Iamdmentor1: A vote for any other person other than Atiku is a waste of vote.
If Sowore, Moghalu, Duke, Oby etc are interested in making this country a better place, they'd come out of the presidential race and show support for Atiku because only Atiku can unsit Buhari and Buhari must go before Nigeria can progress.
Sowore and co are just self-centred. They know they cannot win but they are still contesting. Nonsense
#AtikuObi if you are a youth and you are saying this then you are a waste to this generation... |

ehissi: Sincerely how did I know they were investigating Benue and Akwa ibom?
Because right after they announced they were investigating Akwa ibom and Benue state, both state treasuries were frozen, and they had no publicly available leads.
In this case, which is the kano state government, they had this lead, which is even on youtube as we speak, but they didnt rush to announce nor freeze any accounts
Infact, intel available to me suggests, that they had the videos over 2 weeks ago, but announced no investigation .
President Buhari himself saw this videos exactly 6days ago at state house (based on the Intel leaked to me by a friend and former colleague), yet nothing has been formally announced.
Why? I will tell you why?
In every Presidential election, there are 3 prized jewel as far as the ballot is concerned. Rivers State, Lagos State and Kano.
River State is firmly under wike's/PDP's grip, Lagos is firmly under tinubu's grip, Kano is shaking.
APC used to be in full control of Kano whe kwakwanso was with APC, now that he left APC, Kano is not sure like before, to affect or tamper with the current APC structure which is tied to Ganduje, may weaken their chances in kano at the polls, that is why Ganduje's case is a serious matter that they need serious diplomacy to handle.
Don't be surprised, that they will never do anything to Ganduje until after the elections, to avoid stories that touch potential ballot papers, that is if they even have any intention to do anything. I hear you , something that just happened and you people are already casting out the hate, give the FG and EFCC the benefits of doubt and see if they will investigate him or not ... if you are less than 50 years old and you are still supporting PDP or APC then you are part of this country problems and you will accounts for your contributions to the next generation... Sowore I know , Sowore I will vote .... Take it back |

ehissi: The difference between that scenerio and mine was that fayose's personal bank accounts were frozen, in my scenerio State government accounts were frozen (as in state treasury itself).
The court held in the case of fayose that was immune from prosecution as a sitting governor, hence freezing his personal accounts was unwarranted.
In the case of Benue which is much more recent that Fayose's case, the court held that EFCC had the right to investigate the activities of a state government.
Why are they not eager to investigate the activities of the Kano state government, kike they are currently doing for Akwa ibom and Benue? sincerely how do you know they are not investigating him ? |
Politics › Re: Kano Government Reacts To Video Of Governor Ganduje 'Receiving Bribe' by sokera: 6:24am On Oct 15, 2018 |
ehissi: But EFCC Froze the accounts of the Benue state and Akwa ibom state government and the reason they gave was that both governors were under investigation.
Infact, the benue state government challenged this reason in court, and the court ruled that indeed the EFCC has powers to investigate a state government's activities.
What has changed between then and now?
Or is it because it is now an APC governor that ought to be investigated and not a PDP governor? maybe I should remind you that Fayose challenged EFCC in court that they have no power to investigate a sitting governor, and he won in court, his bank account that was frozen was ordered in court to be unfrozen... do you remember or you still want to argue ? |

MaziOmenuko: Illiterate! There's a big difference between investigation and interrogation! Dumb doffus that has refused to learn. Use your dictionary at least before embarrassing yourself. You don't need any physical contact before carrying out an investigation. Fayose has been investigated already on crimes bordering on the ekiti farm and the dasuki. Investigations has been ongoing for a long time. Olodo rakpata! He doesn't need to be invited for that.Akpa amu! You are the illiterate, because I emphasized it for you , at a point in investigating interrogation would come in , none was done for Fayose ... |

MaziOmenuko: This is a lie from the pit of hell. You lots spread half truths and insist it's the fact. Immunity cluase covers a governor from prosecution and not from investigation. shut up , Fayose as never been investigated , that is why EFCC never invite him for interrogations since ... a sitting governor can’t be investigated ... if you wanna argue just first of all answer this question , why as Efcc not invitated Fayose for investigation or interrogation since ? |
Politics › Re: Kano Government Reacts To Video Of Governor Ganduje 'Receiving Bribe' by sokera: 10:14pm On Oct 14, 2018 |
somehow: Buhari can't investigate any sitting governor, your useless constitution protects him, the best that can happen now is for the state assembly to impeach him or he's forced to resign.
Buhari can't veto a state governor into resigning, if that was possible, Fayose would have been dealt with before now.
Simple! you are on point , the constitution does not allow a president to investigate a sitting governor, they best that could be do is for the state assembly to impeach him ... |

Tinubu, fashola, amaechi, oshiomole, to mention but a few, why are there names excluded from the list? If you want to fight corruption, fight it to a stand still and not being partisan about it Fighting the corrupt opposition is better than not fighting at all , of PDP had fought the corrupt opposition too like this , maybe Nigeria would have been better than this ... Edcure1: This was an I'll advised decision. It will only bolster their resolve to gang up and work against him during the election.
It will even be better for Buhari if these people left Nigeria and return after the elections.
Buhari hasn't shown any sign of tact since the inception of his administration. The cabal of clannish boneheads that do most of the thinking and decision on his behalf has been the bane of this government from day one. that is to tell you that Buhari put the National interest first before his personal interest, so because he want to contest and win election he should allow those that robbed the country dry to escape from the country ? May God help you from hate |

Yours will be worse cos Igbos are rugged Business inclined people hence know how to manage direct marginalization as it is in this Buhari's Government but the Yorubas have little or nothing to fall back on when it hits them. Better Atikulate now dont isolate yourself, quit your foolish imaginary importance.. you don’t have a point , how did Buhari marginalized Igbos ? What as Buhari done for the Yorubas that he as not done for Igbos ? Is Buhari giving Yorubas a particular funds from the FG account that he is not giving the Igbos ? Or what exactly? Afterall, there are millions of graduates searching for jobs here in Nigeria. Why do they have to go and create more jobs for others when yours are here suffering? I also believe that other nations do same. Don't you think companies like Chevron, Mobil, TOTAL, etc pay taxes to there home countries? Timi1990: How many foreign investors are here in Nigeria ? The ones here are complaining about how difficult it is to run a business in Nigeria . I feel the govt should focus more on transparency with the Tax collected within Nigeria ; before they start chasing Nigerians who have assets abroad . The USA provides food aid, medical aid , housing aid & social security benefit for all their citizens. Nigeria doesn’t have any social & welfare benefit for its own citizens and yet you want your citizens who work hard outside the country to give you return back ?? I feel the govt just need to do more in Nigeria first you are right but we still have to consider the positive side of the policy , This particular policy is aim at the corrupt politicians not the common man , with the level of unemployment in Nigeria the poor masses are suppose to support these kind of policies , because these are the kind of policies that will reduce money laundering and decrease the rate of unemployment at the long run ... everything should not be political ... just my take ooo |
