We are pleased to inform you that, following a thorough evaluation of applications received for the Project Associate (G6) role at WFP Nigeria, you have been identified as a pre-selected candidate for a fixed-term appointment.

In preparation for the next steps of the onboarding process, we kindly request that you submit the following documentation no later than Sep 23, 2025:

Signed Letter of Appointment (attached)
Valid BSAFE Certificate
Valid EQNEXA Certificate
Attached to this email, you will find your Letter of Appointment along with the link to the Staff Regulations and Staff Rules (ST/SGB/2023/1/Rev.1) and the link to the WFP Code of Conduct, which are applicable to this position. Please note that the Letter of Appointment will be counter-signed on our end after we receive the signed version from you along with the requested certifications by the specified deadline.

As part of mandatory onboarding, all WFP appointees are required to complete the United Nations' BSAFE training on personal safety and security awareness. You may now access the BSAFE platform and register using your email address via this link, or at https://training.dss.un.org.

In addition, we ask that you complete the EQNEXA training, a course focused on inclusive workplace practices and cross-cultural competence. Developed by certified diversity professionals, EQNEXA is required for all staff appointed to field-based and multicultural duty stations. EQNEXA can be accessed at https://eqnexa.org.

Should you be unable to obtain access to EQNEXA training in your region, we accept EQLEM certification as an alternative. EQLEM can be accessed at https://eqlem.org.

Please note that both EQNEXA and EQLEM are delivered by external providers. While a modest course fee may apply, reimbursement by WFP can be considered after your official entry on duty and successful completion of the probationary period.

Important Reminders:

This offer remains valid only upon receipt of the signed Letter of Appointment and the two required certificates by Sep 23, 2025.
If these items are not received by the deadline, the offer will automatically lapse on Sep 24, 2025.
Once your documentation is reviewed and the background verification is complete, we will follow up to confirm your starting date and final interview schedule (if applicable).
