provide biometric and doc

You’d see the option TRACK in the next page
Click and wait for the page to open.

Happy New Year House!!

So I’m in a dilemma.
On the 17th of December I paid IHS and all booked hotel accommodation on Booking.com and uploaded my documents.

My Sch agent couldn’t get a close date for biometric. finally got January 4th for biometrics.

Now the main issue is with Booking.com.
I booked January 10th date. But with the biometric and 15days standard visa application, I may not meet that date and I have uploaded my documents with that date.

The main issue now is, I got an email this morning from Booking.com that my card will be charged tonight at 11pm.

What do I do?

I have been in this situation where I applied for a visa and the visa didn’t come out on time and I cancelled my booking because I didn’t want to lose my money(refund policy) and 2days later I was refused visa because of that.

Kindly advise what I should do.
I’m really confused right now.

As one who used to live in Hatfield, I'd say the cost you have quoted sounds about right. More so if you are looking at 2 bedroom houses as against flats.
You may wish to consider Brookmans Park, Welham Green or Colney Heath for accommodation which should be cheaper to Hatfield and accessible via Uno bus to the University.

Thanks and I am sorry Mr Justwise. We planned Priority for her but it was removed from TLS website. It is for my sister and the guy already collected money from another person for POF so he won't be happy to leave it for another 15 days even now that I am ready to pay him extra, the other person that promised just failed to fulfil his promise. All tuition fees has been paid. I just don't want the account to be empty before the decision is made . The application has been received by DMC already

My friend just got her CAS. Her admission letter and every document she has had her 3 names but on this her CAS, they only indicated her *first name* and *last name* and no mention of her other name.
Please will it be an issue?.

Hi,
She should contact her school Agent in Nigeria or the school directly if she isn’t using a school representative by replying the mail that issued her CAS, stating the omission of her other name so a new CAS number can be generated.

Every detail on her CAS letter has to be the same as her admissions.

I had an issue where my course title major was omitted, I contacted my School rep in Nigeria via mail (replying the notification of CAS Mail) and pointed out the error and immediately I was told not to use that CAS number within an hour a new CAS number was generated for me and my details updated.

It’s important that everything on your CAS letter must tally with your admissions Name, Student ID & course title and date of birth.
