The reason I quoted the OP is that I disagreed on his stance that insinuated one could contract an infectious (skin) disease from a used mattress, I stated the worst case scenario that I've heard.

While I would not support getting a used mattress that has an opening, cos bugs and the likes could be napping inside. But if that's the type of mattress you can afford; as long as you have sanitised it properly to rid it of those crawling creatures, you can go ahead and use it.

Some mattresses could have been neatly used without stains and some rarely used so they haven't begun to compress like the mouka comfy type that compresses after a while. So depending on usage, they are still as good as new after sanitising.

For health reasons, I'll always suggest people buy their own mattresses brand new. You don't want to know what some mattresses have been through.

A family friend once decided to dispose off a new looking big mattress, and when asked why, she was ashamed to say there were bedbugs all over it, so my sister asked for the mattress and got it for her guest room. The day I focused on that mattress, I killed about 100 bedbugs.

Some used mattresses are carrying skin diseases, there are people who when they lose a loved one from an infectious diseases, they dispose off the mattress and other beddings the person used. These may end up in the marketplace. Of all things, a mattress is one I recommend you buy brand new.

I don't know what infectious skin disease you could contract from sleeping on a used mattress. Maybe you'd have to school me on that, cos worst I've heard of is a skin irritation in the form of rashes or the sort.

I believe a used mattress that has been well sanitised before accommodation is as good as new, depending on prior usage.

She's the one in that picture I strongly believe. I was in Abuja when she posted her items. I immediately reached out to her for personal pick up. But she declined giving the excuse of working very late Monday to Friday.... With the experience of deargally here for some people I clearly refrained from dealing.

Fast forward to Saturday I called and informed her one of my boys will be coming for pickup and payment on sighting and receiving. She gave a non specific address Sauka newsite beside football field. Lugbe.... She agreed to escrow and even called to ask for when he'll be coming.... But her number wasn't reachable to the person to pickup and pay..... I tried too it was off. I'm of the opinion that the battery that would be put in the phone if I repair at the service center would be of superior quality, from Xiaomi themselves.
