Validated: Two can play the game. Since PDP approves of Wike's hobnobbing with APC, other PDP chieftains can do the same. Until Damagun and co-travelers develop the balls to expel Wike and G5, PDP will remain a political leprous party. Same goes for LP by the way! Their context is different. Absolutely different. And their result will definitely be different. |

SmartPolician: Buhari destroyed Nigeria and asked for forgiveness. Is sorry supposed to fix the mess he made? I think there should be an agency that prosecutes leaders who failed to fulfil their campaign promises. That's one of the ways of discouraging inept people from contesting for elective positions. Him asking for forgiveness shows that he doesn't practice 'SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS'. I no call name o!

[quote author=InfoGuru118 post=136109726] The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari have arrived in Nigeria from London ahead of his burial in Daura, Katsina State, later today, Daily Watch Nigeria reports. The body, which departed the United Kingdom earlier in the day, was received at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina State by President Bola Tinubu, Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda, senior government officials, and members of Buhari’s family. Buhari died in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025, following a brief illness, at the age of 82. Recall that Vice President Kashim Shettima had earlier been directed by President Bola Tinubu to lead the Federal Government’s delegation to accompany the remains of the former president to the country. The late president is expected to be laid to rest in his hometown of Daura later today in accordance with Islamic rites. https://dailywatch.ng/breaking-tinubu-dignitaries-receive-buharis-body-in-katsina/ |

dominique: 2 former heads of state had to leave the shores of the country for medical treatment at the same time. This doesn't speak well at all. The simple reason is because both our leaders and we that are their followers lack accountability and are very irresponsible. You can't have bad leadership but good followership and things will be this bad. |

All of his children studied outside Nigeria. That is another angle to it. Most of our leaders don't want to eat from the food they have cooked. Like leaders like their followers, all are of the same feathers.
Both our leaders and we that are their followers lack accountability and are mostly very irresponsible. Every body is fighting for their own selfish end. You can't have bad leadership but good followership and things will be this bad. Infact the followers are even worse.Take a look at the menance of FAKE DRUGS for example |

thatigboman: I do not rejoice about people's death. Never. For the death, I say rest in peace. But these yorubas that are preaching, you do not have any moral justification to do that. I remember when abacha died, it was a friend of mine that ran to me "you hear abacha die?" And started singing and dancing in yoruba. Why the whole hypocrisy? Even hausas celebrated his death but it's only igbos that are always targeted. I'm igbo and I'm solemn and I wish him rest in peace And you became sad because your Peter Obi has automatically lost his job under Abacha. The truth is, when Abacha died the jubilation wasn't regional but nation wide. Mean while, the only region so far that we have seen videos of people celebrating Buhari's death in a joyful way is in the core North a state called Kano. |
Health › Re: Buhari: NARD Condole With Family, Calls For Swift Healthcare Reforms by Softmirror: 7:57am On Jul 15, 2025 |
A major reason why these leaders travel out of the country and get treated in such a way that is so private is really because of how certain people will choose to use their illness against them in mocking them. Pictures of Buhari on a sick bed in Nigeria, looking so sick would have graced some headlines of Newspapers and blogs all in a bid to tarnish him. Hence, the move to where their privacy is safe. This is one of the reasons.
Of course we need Health reforms. |

Reference: What about other refineries in the pipeline. What will their creditors say when they hear such news. That perhaps there is no real market for their works.
Remember that already Nigeria cannot supply enough crude for Dangote thoughtless of other works in the pipeline so it will not make any sense to import crude only to export products.
There is far too much global competition for that. Remember the premise of onshore refining of Nigerian crude was local consumption not export. A lot more people are investing into the oil sector as a matter of fact. |

Reference: Wow...just wow.
See what corruption has cost this country. Even proper, righteous enterprises are not spared from its insidious fallout.
I hope this corrupt distortion of data was not the premise of Dangote going all out for a 650kbpd refinery.
That will be an overkill and until he can get other markets, perhaps a waste of resources.
Now of what effect is the real data on other investments in the pipeline by other enterprises....
PS. Are we sure we are actually up to 200 million citizens. Dangote is already exporting his crude product off shore to other countries. |
Politics › Re: Corruption Behind Inflated Petrol Consumption Figures – Dangote by Softmirror: 7:39am On Jul 15, 2025 |
JASONjnr: Dangote is gradually gaining grounds in the oil sector and we can say that he's gathering canals and heading them.
His shots wouldn't be taken for granted.....
I remember when he started airing out his challenges and how he cried with regrets.
But now, he's bold and powerful.
This is possible because the president gave him an enabling platform to succeed.. He has the full backing of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which is the reason for this boldness. |

Is he acting out on what he doesn't know or is he looking for public sympathy from gullible Nigerians? What is this one saying?! Seems you are left far behind. |

Even Muslim-majority nations won’t take in their own people, yet Europe, thousands of miles away bends over backward to import radicals who refuse to assimilate.
France, the UK, and others are already drowning under the weight of unchecked Islamic immigration, and now they’re welcoming even more Hamas sympathizers to roam free. Slowly, they’re letting Europe’s identity be erased. Bravo!🤦♂️🤦♂️ You don't mean it. Wao see Paris and die. Wao, wao wao wao. Lol 😂

Dogalmighty17: I'm glad you asked because I've been wondering the same too. I think forces in the north are preparing to push for a second Jonathan term in 2027. They know it is rightfully still the turn of the south at the presidency and don't trust when Obi said he'll do just one term. Jonathan himself had made the same promise before 2015 to run for just one term. However now they know he is constitutionally barred from running again if he wins in 2027.
I think the second wife publicly announcing and celebrating her Doctorate is her positioning herself to be first lady if Jonathan wins again. She won't be doing that if Jonathan hadn't told her he was being considered. You 'think' not that she personally told you or Jonathan. But this is your wishful thinking. |

Kukutente23: You are just dancing around looking for false equivalents. You can come and show me where Aisha said Buhari did more for cows than humans or that Buhari loved only himself and nothing else. The point being made is not whether he ever praised or vilified Buhari but the optics of writing so stinging a criticism of a man who just died and was his paymaster's man-Friday till death at least in public view The issue of Buhari doing more for cows than humans is a song that has always been sang in the public space. You talk as if, Sam is just inventing this now to spite who? His paymaster publicly said he never collected fura or nunu from Buhari and said so many other things tease fully, like Buhari crying when lost the third time and had chosen to give up until he Tinubu stepped in. All this was when Buhari's 'loyalist' could have turned their backs against Tinubu. To remind you once more, that was when Tinubu declared himself 'EMOKAN' lol 😂 also saying 'We will vote and I will win'. what happened?! Did Tinubu lose?! Trying to make Sam's opinion as if it's his paymaster 's is very illogical and just mischievous. |
