He did not adopt a jackboot style in dealing with governors like OBJ and presently Tinubu. He gave them their space and independence. I am beginning to see BATists as very undemocratic lots. You seem to idolise people who abuse power as long as they fit your bias.

El-Rufai can say whatever he wants now. The bottomline is he already wrote in his book that it was Buhari who asked him to run for gov and it was on Buhari's wings he won.

Sam is writing his tribute with outright insultsa nd reproachful remarks about Buhari. What makes this more shocking is that he is an employee of BAT. The treachery is stunning
Sam's stands has never changed. He wasn't an ass licker of Buhari when he was alive. This whole noise you are all making and trying so hard to blow out of proportion is because he talks about Peter Obi as Obi his. Infact making an Obi of him. Sam's stance was so clear during the Presidential primaries when it was so obvious that Buhari was in support of Tinubu. But guess what his wife Aisha was and she shows it openly against her husband. So when you are talking about control, who is should be more under Buhari's control. His own wife or governors who are chasing their own political ambition.

Rubbish. Absolute rubbish
Let me remind you that Buhari made the governors and not the other way round
If Buhari had insisted on a northern candidate, the worst the govs could have done is cry. They can't touch a hair on his popularity with his base. It is not for nothing that even as he did not want Tinubu, Tinubu still warmed up to him and pulicly courted him at every turn towards the elections. If Tinubu was so sure of the electoral might of the govs, he would have packed Buhari to one side after winning the primaries
Buhari might have made the governors but he didn't have control over them. Of course that was what they demonstrated. Most of you don't understand this game of politics at all.

A few days before Buhari died. Didn't you hear what El Rufai said about the man?! Why are you all acting surprise because of Sam?!

So Buhari is this Bad.
But non of his Supporters or the Media was able to criticize him in his face,
It was all praises.
It's still these people who are praising the current President, are Criticizing Buhari now he is Late.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUHARI REGIME AND THIS PRESENT REGIME
I hope you know that almost all the praise singers of Peter Obi today used to be his critic in the past. This is my point, religion and ethnic sentiment are among of the most deadly diseases affect8ng Nigeria.

Didn't El Rufai also not speak like this journalist few days before Buhari died?!

After the Tinubu Government, I am super- sure that Sam Omatseye would move out of this country .

He is punching not just above his pay grade but above his charismatic limits, hope he knows that Buhari's followers will read this article and he thinks they will not react ?

Can he better be advised to take down this article ?
Buhari's wife said more than this when he was alive. What he has written is in no way to spite anyone but as a journalist you need to call a spade a spade. My question is, was that all that he wrote? He made beautiful remarks about Buhari which are also true about him. The question is did Buhari really incur such an amount of debt?! If truly he did, why should anyone feel upset unless a lie is being told against him.

Kalulu44:
My friend even if Buhari supported Lawan as you claimed. Did Buhari supporters vote for APC or not. Or you want to systematically removed Buhari huge supports of votes from the equation.
All it takes now for Tinubu not to get those votes again even as Buhari is dead is for his real henchmen to against Tinubu and poisoned the mind of Buhari supporters against Tinubu and Tinubu will not get their votes
His supporters questioned his integrity for the choice of Lawan in his face. That was what the APC governors did. Please remember this and have peace.

Kukutente23:
What is this one saying?
Lawan was on the ballot for the Presidential elections in the alternate universe you live in abi
Read what I wrote above so that you can also have some level of solitude.

Can you imagine the audacity from The Nation!!

This is purely spitting on Buhari’s dead body

For all the flowery and colourful verbiage, he got some facts wrong

Buhari showed off his ballot paper not voters card
He couldn't bring his discipline to bear on our national life because of the crowd he got himself in a bid to become president.

Will Omatseye's paymaster be happy if Buhari took his war against corruption to the gate of all corrupt leaders regardless of status and stature?

This piece is just another example of the treachery being meted on Buhari from the BATist crew
I hope you can read clearly. Buhari supported Lawan. This is to re emphasize to those who think Buhari's death will have a negative impact on Tinubu's re-election can see now that Tinubu didn't climb the shoulder's of Buhari to be President. Tinubu fought his way through, jumping over hurdles both internal and external hence 2027 won't be any different. It's going to be a win again with or without Buhari.

To answer your questions sir

See link below if you need the evidence of families

See link below if you can explain how 103 bodies are suddenly to be buries by LASG when nobody died...these must be empty bodies not humans.

