Our Experienced Web team produce web platforms for enterprise clients, providing complex solutions in content management, digital marketing, and e-commerce. Primarily working with Open Source software, the team are first and foremost engineers, putting software engineering at the heart of professional delivery.

As part of our software engineering team, the technologies you will use are constantly evolving, so one of the most important skills you will bring as a software engineer is the ability to adapt to change, and apply engineering principles to new technologies.

What you’ll do

As a passionate and driven PHP Web Developer you will bring innovative and flexible approaches to:

Study Existing framework written in PHP and MySQL and Delivering first class user experiences, building content management solutions, e-commerce, and bespoke web applications based on requirement.
Develop high quality code, with an eye on re-use, performance and deploy-ability, and adhering to both solution designs and Company coding standards
Work in cross functional teams in an agile delivery process, either in a feature team or new site build to deliver projects for clients
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, practices, tools and technique
What you’ll bring

To get the most from this role you’ll have:

Knowledge of Ecommerce platforms like OpenCart
Excellent knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and CSS (Bootstrap), including Object Oriented techniques, Mcrypt Extension, GD library, Curl, SOAP and design patterns.
Good all round Web and Mobile development experience, including awareness of best practices and standards and ability to work alone and unsupervised.
Experience of developing web solutions in an integrated environment, with an understanding of how to optimise solutions to gain performance and stability
Strong Client Facing skills and ability to understand their key drivers
A willingness to learn, grow and stretch into new technologies, roles and different industries.
Subversion experience especially Git version control.
Basic Linux command and FTP tools like Putty, Winscp or FileZilla. Apache, Nginx and IIS web Server experience would be a plus.
