it's only skin cancer that is scientifically proven to be more prevelant in whites and other races compared to blacks due to melanin, but other forms of cancer affects each race equally. it's just westerners have the means to detect it compared to Africans.

It's a known fact though that Western/developed countries have a higher rate of cancer compared to other regions of the world, it's been documented.
Politics / Re: Bayo Onanuga: Nigeria’s Wealth Overestimated, Country Very Poor by Sochieke: 7:06am On Feb 13
Nigeria is actually poor, the issue is when Nigerians hear 1 trillion naira, the think its a huge amount, its actually not for a country of 200 million, 1 trillion naira is equivalent to a billion dollars, some major companies make that in a day not "countries" just companies. The country needs other sources of income, oil isn't enough for such a huge population, even if they were producing Russia and Saudi levels of oil which they dont and can't.

Travel / Re: Why Do Most Nigeria Streets Look Like This? by Sochieke: 12:59am On Sep 08, 2023
In my opinion. Nigerians also have destructive mindset and shortcut mindset. Go to Ojodu berger, they refused to use the pedestrian bridge and Instead the destroyed the steel barricades that prevented people from crossing the road on highway just because of short cut. Is that how developed countries behave?

They should have known big brother is about notoriety whether good or bad, as soon as people started talking about you, you're the likely winner.

come to think of it most ilebaye supporters like tatiana, i'm pretty sure they weren't rooting for her when she walked in to the house, must be bandwagon effect after that Ike scenario.

Big brother really spilt this year show, shouldn't have played that conspiracy video, should have just said Ike didi it and sanctioned him but conspiracy is part of the game and he shouldn't have aired it.

I don't know if Ilebaye's grace is supernatural or not, but i want to claim such grace in Jesus name.

E just dey wonder me how person wey no even last 4 weeks for her set, she's now the favorite amongst winners and finalists.

I watched almost the entire of Level Up season, i barely noticed her at all, was she shy or what, the only time i noticed her was when she had the beauty scuffle.

Check the first week of this thread, she doesn't even have much mention, adekunle, pere, cee-c dominated and fast forward 5 weeks later, she dominates

I want that kind of grace abeg, grace where you go rise from almost nothing to something.

She's not my favorite, my fav is already out but i off cap for her grace, Ilebaye's grace favor me in Jesus name

Wish that Hermes was here. I think he was probably the most competitive HOH player in the history of BBN. Didn't he win like 3 HOH's and came second too last year.

Has there been anyone that was as competitive?

Eloswag was also competitive last year, don't forget
CHOMZY. Has any woman in BBN history been as good as CHOMZY

I really like Atiku's brand of politics. No bitterness.

Till today I've never seen him insult another politician. He doesn't even respond when others insult and abuse him.

Win or lose, he goes on with his life, this is how politics should be not do or die affair

Also I'm hearing its quite difficult to get jobs without certification even if you have experience previously.

Why are people recommending SCRUM master certification

Please how did the national assembly election go. Who lost and gained new seats.

PDP needs a rebuild after this election. They should make it a pyrrhic victory for APC. They have a chance to win majority of gubernatorial election and set themselves up for 2027.

Majority of LP voters are still PDP voters.

Atiku shouldn't just return to Dubai. Let him help campaign for PDP gubernatorial candidates in the north especially in the states he won.

Obi mania will die down a little before the Gubers.

Ayu needs to clean house before he resigns and set up the party for he future.

PDP still remains my party.

Politics / How PDP And Atiku Can Move On From The Defeat by Sochieke: 12:19am On Mar 01, 2023
Everything is now clearer. APC won this election and it was because of one thing. Lack of unity in the PDP especially regarding Obi and Atiku. But that's forgone conclusion.

Moving forward. There's actually hope for the party. I think PDP should channel it's energy on winning the majority of the gubernattorial election, this will position the party for 2027.

PDP is likely taking back Imo, Ebonyi and Cross River, I'm predicting Obi fever will die down a little bit before the gubernatorial election.

They will lose Benue but will take back Plateau.

They will make huge in roads in the north. This is where Atiku could help. He shouldn't just return to Dubai.