Also , we need to stick with the truth,...the protest at the toll gate was peaceful, onky measure of violence was inflicted by the soldiers who shot live bullets at protesters who sat on the ground waving nigerian flags and singing the anthem.
There were some clashes in mushin and some other parts of lagos and looting including the burning of a police station before this day but the police had it under control.

The real mayhem was on the 21st and 22nd of October after the Lekki shooting and the security forces that viciously shot at unarmed protesters were not around to fight off the arsonists and looters ..

......let's not distort history for the sake ofmthe souls departed......impunity and Karma are twins , they work together ...let's come together to speak the truth and promote rule of law ....its the lekki victims today , nobody know who it will be tomorrow.

Obviously people died , and they have faces and family
I know that you will come up with the burial thing. One which has been clarified. There is no how there can be massacre of people and it will be so difficult to prove.
Politics › Re: How Long Will Our Leaders Continue To Die In Overseas Hospitals by Softmirror:
eejo:
Yesterday a former president passed away in London and this add to long list of Nigerian leaders who died outside their Father land because they failed to develop our Healthcare system. Nigerians are dying every day due to poor healthcare system but leaders don't care because of overseas treatment but I have a message for the leaders, some Healthcare Emergencies requires urgent action and the day it happens death might occur before your plane lands abroad. Mr president fix our Healthcare system and save lives because you never know when Healthcare emergency can happen.
There is nothing wrong with our health care system. A major reason why these leaders travel out of the country and get treated in such a way that is so private is really because of how certain people will choose to use their illness against them in mocking them. Pictures of Buhari on a sick bed in Nigeria, looking so sick would have graced some headlines of Newspapers and blogs all in a bid to tarnish him. Hence, the move to where their privacy is safe. This is one of the reasons.

Buhari banned X (Twitter) because of his fragile ego.

He refused to transmit power to his Vice as constitutionally required despite not being in good health or in the country for months.

I don’t even want to talk about the Lekki Toll Gate massacre.

He made nonsense of the economy and allowed criminals to operate freely in his cabinet.

After destroying the country, he supervised a fraudulent election that brought a terrible successor who has continued from where he stopped in their Nigeria destruction agenda.

Which institution did he reform?

Even electoral reforms he couldn’t leave behind.
It is very much understandable. The truth of the matter is. Buhari took away food from the table of those who were eating with Jonathan. And ever since such people have never stopped lamenting, crying and ganishing their teeth.

No amount of whitewashing can ever erase the wicked atrocities and treasonable things the catastrophic Buhari-led APC government did to the other ethnic nationals and image of this nation.
-This man gave his marauding and killer Fulani brethren the leeway to invade this nation on an annihilation conquest which had persisted till date. Yakubu Baraje said the import these killer to win 2015 election yet has never been picked or interrogated by the DSS.

-Imagine Mali and Nigeria Republic delegation crossing unchecked from their respective nations to Kano to campaign for him against all known electoral laws in 2018.

-Imagine the well known BH terrorists sponsors caught by the UAE and forwarded to his govt that he did nothing about. Isah Pantami case is still fresh.

Me ,hard as I try, icanrbring myself to believe that Buhari died yesterday
Reasons:
1. No news and visuals of his illness
2.All the existing rumors of his dying years back
3 will Nigerians be given the privilege of feein his corps up close?
4 His wife has been away for so long in Dubai I think
And the rumours of him using a body double to complete his tenure for the north and Nnamdi Kanu Claus back then.
These are nothing but conjectures. Come up with concrete evidence and not all these laughable guesses here and ther. You will always read words such as 'i think', 'may be', 'it could be', not definite, just assumptions.

Once the government perceives you might be a problem for them either in the elections or in the future you can be targeted with zero recourse to you committing a crime
Why will a government perceive you to be a problem if you are not a problem.

If you are a Obi supporter, especially a grown man with children and wife and you are not doing the same or trying to do the same like PeterObi. Wash your cloths, sweep the house, wash the toilets, clean the gutters despite been privileged
enough to easily get people do it for you. Then you are not a true supporter of Peter Obi.

There will be a realignment which will still be in favor of President 'TALK and DO'. The most beautiful part which cannot be denied by those who hate Tinubu is the fact that Buhari didn't hand pick Tinubu as his successor, a gesture which made his bitter haters so happy then.

Tinubu actually fought his way to success, elevating himself by the Grace of God above so many stumbling blocks to become President.
Tinubu's re-election is 1000000000% with or without Buhari.
