lifeofgolden1:
Hi, thank you for this information.
But I have a question.

Does it mean if you fill your DS-160 using Lagos as the location, you can choose to have your interview in Abuja?

Your interview shouldn't be necessarily tied to the DS-160 location, right?

I anticipate your kind response.

Why not?

There was a reason for the location in the first place

Chrishertz8:
Please if I apply with my 2year old, will i be required to pay 157k for her too?

Its on the usatravelsdoc site

2Banty:
Hey guys,

I am visiting Nigeria for thé first time in years this December. Will my American debit and credit cards work in Nigeria?

Open an account with Opay or Palmpay to save the stress

Firstleoqueen:
Good evening house...

OnuohaE:
Good morning everyone. Please i would like to know if i could get my visa approved together with my dependents if i get a fully funded phd studies in USA

Yes with a well detailed and correct application(fundings too)

Obiedun:
But it is not far

From that under-bridge (linking general hospital) its not that far but apart from that place...its far

OGsponstaneous:
@justwise

Obiedun:
Take Ikeja bus. At ikeja ask for the way. It is even trekkable depending on where you are going

From ikeja, its not trekkable

TemplarLandry:
Lol. You're going to TLS Contact right?

Comrade answer simple question na...Haba!

evergreen9:
Please how do I get to TLS Ikeja from Berger using the blue bus? Can anyone help me with the direction?

From Berger, you should be able to get a bus going to Maryland and if not, then board a bus to ikeja from Berger then board another bus from ikeja to Maryland

cyrusmillz:
Thanks for the reply. But I think most applications will require a place for your passport number . How do I go about that?

Then wait till you get the new one cos there is no way you can use the old PPT number and ask for correction later on.

Ebukavlog:
Good morning guys.
just
Please I want to know if I still have a chance to apply for a visa for a school starting in January 2024.

Should I put the POF in my account as a lump sum or gradually deposit it?

I will also appreciate any telegram or WhatsApp UK student visa group link.

You still got lot of time to put in your application towards resumption next year.
As for the funds, I don't think lump sum deposit is still advisable to do... To be on safe side, just use the other option of gradual deposit.

All the best!

giselle237:
ur mother can not have 700 pounds and say she is using 500 pounds to sponsor her trip of 1 month. Pls dnt try it as she is not expected to liquidate her account balance in this way for a trip she can not afford. Also ur sister just came in Sept 2023, pls ask ur mother to reduce her stay on the visa form. 2 weeks is ok.

The sponsor also does not have funds.
3000 usd is about 2400 pounds.
This is not good for a sponsor. U guys should try and wait until u have enough funds. All this is so rushed because I don’t understand the essence of the trip just now when funds are limited.

If u still want to go ahead u will submit ur student sister’s BRP and all your US sponsor’s own documents as well.

What’s going on gan gan with all these rushed applications heading for refusals?

Let them dash out free money to the UK immigration na

GboyegaD:
Wear whatever you are most comfortable in. If it is a working day and you will be going to the embassy from work or returning to work after the interview, dress the way you would to work and you can step it down a bit. If otherwise, then dress the way you would like to on that day.

And if he's going to 'owambe'...he can wear his babariga or agbada

solorems:
Please do let me know, if you have gotten any feedback on this, as my is at the smae level.
What I am thinking, is that, this is pecuilar to only Lagos embassy, because people said there are dates in Abuja

I think they did that to curb those that hoard the date or racketeers

Ninomitchs:
Please can someone please explain the meaning of 'graduate assistantship'. I stumbled upon this question in my application "would you like to apply for a graduate assistantship?"

Also someone should please explain this:

"In accordance with the Family and Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, you have the right to view the letters of recommendation. By selecting "I waive my right to access this recommendation", you are waiving your rights to view and inspect the letters. Once you add a recommender, you will no longer be able to change your decision about whether to waive your right."

I do not understand how adding a recommender restricts someone from viewing the letters of recommendation. I wish to view the letters of recommendation after I have added my recommenders.

According to Google

What is a Graduate Assistantship? A graduate assistantship is a salaried student employment opportunity for graduate students. Graduate assistants work a set number of hours per week and, in return, receive a tuition waiver and, oftentimes, a monthly living stipend.

Eventus31:
Good day every one.
Please I need assistance, My Wes Evaluation has been completed since 7 June 2023 but I am yet to receive a copy and I reached out to Wes and I was assured it was sent through standard delivery to my location but I haven’t gotten any file. Another one was sent on the 14th of august but still not received it. How do I trace it since standard delivery does not have any tracking information.

Politely ask them for a tracking number or you visit the nearest post office

Icesnow:
Can you change from visiting visa to study visa?

Nope!