If he loves the party, let him campaign vigorously for the gubernatorial candidates especially for the state he won. Especially in Kano, Gombe, Katsina, Yobe, Sokoto and hopefully PDP will emerge controlling more states and position itself for 2027.

Yobe State Presidential Election.

PDP wins

APC-151,459
PDP-198.565
DIFFERENCE: 47,106
APC win 5 LGA
PDP win 12 LGA

This is happening for the first time!

With the look of things now

Atiku has huge deficit to pay

Roughly

300k from Kano

480k from Lagos

220k from Ondo

150k from Ekiti

220k from Ogun

240 from Oyo

Something around 1.6 million votes.

He has

23k from Osun

180k from Gombe

6k from Katsina

120k (still counting) from Gombe

The game is still open because Kaduna, Sokoto, Jigawa, Yobe, Bauchi, and others from the North can still give him something but may not be much. South South has a role to play if Atiku wants to win.

Let's say Tinubu wins north central but with small margin. Can Atikus total in both south south and soth east cover noth central margin.

So can Atikus total in both north west and north east cover Tinubu margin in south west. That's how I see it.

What is shekerau even doing for Atiku in Kano. I thought he was still very influential considering he once defeated kwankwaso singlehandedly.

It will be bad for him if Atiku no see 25% for Kano.

Guys any report on how Atiku is doing in Delta considering his vice is from there. I know Rivers don pass am. What about Edo and Cross River. Is he at least second in those states

Atiku might win the south south oh. I heard he's leadig in Bayelesa and Akwa Ibom. Can he win Delta. If he wins those three. He will win the south south.

How's he doing in Cross River. I know he's doing bad in Rivers. But can he win at least 4 states.
Politics / Re: Tinubu Deserve Victory by Sochieke: 10:51pm On Feb 26, 2023
It's actually the obidients that gave him victory. How they thought from he begining that they could win the election is beyond me.

Nigeria is not westernized nation with educated voters and high urbanization.

Most voters here are rural and the educated populace is smaller than the uneducated.

That's where structures come in play. Politicians can influence these uneducated voters with cash and giveaways.

People should have understood this before now

That is exactly what we have been telling you guys.

If the north is United, then they only need one southern Bloc which they did in 2015.

The south west is not special in that regard.

They may decide to use the south south or even the south east in future elections.

And that is because the South is not United due to greed.

Anyway, the north is split in this election.

And with population growth. Soon they won't need the south to win only for 25% spread.

How many people for south dey marry 4 wives and 20 children.

I keep saying it by the next three election. They north will be even more dominant than now. Fulani + Hausa is already 50% of Nigeria. By 2031. They could reach 55 to 60%.

You think Tinubu is worshipping the north now. Think what southern politicians will be doing to gain favor with northern voters by 2031

Politics / Re: 2023 Presidential Election Results From Polling Units by Sochieke: 9:23am On Feb 26, 2023
The G5 good governors are quite overrated though.

I'm hearing ikpeazu, uguwuanyi and ortom have lost heir senatorial bids or on the verge of losing. But these governors were going to help Atiku win their states, when they can't even help themselves.

It was always Obi all the way preventing an Atiku presidency not Wike or G5

HIGHESTPOPORI:
And how will Tinubu win when he is only sure of Sw win narrowly

He's winning north central and close in both ne and nw.

Even if atiku wins both ne and nw which is a big if, he wins with small margin. Tinubu will cancel that margin with wins in SW and NC.

Even if obi wins se and SS. He won't get anything significant in the biggest voting regions (nw and ne). He isn't doing well in SW apart from Lagos. He can't win NC either.

Anyway you permutate it. Tinubu wins by total votes. He and and Atiku will get national spread but he wins by Total votes.

Politics / Re: 2023 Presidential Election Results From Polling Units by Sochieke: 8:59am On Feb 26, 2023
My take from this election

If Tinubu wins it would 99.9% percent because of obidients and 0.5% because of G5 governors.

In fact the G5 is overrated, if the governors themselves are losing their senatorial bids.

Igbos are way too emotional. There was no chance Tinubu would be this close to victory if they had voted PDP even with G5 governors.

Soludo warned them.

It would have been a bloodbath victory for PDP if they were united.

2027 is warning to them. Will depend of how Tinubu does
