Good evening guys. A friend is inviting me to the US and hes taking care of the airfare. He sent me his credit card reading. Do i need a separate account statement from him for the B2 Visa interview ?

I have also printed my account statement. Urgent suggestions needed.

Go to the immigrant thread, you will get your answers there

Messi4441:
Someone should reply to this please

No one can actually guarantee you that until you give t a shot yourself

If you're interview date is is way after resumption, please ask for extension letter BUT it's most ideally when if it's just 2 weeks interval

topsykoko:
Hello guys,
Well done everyone and keep up the good job.
I want to make an enquiry on my F1 visa, i got a visa interview date of 28th Sept which is after school resumption of 29th Aug. I then applied for an emergency appointment after attaching my I-20 but was refused. Please can i get advise on how to move forward as i am skeptical about waiting till September. My application is for Lagos Embassy.
I would sincerely appreciate the help.

Get an extention letter from the school and check if the school allow online schooling as your interview is so late for a month after resumption.

Just ask your school to give you a letter of extension and prepare to defend that at the embassy

masquellett:
Hello guys, I need someone to be brutally honest with me.

I was given admission into two schools for MSC Accounting, now the issue is:

Interview is in august the 17th. First school starts August 19th. School will not extend I-20 or give letter of extension to me. That is the same school I filled in my DS-160 form for visa interview. I also intend on going for the interview with my two kids both on F2.
Also, second school starts August 28th. What are my options?
Should I update my interview profile with the I-20 from the second school and go alone to the interview without my kids? because I can only update my profile with the new ds-160 number. It does not allow me to update my kids ds-160 forms in the online profile.
OR differ my admission to spring to properly get an earlier date and prepare for school.

I will appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

cc: justwise, MemoriesAndMe, sobastical, yinkhar, Amazon2190,

If you really wanna go with your kids I'd advice you to defer BUT you can just fill new DS-160 and update your profile. But the time frame is very close. I will advice a deferment and then go for the interview by October or November

Win121:
Hello house,

I have been following this thread for a while now and have learnt a lot thanks to you guys who keep answering questions and giving your bright ideas.

Pls I have a serious concern.
My sister Inlaw is in USA on F1 visa last year meant to finish this year and my sponsor is her husband whom is my brother, also I put her US address as my landing address when I enter USA. Now I have two concerns:

1). Since her husband is my Sponsor, should I declare that I have a relation in USA on my DS 160 form or not??

2). Will my sponsor or the address info link me to her and show the VO that I actually have a relation in the USA if I say no(cos that’s what I really want to do)??
I appreciate your responses 🙏🏾

I will strongly advise you to not declare that you have any relation in US especially when they are also on F1 visa. Take heed

Sisib15:
I take God beg Una pls be careful o A friend of mine in the US just called that her friend (not someone I know personally) went for her interview today, she was self sponsored but the agent had edited her i-20 to show that she was funded by the school. She was granted the visa but it seems the VO checked the i-20 on his system after she left and realized there were two different things. They called her back using a public address system and the VO asked for her funding letter which she could not provide, he then collected her white paper, returned her passport /gave her 221g administrative processing letter and told her to send them the funding letter via the consulate email, ofcourse they will confirm from the school. I don’t think I need to tell you that this ll probably end in a visa ban. Agent is telling her to write email to school now to beg them for funding, even if it’s 5k.. see how crazy that sounds? He don commot hand. This will put the school, Nigerians in general, and even funded students on

Ozzy15:
Good morning,

I was refused UK visa in 2013,but currently have 2 expired US visas, 5 expired schengen visas, 1 current 5year US visa, 1 current 4years Canadian visa. Is it safe to apply for two years? Since it would be my first UK issued visa.

Yes sir

Me: I applied to 4 schools, University of…
VO: cuts in… How many admitted you?

Psychology played out well here though

All VO are well trained psychologist and you must know that

Good day house,
I’m currently in the process of getting my i 20, I want to know if the balance on the statement of account of my sponsor should be equal to or above the cost of attendance. Or does the school want to just see the inflow and out flow of the bank account?

The balance just have to be way above and must be an active account as well.
