I watched a modern train arrive in Lagos, and the people, who there was plenty of seats for, almost kill each other to be the first person to enter. The most barbaric foolish thing you can imagine and to my knowledge it's normal. It made me wonder, between the Nigerian government and the people, which one is worst?

Africans as a whole complain about their governments a lot. Everything from bad infrustructure to bad weather is blamed on 'the corrupt leaders'. I'm beginning to realize this statement has no purpose and is just something people say out of habit. There is having bad infrustructure, then there is being a citizen, knowing you haven't paid a tax since you were born, and THEN expecting good infrustructure.

Every country on earth has a corrupt government and only someone who hasn't travelled believe otherwise.

This is not what is obtainable in all African countries.

It depends. In every profession you see people lowly paid. Abi have you not seen lawyers earning 50k salary?
As at 10 years ago, the lowest paid teacher in my friends school here in Lagos earned over 150k monthly. Teachers are flown to UK once or twice yearly to brush up on courses eg montessori etc. Just imagine how much they earn now.
