u re kinda confusing me, believing in God, puting the bible away, though what makes you more of a christian is Christ in you, giving you his glorious ever pulsating life, and you living in this reality of his grace. but notice that this realities are not spelt out in space but in the scriptures(bible). u can't love God and detest his words.

No doctrine should deny you, no religious mind should hold us. break up those fallow grounds and come up hither. Remember tongues where not limited to the first apostles. cornellious was filled with the evidence of speaking in tongues. acts 10:44-47. peter remarkably said in vs 47 that they(cornellious) recieved the same spirit they received. Wonderfu!! this was the comforter,helper, that was promised; the holy spirit.
Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. So we should speak, its a sign of our believing . This does not mean you are not a good christian if u Dnt speak in tongues, it means speaking in tongues fast forward your growth.

THIS IS NOT PRIDE: I spoke in tongues for 3hrs over the night with some brethren . so sweet a feeling with amazing prophecies. get in the flow. your desire can do a lot. God bless

I was praying like 3 months ago, and the holy ghost told me to pray for pakistan, and a few hours later a targeted bomb blast was averted. many others. the gift of the spirit is better experienced not told. get in the flow

I still wonder why people should still argue if Jesus is the son of God, not only that he is a son of God with mouth, but he proved to be, rom1:4, no other person talked like Jesus, he said I lay down my life and take it up again. WOW. he said in john 10: 36, they said he blasphemed because he acclaimed himself to be the son of God. Am not surprised the OP thinks we re blaspheming Christ either. (this means he said it: and they could not stand it for saying so). the same way you can't stand and believe it.
He even said I and my father are one. (we are alike,the same) john 10:30.
not only is he the son of God, he is eternal, and will come again. (the beginning and the end. This is an attribute of God) he is God, hard? NO, check Rev 1:8,11,18, Philippians 2: 6-11.
believe and understand, only God can teach his ways not man, and his way is the bible

the silence to me means they is no point to argue here. the bible is God's final word, second to none else, remember what was written in that same book, 1 john 5: 9-10 #that is the most important thing as far as the God I serve is concerned. JESUS
